{"title":"I rapporti con la corte francese dell’Arlecchino Tristano Martinelli nelle 'Compositions de rhétorique' (1600-1601)","authors":"Cécile Berger","doi":"10.18352/INCONTRI.10264","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18352/INCONTRI.10264","url":null,"abstract":"The Arlecchino Tristano Martinelli’s relationship with the Royal French Court, in the Compositions de rhetorique (1600-1601) The purpose of this paper is to examine the development and context of the Compositions de rhetorique by Tristano Martinelli between October 1600 and 17 January 1601. This work is nowadays conserved in one single copy, stored at the Bibliotheque Nationale de France. The book was published on the occasion of the royal wedding between King Henry IV of Navarre and Maria de’ Medici, officiated on 17 December 1600 in Lyon. For exceptional occasions of this kind, the French Court often invited Italian comedians since the 1570s. At the same time, most of them took advantage of their presence in France to publish personal works, mainly comedies and theoretical writings about comedy. In this case, the famous comedian Tristano Martinelli, known as the first and best Arlecchino ever, published a book that is half empty, containing only a few printed pages. Jahier’s works – from the early articles appeared on La Voce up to Con me e con gli alpini – is investigated through the lens of the religious background of the author. In doing so, the article emphasizes the role played by two French authors, Paul Claudel and Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, in affecting Jahier’s stance on WWI. It argues that Jahier draws on Claudel’s and Proudhon’s work to shape the theoretical foundation of his interventionism. The study, which is based on the electronic data-base TRALYT – Translation and Lyrical Tradition between Italy and France (19th - 21st Century), under development at the University of Padua, intends to offer a complete bibliographic overview of the translations of Rimbaud’s poems, published in Italy between the end of the 19th century and the second decade of the new millennium. {"title":"Nanni Moretti in France: Industrial and Cultural Models of an Italian Auteur’s Success Abroad","authors":"Valerio Coladonato, Damiano Garofalo","doi":"10.18352/INCONTRI.10271","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.18352/INCONTRI.10271","url":null,"abstract":"Nanni Moretti in Francia: Modelli industriali e culturali del successo di un autore italiano all’estero Gli ultimi quattro film prodotti e diretti da Nanni Moretti ‒ La stanza del figlio (2001), Il caimano (2006), Habemus papam (2011), Mia madre (2016) ‒ si sono tutti classificati nella top 20 dei film italiani piu visti nelle sale cinematografiche francesi durante gli ultimi 20 anni. A partire da questo dato, il contributo analizza l’impatto dei film di Moretti e la loro circolazione nel contesto culturale francese. Tale caso di studio permette di approfondire i processi di costruzione dell’idea di autore italiano all’estero. Dopo aver analizzato i rapporti italo-francesi e il sistema mediale trans-nazionale che accompagna la produzione e la distribuzione del cinema di Moretti in Francia (dalle co-produzioni alla partecipazione Festival di Cannes, sino ai dati relativi ai passaggi televisivi dei suoi film), l’articolo approfondisce la ricezione critica del suo cinema e la costruzione della sua immagine di regista e “celebrita” mediatica per le elite culturali francesi.
