This research using a quasi-experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. Data of pretest and posttest were collected and analyzed by ANACOVA. The result showed that there are differences of cognitive achievement among students in the experimental class and in a conventional class. The average score of student’s cognitive achievement in experimental class is 69.032 and in the conventional class is 62.078, which is mean that the achievement of cognitive on students that were taught by PBL through ICT is significantly higher than the students that were taught by conventional learning. Key Words : problem based learning, ICT, cognitive achievement Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning berbasis TIK terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu dengan pola pretes-postes. Hasil analisis data pretes dan postes yang diuji melalui analisis anakova menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan siswa pada kelas konvensional. Rerata terkoreksi hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 69.032 sedangkan siswa pada kelas konvensional sebesar 62.078. Hal tersebut berarti bahwa pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif siswa dengan model PBL berbasis TIK secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas konvensional. This study adapted the research and development from Lee and Owen model. The validity of modules and multimedia as a product is known from the validation scores of experts, while the practicality is known from biology teacher and student responses, and the effectiveness from student learning outcomes. The results showed that the average module expert validation score was 89.67% (very valid), material experts were 100% (very valid), media experts were 96.67% (very valid) and field practitioners were 87.50 (valid). Most students gave a positive response to the module by 85.08% and on the media 80,56%. The effectiveness of the development module produces a value of p = 0.13 which means that it can significantly improve student learning outcomes. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning module with mutimedia assisted on cell metabolism is valid, effective, and practical so that it can be used more continued on XII grade senior high school students. Key Words : module, guided inquiry, multimedia, cell metabolism Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kevalidan, keefektifan, dan kepraktisan modul belajar inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan multimedia pada materi metabolisme sel. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model penelitian & pengembangan Lee dan Owen. Kevalidan modul belajar dan multimedia sebagai produk diketahui dari skor validasi para ahli, sedangkan kepraktisan diketahui dari respon guru biologi dan siswa, sedangkan keefektifan diketahui dari hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata skor validasi ahli modul sebesar 89,67 % (sangat valid), ahli materi sebesar 100 % (sangat valid), ahli media sebesar 96,67 % (sangat valid) dan praktisi lapangan sebesar 87,50 (valid). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap modul sebesar 85,08 % dan terhadap media 80,56%. Efektivitas modul pengembangan menghasilkan nilai p = 0,13 yang artinya secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul belajar inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan multimedia pada materi metabolisme sel yang dikembangkan tergolong valid, efektif dan praktis sehingga dapat digunakan lebih lanjut pada siswa kelas XII SMA. This paper took 56 college students of Faculty of Economy at University X as a research subject. The data were obtained through the test, interview, and observation. This research dealt with the five existing level and two additional level of creative thinking. The results indicated two additions of creative thinking leveling, namely level 5 which included the ability of students to elaborate ideas and be fluent in various problem solutions; and Level 6 which includes the ability of students to carry out idea elaboration, fluency, and flexibility in a variety of problem-solving strategies. Elaboration of ideas means that students are able to describe, develop previous ideas, and add some new ideas for the solutions generated. Key Words : creative thinking level, creative thinking, non-mathematics students Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menggambarkan karakteristik tingkat berpikir kreatif matematis pada mahasiswa departemen non-matematika. Penelitian ini mengambil 56 mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi di Universitas X sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh melalui tes, wawancara, dan observasi. Data tersebut berupa deskripsi naratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan lima tingkat berpikir kreatif yang sudah ada dan dua tingkat tambahan. Hasilnya menunjukkan dua penambahan tingkat berpikir kreatif, yaitu tingkat 5 yang termasuk kemampuan siswa untuk mengelaborasi ide dan fasih dalam berbagai solusi masalah; dan tingkat 6 yang mencakup kemampuan siswa untuk melaksanakan elaborasi ide, kelancaran, dan fleksibilitas dalam berbagai strategi pemecahan masalah. Elaborasi ide berarti bahwa siswa mampu menggambarkan, mengembangkan ide-ide sebelumnya, dan menambahkan beberapa ide baru untuk solusi yang dihasilkan. The researcher conducted this research in two cycles. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in students’ mathematical communication skills from cycle I to cycle II. Reciprocal teaching consists of four stages: summarizing, questioning, predicting and clarifying. Technique determination of popu-lation number and sample, researcher use stratified sampling and cluster sampling. Researchers use cluster sampling with the aim to choose which clusters will be taken to be more accurate in obtaining re-search data. The results of this study indicate that the students’ competence is very high with 0.757 and 0.748 of reliability value. Teknik penentuan jumlah po-pulasi dan sampel, peneliti menggunakan stratified sampling dan cluster sampling. This is because biology is the answer to the problems which are related to nature and their interactions with environment. Scientific literacy skills can be imparted to students by using UKBM ( Unit Kegiatan Belajar Mandiri or Independent Learning Activity Unit) on Biology. The purpose of this study was to find out the effectiveness of UKBM towards the enhancement of students' scientific literacy skills. The type of this research is quasi-experiment as it is using pretest and post-test question instruments. The statistical data shows that the average value of scientific literacy skills in the experimental class (20.36) is higher than the control class (15.85). The statistical test with Anakova shows an F value is 51,901 with a probability of 0,000 (sig. <0,05) meaning that there is a significant relationship between pretest and post-test scientific literacy skills and the value of F = 10.607 and sig. (0.002) <0.05 indicates that UKBM which is used in learning process is effective to improve students' scientific literacy skills. Abstrak : Pembelajaran biologi berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan literasi sains siswa, sebab biologi menjadi solusi permasalahan terkait alam dan interaksinya dengan lingkungan. Keterampilan literasi sains dapat dibekalkan kepada siswa dengan menggunakan UKBM Biologi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan UKBM terhadap peningkatan keterampilan literasi sains siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental , dengan menggunakan instrumen soal pretes dan postes. Data statistik menunjukan rata-rata nilai keterampilan literasi sains kelas perlakuan (20,36) lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol (15,85). The research was conducted in July 2016 in Jorong Lubuk Agam, Kenagarian Ampang Kuranji Koto Baru Dharmasraya West Sumatra. This research is descriptive quantitative research.The sample collection techniques employed Accidental Random Sampling. The number of respondents is 33 families. The research results showed that the knowledge and behavior of KRPL still law, respectively 44.1% and 47.27%. The conclusion of this study is the knowledge and behavior of a third of the public about SRFG program is still low, thus we need further action to improve the knowledge and attitude of the community in applying the concept SRFG. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan juli 2016 di Jorong Lubuk Agam, Kenagarian Ampang Kuranji Kecamatan Koto Baru Kabupaten Dharmasraya Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan sampel secara Accidental Random Sampling. Jumlah responden sebanyak 33 kepala keluarga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat tentang KRPL masih kurang, berturut-turut 44,1% dan 47,27%. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan perilaku sepertiga masyarakat tentang program KRPL masih rendah, sehingga perlu dilakukan tindakan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku masyarakat dalam menerapkan konsep KRPL. The data is the entire students of X graders at high school. Based on data analysis, the coefficient correlation between X1 with Y is 0,811, the correlation coefficient between X2 with Y is 0,846 and correlation coefficient between X3 with Y is 0,686. The achievement motivation, critical thinking skills, and reading comprehension ability contribute 0.856 to the scientific literacy skill. Therefore, it can be concluded that achievement motivation, critical thinking skills, and reading comprehension correlate with scientific literacy skill. Key Words : achievement motivation, critical thinking skills, reading comprehension ability, comprehension, scientific literacy Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMA. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas X SMA. Berdasarkan analisis data koefisien korelasi. Secara bersama motivasi berprestasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa berkontribusi sebesar 0,856 pada kemampuan literasi sains siswa SMA. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan motivasi berprestasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman dengan literasi sains. Analisis lebih lanjut menunjukkan hubungan yang positif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi, kemampuan berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan membaca pemahaman meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. This gives an opportunity for the student to attend for the real practical work in the real environment where learning is the real task and activities which equip students with the required skills and knowledge. These tasks and activities are really done in industrial work practices areas where they provide the knowledge appropriate on the student’s field of expertise. One the industrial practices areas are Universities. A survey was conducted using a questionnaire consisting of eight aspects which include: the implementations of the industrial practices (Prakerin). Based on school and students preparation, the resemblance of material provided theoretically and practically, supervision and monitoring students activities, facilities in the industrial practices area, students creativity and initiative, cooperation, students’ discipline and attendance, students achievement and lastly student’s readiness on doing industrial practices (Prakerin).The survey results show that there is the effectiveness of dual education system program on vocational students’ industry practices (Prakerin) in Universities. Key Words : dual education system, industrial practices area/place Abstrak : Salah satu pola pelatihan terbaru dan paling terkenal untuk mengembangkan karir siswa dalam hal keterampilan dan pengetahuan adalah Pendidikan Sistem Ganda. Hal ini memberi kesempatan bagi siswa untuk berada dalam kerja praktek nyata di lingkungan yang sebenarnya dimana pembelajaran adalah tugas dan aktivitas nyata yang membekali siswa dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan. Tugas-tugas dan kegiatan tersebut dilakukan di praktek kerja industri di mana mereka memberikan pengetahuan yang tepat di bidang keahlian siswa. Salah satu tempat praktik industrinya adalah Universitas. Sebuah survei dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari delapan aspek yang meliputi: implementasi praktik industri (Prakerin). Berdasarkan persiapan sekolah dan siswa, kemiripan materi yang diberikan secara teoritis dan praktis, pengawasan dan monitoring kegiatan sis-wa, fasilitas pada tempat praktek industri, kreatifitas dan inisiatif siswa, kerjasama, disiplin dan kehadiran siswa, serta prestasi siswa dan yang terakhir adalah kesiapan siswa dalam melaksanakan praktek industri (Prakerin). Hasil survei dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada keefektifan program pendidikan sistem ganda pada praktik industri siswa SMK (Prakerin) di Perguruan Tinggi. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in learning achievment of students who were taught by inquiry learning and verification. The students’ learning achievment of students who were taught by inquiry learning better than students who were taught by verification (2) there were differences between in learning outcomes of students with high spatial and students with low spatial, students who have high spatial performance is better than low spatial ability students the high spatial ability to the students learning achievement in the molecular shape topic (3) there were not interaction between inquiry learning and verification methods with the students’ spatial ability. Key Words : inquiry learning, visibility space, learning achievment Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar pada pokok bahasan bentuk molekul antara siswa yang diajar dengan pendekatan inkuiri terbimbing dan pendekatan verifikasi (2) mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan antara kemampuan kemampuan pandang ruang tinggi dan rendah terhadap hasil belajar siswa (3). mengetahui apakah terdapat interaksi antara cara pengajaran Inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi dengan kemampuan pandang ruang siswa.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan cara inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi. Hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan cara inkuiri terbimbing lebih baik dibanding dengan siswa yang diajar dengan cara verifikasi (2) ada perbedaan kemampuan pandang ruang tinggi dan rendah terhadap prestasi belajar kimia pada bentuk molekul, hasil belajar kimia dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan pandang ruang siswa (3) tidak ada interaksi antara metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan verifikasi dengan kemampuan pandang ruang siswa.
