The basic principle of pulsating voltage injection is analyzed in detail, and the rotor position and speed estimation system is designed to make improvements. On this basis, a novel sensorless control method based on pulsating current signal injection is proposed in this paper. The two methods are compared by theoretical analysis and simulation. In this paper, an indirect self-tuner is proposed for position control of the LSRM by combining the recursive least squares (RLS) estimator with the minimum-degree pole placement method (MDPP) for controller design. Control system construction and operation based on one single Digital Signal Processor (DSP) are also established. Experimental results demonstrate the control scheme with on-line least-square parameter identification has a better performance than PID controller on modifying steady-error variances between each operation side in square-wave tracking. It provides general calculation of all parameters of the solar energy monitoring system and selects parameters for the photovoltaic cells and controller. The results of different algorithms are compared to make the maximum efficiency of the system. Taking Tianjin area as an example, the parameters of photovoltaic cells, the battery, the controller and other important devices are selected for the system. The developed approach can reduce the circulating energy through the bridge switches using an appropriate choice of the resonant frequency between the transformer leakage inductance and the clamp capacitance in relation to the switching frequency. Thus, current and the voltage stresses can be reduced and the converter efficiency improved. It has also been demonstrated that the use of a voltage-doubling output rectifier enhances the performance further. There are disadvantages of the traditional algorithm, such as the pulse width limit and phase delaying. The improved algorithm, which combines the prediction algorithm and the deadbeat control, can calculate the switching duty cycle of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter in advance and output timely. In this paper, this new method is introduced in detail, and the advantages compared to the traditional algorithm are presented. Simulation experiments are done based on both algorithms. The results verify that the phase of output current tracks the grid voltage better. The loss of the PMSM drive system is tested with the low speed. The modulation of carrier frequency in PMSM was discussed in this paper. According to the working situation of the EV, the carrier frequency would change to improve the effective of the driving system. Many power engineering students however find it difficult to understand the conducting states of the active switches (transistors, IGBTs) and the passive switches (the anti-parallel diodes connected across the active switches). It seems a mystery to them that power can flow from a lower voltage ac system to a higher voltage dc system to charge the energy storage system. This paper proposes a simple chart that intuitively explains how to determine the states (either conducting or non-conducting) of the active and passive switches of an inverter. The flowchart helps students to understand the cyclic changes in the topology of the circuit in a switching cycle. The flowchart by nature is general and can be used for any type of control methods such as sinusoidal PWM and hysteresis control. The Dual-mode digital controller addresses transient and steady-state modes. To accommodate fast dynamic response, the SMC law is adopted in transient mode. In steady-state mode, the PID control law which is clocked at a frequency lower than the converter switching frequency for consideration of energy consumption is applied to minimize power consumption. This paper takes a Buck converter as an example to analyze the Dual-mode application in SMPS.
