The educational environment of a military higher educational institution is considered as a combination of several local environments - educational environments of faculties. The article presents the results of the study of two local environments of a military university: the main faculty, which trains Russian cadets and military personnel of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and a special faculty, organized for the training of foreign students from countries of near and far abroad. The results of diagnostics of the selected environments are described, which is based on the methods of vector modeling and examination of the psychological and pedagogical organization of the educational environment of V.A. Yasvin school, adapted by the authors for the task of studying the environment of a higher military educational institution. The purpose of the statistical study was to classify the local environments of the main and special faculties of a military university to a certain type, as well as to find and compare the corresponding diagnostic environmental parameters. To implement the typologization, a technique was used based on the assumption that the type of environment is determined by the conditions and capabilities of the educational organization in relation to the development of the student's activity and independence, the diagnostic parameters of the environment characterize the student's development capabilities. As a result of the study for each studied educational local environment of a military university the type was determined and the values of diagnostic parameters were calculated, among which conditionally determined and variable parameters of the environment were identified. It is shown that the local environments of the main and special faculties are of different types, which, from the standpoint of the environmental approach, allows us to conclude that there is a need for a separate design of educational activities for these two faculties. The purpose of the article is to describe the changes in the modern foreign school and to gain useful experience in the formation of schoolchildren’s competencies necessary for life in modern conditions. Currently in school didactics there are constant discussions about the introduction of new school subjects that have more in common with our modern life. School subjects that are studied at school today were already in the school curriculum in the past, and even the century before. However the school must correspond to current realities. In today’s world students need to learn “soft skills” to be competitive and successful in their profession. Today the society needs initiative, independent thinking, creative people who are able to perceive reality critically, who know the basics of digital literacy. New school subjects to be introduced into the curriculum should better prepare graduates for their future lives in the context of globalization, digitalization and climate change. The goal of modern education is to “teach how to learn”. Therefore it is necessary to strengthen at all levels of school education the tendency to develop in students independent thinking, creativity, the ability to project new own research. The article describes and analyzes individual school subjects introduced into the school curriculum in a number of countries in recent decades. In some schools in Germany the school subjects “Research”, “Care”, “Nutrition and Health”, “Happiness” are studied. Schools in Italy, New Zealand, Finland have introduced the subject “Climate Change and Sustainable Development”, etc. Examples of the main forms of organizing lessons and the main approaches (project-based learning, cross-subject learning) are given. The role of the teacher is defined, they play the role of a consultant, whose main task is to motivate the student to research, regardless of the upcoming assessment, to teach them to think. This is the idea of the dialectic of the temporal and eternal in a person, permanent and alluvial in their character and personality type. V. Rozanov, I. Bunin and M. Prishvin combine in their reflections on the Yelets Region several unshakable themes that constitute the instance of native places in thinking. These are religiousness, loneliness and nature. The philosophy of education is born at the intersection of the problems of philosophy and pedagogy, providing scientific practice with a rich interweaving of various problematic issues, the consideration of which serves to reveal more deeply the features of the philosophical approach to teaching and upbringing. The article reveals the details of the dissertation process, which uses the ideas of the philosophy of education of various thinkers whose fate is connected with the Yelets region. Various texts are born and acquire infinite richness in the comprehension of existentials perceived in native and dear places. The concept of the “Yelets Chronotope” can become the basis for understanding the spiritual, philosophical and scientific potential of the region. Methodology based on axiology in terms of Knowledge Content, Technology, Pedagogy and Language Didactics aims at renovation of the structure of additional multi-level educational programs within online and off-line sessions. Results reveal the potential of learners’ professional skills set defined as complex of components where existential competence as a priority. The latter means personal attitude of the student to international languages and to his/her educational activity; professional projects of schoolteachers are based on the reflection of the design of the additional programs. In particular, there are different points of view on the usefulness and necessity of distance learning technologies, to which higher education institutions were forced to switch. In the article, the author analyzes the increase in stress levels and especially information stress during a pandemic. The characteristic of the concept of information stress is given. Various points of view on the causes of stress in general, information stress in particular, its manifestations and consequences are analyzed. The results of a diagnostic study of information stress in students obtained using survey methods are presented. The author’s questionnaire and standardized methods were used: rapid diagnosis of K. Schreiner’s stress state (DSS, 1993); lifestyle analysis (Boston stress test); stress tolerance test. The level of information stress during the pandemic period and the causes are determined: information overload due to educational activities; anxiety about the future; the rapidity of the changes taking place, negative news. These data allow us to conclude that the increase in the level of information stress is not directly related to distance learning. The productive students’ coping strategies are defined: communication with friends, a loved one; sleep, rest, change of activities; analysis of their actions, search for other options; change of their behavior in this situation; physical activity. Unproductive coping strategies are noted, overeating is indicated as the main one. The main psychophysiological manifestations of stress are identified: headaches, increased fatigue; palpitations, heart pain; heavy breathing; tension or muscle trembling. The relevance of this research is confirmed with contradictions:-between the necessity to teach mediators – translators/interpreters at language universities of country and the lack of the pedagogical system and its technologies; – between global processes in the world and the citizen identification of every nationality that tries to save its values, language and customs. The purpose of the paper is to describe technologies of mediators-translators/interpreters at the language university. The methodology of the study is based on the method of analysis and synthesis of scientific literature in pedagogy, psychology, cultural studies, linguistics, on the conflicts-classification, on the method of linguistic comparison, on the method of observing the behavior of native speaker. In the paper is described the activity of mediator-translator/interpreter who resolves conflicts on the level of nonverbal behavior, in the process of translation of precedent names and statements and concepts. Mediator-translator/interpreter must have following competences: pluricultural-global and meditative. The main technology of pluricultural-global competence is the formulation and the interpretation of pluricultural concepts range. The technologies of the mediative competence are: 1) tolerance; 2) reframing; 3) prohibitions for mediator-translator/interpreter; 4) description of stereotyped nonverbal behavior; 5) the translation of precedent names and statements; 6) the translation of concepts. The changes in the federal legislation on education in terms of expanding the opportunities for the participation of employers and their associations in the process of training personnel of the relevant profile are characterized. Particular attention is paid to the problem of coordination between federal state educational standards and professional standards. An analysis of the changes in the approach to the content and forms of practical training of graduates is given. Noting the formal approach of some employers to the participation in the development and implementation of educational programs, the authors conclude that there is a necessity for a systematic approach to this process and for the coordination of the main areas of interaction between key participants on the part of councils for professional qualifications. Based on the analysis of these regulatory documents and the current situation, the authors conclude that the educational organizations of law enforcement structures are gradually adapting centralized methods of managing professional training of personnel to the realities of a market economy. One of the leading and most important areas is the constant expansion of the direct participation of ordering departments in the educational process and the organization of practical training at specialized organizations directly. A characteristic is given of such areas of activity of the Council for Professional Qualifications in the field of safety in emergencies as participation in the development of state standards for vocational education, updating vocational education and training programs, organizing activities for professional public accreditation of educational programs. The structure of ethnicity is outlined (cognitive, affective and behavioral components). Ethnic identity is regarded as an integral part of social identity. On the individual level ethnic identity is viewed as a special form of Self-concept, at the same time ethnicity is considered as a group characteristic. This paper examines research methods which are used to measure ethnic identity in Russian and foreign cross-cultural studies. Foreign surveys which are dedicated to the examination of ethnic identity are divided by the author of the article into two categories: culture-specific methods (e.g. surveys which can be used to study only one specific ethnic or cultural group) and general methods (surveys which can be used among respondents who come from different ethnic backgrounds taking into account translation and adaptation of these methods). The present article provides evidence that in Russian psychological tradition cognitive and affective components of the ethnic identity are primarily measured. Behavioral context of ethnicity is examined occasionally. Modern Russian and foreign surveys which measure behavioral component of ethnicity and which are rarely used in contemporary Russian ethnopsychological empirical studies are described in detail.
