Para ello, primero, se establecera un marco teorico sobre el crowdsourcing donde se tratara cuales fueron los fenomenos de los que nacio (sus raices) y la definicion del termino. Estos recursos teoricos serviran para detectar y evaluar los casos de aplicacion de crowdsourcing a la arquitectura. A continuacion, se tratara el estado actual de aplicacion del crowdsourcing a la arquitectura. El crowdsourcing ha sido ampliamente utilizado para proyectos de gran escala (urbana y territorial) como medio para realizar cartografias colaborativas de todo tipo. Sin embargo, en la escala mediana, este modelo de colaboracion masiva apenas se ha aplicado. Los unicos casos de aplicacion del crowdsourcing al proyecto de arquitectura, implementados publicamente, han sido Arcbazar y Pillar. Ambas son plataformas de concursos donde se implementan procesos de crowdsourcing selectivo. Para encontrar nuevos modelos alternativos, se buscaran, casos de arquitectura que se encuentran vinculados a las raices el crowdsourcing. Tras realizar una lista de casos, estos se evaluaran segun la definicion del termino de Estelles y Gonzalez para determinar su cercania al crowdsourcing. Los casos mas cercanos al crowdsourcing se analizaran para estudiar las posibles nuevas vias de aplicacion. Finalmente se concluye con la deteccion de dos posibles modelos alternativos al modelo de concurso: el modelo para la creacion de colecciones y el modelo para el desarrollo de sistemas. EnglishThe objective of this article is to evaluate the state of the art of the crowdsourcing application to the medium-scale architectural design and detect possible new application models. First of all, a theoretical framework on crowdsourcing will be established. On the one hand, the phenomena from which crowdsourcing was born (its roots) will be studied. On the other hand, the definitions of the term will be discussed. Both are theoretical re-sources that will be used to detect and evaluate cases of crowdsourcing application in architecture. Next, the current state of application of crowdsourcing to architecture will be discussed. Crowdsourcing has been widely used for large-scale designs (urban and territorial) with the aim of creating collaborative cartographies of all kinds. However, in the building scale, crowdsourcing has barely been applied. The only cases of application to architectural design, implemented publicly, have been Arcbazar and Pillar. Both are contest platforms where selective crowdsourcing processes are implemented. In order to find new alternative models of application, cases of architecture that are linked to the roots of crowdsourcing will be sought. After making a list of cases, these will be evaluated according to the definition of the term by Estelles and Gonzalez to determine its proximity to cr","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126985754","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En este articulo analizamos como los ciudadanos, de forma consciente o inconsciente, somos los encargados de activar la Red y los dispositivos tecnologicos que estan estimulando cambios direccionales de la ciudad, fenomeno que hemos denominado digitropismo urbano. Para una mejor comprension del tema, tras la contextualizacion del fenomeno, realizamos una taxonomia a partir de la clasificacion de las redes que actuan sobre la ciudad y sus repercusiones sobre el espacio fisico. En primer lugar, hemos pro-cedido a analizar las redes basadas en la participacion pasiva del individuo en las transformaciones urbanas, para luego estudiar un conjunto de redes emergentes que facilitan la participacion activa del individuo en los cambios direccionales de la ciudad. Esta clasificacion, nos permitio determinar un primer grupo de transformaciones que estan induciendo a la gentrificacion, al desplazamiento y a la ampliacion de flujos urbanos, que consecuentemente producen cambios fisicos y de identidad de los lugares. Ademas, detectamos un segundo grupo de transformaciones, capaces de estimular la regeneracion y la creacion de nuevos espacios urbanos. Para finalizar, concluimos con la propuesta de una agenda de investigacion sobre el digitropismo urbano. EnglishThe Information and Communication technologies have stealthily taken over everyday life, but with unquestionable force. In this article we analyze how, consciously or unconsciously, citizens and visitors are responsible for activating Network and digital technologies which are triggering major directional changes in the city’s physical space. In this paper, this phenomenon is coined as urban digitropism. For a better understanding of the phenomenon, we carry out a taxonomy based on the classification of different networks that act within the city and observe their impact on the urban space. Firstly, we analyze networks based on passive citizen participation in urban transformations. Secondly, we study a set of emerging networks that facilitate the active citizen participation in the directional changes of the city. Thirdly, we catalogue the unleashing effects of these networks in the metabolism of cities, which allowed the identification of a first group of transformations related to changes in the use of the urban space entailing gentrification, displacements and increases in urban flows. These urban transformations are, in turn, causing physical and identity changes in the urban space. A second group of transformations was recognised, capable of stimulating the regeneration and creation of new urban spaces. Finally, the article concludes with a research agenda on urban digitropism.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132003414","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En la Ciudad de Nueva York se creo el sistema de transporte de masas en el siglo XIX, el ferrocarril “elevado”, y tambien se ensayo por primera vez un sistema de transporte individual en el siglo XX, el “parkway” y su posterior evolucion, el “expressway”. Este trabajo profundiza en el origen y la evolucion de la movilidad individual en la Ciudad de Nueva York para comprender el impacto e influencia de la infraestructura en la forma urbana. Se demuestra que la infraestructura de movilidad individual no nacio como canal de comunicacion, sino mas bien como via de esparcimiento. El “parkway” fue creado para escapar de la ciudad industrial e hizo posible la construccion de la ciudad suburbana. Su rapida evolucion hacia el “expressway” con una mayor capacidad y velocidad, evito el colapso de la Ciudad de Nueva York y garantizo la accesibilidad a su centro. Pero al mismo tiempo anulo la ciudad construida en base a las lineas naturales de movimiento del siglo XIX que dirige sus calles a la costa. Y sellando hasta hoy la salida natural de la Ciudad de Nueva York al agua. El articulo es un compendio de nueve textos cortos y un epilogo a modo de conclusion, con sus respectivos documentos graficos. In New York City, the mass transport system was created in the 19th century, the “elevated” railroad, and an individual transport system was also tested for the first time in the 20th century, the “parkway” and its subsequent evolution, the expressway. This work delves into the origin and evolution of individual mobility in New York City to understand the impact and influence of infrastructure in the urban form. It is shown that the individual mobility infrastructure was not born as a communication channel, but rather as a means of recreation. The parkway was created to escape the industrial city and made possible the construction of the suburban city. Its rapid evolution towards the expressway with greater capacity and speed, prevented the collapse of New York City and guaranteed accessibility to its center. But at the same time it annulled the city built based on the natural lines of movement of the 19th century that directs its streets to the coast. En este articulo se profundiza en el estudio sobre si esta realidad se maximiza debido al conocimiento integro y al buen uso de la disciplina arquitectonica (ejercidos por la figura del cineasta), a traves de referencias y referentes arquitectonicos e incluso con el empleo de recursos espaciales y tecnologicos. El presente ensayo resulta del analisis arquitectonico de un estudio de caso muy elocuente: los decorados recreados del hotel Overlook, del director Stanley Kubrick, posiblemente unos de los escenarios mas verosimiles de toda la historia del cine de terror y misterio. Se concluye con una reflexion que demuestra de que manera su arquitectura contribuye a inducir pavor en el espectador. Como resultado, la citada aportacion permitira aseverar que la posibilidad de un analisis compartido entre la arquitectura y el cine como disciplinas visuales, sera factible debido, esencialmente, a la condicion colaborativa proyectual que ambas profesiones comparten. Supone asi un importante aspecto que evidencia las posibilidades profesionales comunes entre el primer y el septimo arte para los arquitectos. EnglishArchitecture in the cinema is an added factor that influences the credibility of the movies. This article delves into the study of whether this reality is maximized due to the full knowledge and good use of the architectural discipline (exercised by the figure of the filmmaker), through well-known references and architectural icons, and even with the use of spatial and technological resources. The present essay results from the architectural analysis of a very eloquent case study: the recreated sets of the Overlook hotel, possibly one of the most credible scenarios in the history of horror and mystery films. It concludes with a reflection that demonstrates how its architecture helps to induce fear in the viewer. As a result, the aforementioned contribution will make it possible to assert that the possibility of a shared analysis between architecture and cinema as visual disciplines will be feasible, essentially due to the collaborative projectual condition that both professions share. This is an important aspect that demonstrates the common professional possibilities between the first and seventh art for architects.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125284173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A device is formed by a set of practices, knowledge, institutions, regulations and even architectures, in which produces a manipulation of forces. From this point of view, planning emerges as the object of analysis of a given society, in a particular historical, geographical and cultural context. Through the study of the legends of different general plans of the city of Malaga, considered as a laboratory for experimentation thanks to the intense urban and economic development suffered in the XX and XXI centuries, it is shown as the legends of the plans, as the join of the normative determinations and the spatialization that is concrete in the plans, suppose an optimal reflection of the operation of this device. The aim of this analysis, for architects who feel committed to their time, is to learn the mechanism of operation of the device to acquire the effective ability to operate on it.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130412597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Artist and spectator, architect and observer, have established new laws that allow us to approach the object from visions related to the sensory, the energy or the virtual. And these experiences have moved and exchanged between art and architecture, in a continuous and reciprocal way, creating more rich and interesting experiences. The project has an interior garden as the hub of school activity. The classrooms and the server spaces are arranged around the open space. In order to generate this scheme, the usual order of the definition of the project is reversed. The garden is not the consequence of fixing the volume of the building, but rather it is drawn in the first place to define the form and constructive guidelines of the rest of the building. The use of the Third Natures creates an environment characterized by two existing categories: firstly, the nature that is born by itself without any alteration, secondly, the one that is modified by the human being for practical means. The new nature’s design tools derive from some cultural, artistic, and technological references. By the multiplicity of languages, Amid works as a techno-social agent: they combine all the ingredients of the project into a new holistic form, from programming codes to crafts and craft techniques. The Francisco Giner de los Rios Foundation creates a new entity by the assemblage of art and technology: a Third Nature that progressively conceals the artificiality of architecture in favor of materializing the experience.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"33 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114052529","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DLA has been used to reproduce convincing or credible growth rules from what has been learned from programmable displays such as NetLogo (Wilenski 1999). In particular, the tools that reproduce the simulation learned from NetLogo are the Grasshopper software to generate the geometry, the Exoskeleton plug-in to get surrounding surfaces to these wireframe structures, and the Weaverbird plug-in to smooth transitions between mesh faces. This last tool allows smoothing the mesh by iterations that increase or not the number of faces, which allows to understand some theories about smooth transitions in forks of natural structures (Mattheck 1990). This article also serves to reflect on how kinetic-physical models based on mechanics inspired by Artificial Intelligence help to share methods of analysis with other disciplines such as cybernetics or fluid dynamics or the social and environmental sciences. Why can this happen? Because of the rigor in language that all the time tries to refer to populations of individuals, to life cycles, to multi-variable systems, to reciprocity rules or to pacts with near particles.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"105 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132215945","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fading of the Cartagena´s silent cities\". The investigation was conducted by Professor Andres Martinez Medina and the members of the court that evaluated the investigation were the doctors; Maria Elia Gutierrez Mozo, Maria del Mar Loren Mendes and Ignacio Gonzalez-Varas Ibanez. The architecture seems to have always lived in front of life. However, life and death are two sides of the same coin: there is no city of the living without its Eusapia or city of the dead. Lewis Mumford said it in 1961: perhaps the cities, in their origin, were nothing more than necropolis. And every city is, at least, a set of built architectures that, in the case of cemeteries, summon eternity. Nevertheless, and significantly, these architectures, those of memory cities and cemeteries have been poorly drawn, even before they were built. There may be some plans for these cities, but little remains of the 'forever dwellings', often replicas of the architecture of the living, influenced by their own aspirations.","PeriodicalId":298878,"journal":{"name":"[i2]: Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura y Territorio","volume":"287 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127405169","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
