Abstract
Throughout history, and especially during the 20th century, artists and architects have demonstrated the ability to perform permeable, changing, undefined, open processes where the art object, the architectural work, transforms, mutates or acquires new meanings through a new contextualization. Artist and spectator, architect and observer, have established new laws that allow us to approach the object from visions related to the sensory, the energy or the virtual. And these experiences have moved and exchanged between art and architecture, in a continuous and reciprocal way, creating more rich and interesting experiences. This 'equivocal' architecture, ambiguous between what it represents and how it is named, achieves to join the parts, elements, references, to build a new object with a new sense and more rich in its significance.
