In this study, near infrared optical measurement is applied to overcome the invasive issues. The designed device consists of an infrared emitter which placed over the fingertip for measurement of blood glucose optically. The near-infrared light will be sensed by the photo diode which having a certain wavelength. The intensity of received light is depending on the glucose molecules inside the blood. Tensubjects have been used during the experiment set. Early result is presented that blood-glucose level range starting from 6.3 to 11.5mol/L during normal non-fasting, voltage measured from the design device having of 1.4V to 1.66V and during fasting, the voltage range is about 1.38V to 1.61 V with reading of 4.7 to 5.5 mol/L. A pyramid shaped object is recorded as a digital hologram by using the off-axis setup. Due to the unique nature of the hologram, the object information can be reconstructed by using a portion (25%, 50% and 75%) of the total hologram size. These allow us to reduce the hologram file size. The hologram is then used as a watermarks image. We had demonstrated that the watermark perceptual quality and robustness increase by reducing the watermark file size. The watermarking is done by superposed the watermark into the wavelet captured host image. Starting from market survey this paper will look into the existing civilian UAVs and designing of a new class of civilian UAV that can fill in the existing design gap that not readily available for commercial needs. The design goals have been previously established and the publication currently under peer review together with this paper [1]. This paper dealt with the preliminary design of a slow speed, easy to fly low-cost UAV known as the Alpha to fill in the gap that has been identified. This paper presents automatic recognition of the Spoken Arabic Digits based on (GMM) classifier and the leading approach for speech recognition features extraction Delta-Delta Mel- frequency cepstral coefficients (DDMFCC). In the proposed HFDVF-PSO method, the inertia weight is dynamically and nonlinearly adjusted to obtain better balance between global and local search abilities of the PSO using the absolute value of the average velocity of the particles as a feedback to the fuzzy inference system. The performance of the proposed method is tested on standard 10-unit test system and is compared with the conventional PSO method and the methods reported in literature. Auditory evoked potentials (AEPs) are a type of EEG signal emanated from the scalp of the brain by an acoustical stimulus. AEP response reflects the auditory ability level of an individual. In this paper, AEP signals were generated at fixed acoustic stimulus intensity in order to determine the hearing perception level of a person. Spatio-temporal domain features of three distinct bands were extracted from the recorded AEP signal. Feedforward neural network models were employed to classify the normal hearing and abnormal hearing level of a person. Probing is involved in most of the process. Hence, designing a system to assist engineers in component searching during probing process is critical. This paper discusses a designed system that consists of a National Instruments embedded board NI sbRIO-9632XT, a movable laser pointer, two stepper motors with limiting switches as sensors attached at origin, and a web-camera for image processing of the location of the Device under Test. A personal computer acts as a host to link the PCB design software - EAGLE and the National Instruments graphical programming environment - LabVIEW by using batch file, and to incorporate them into the hardware. The image processing part is done by LabVIEW Vision Acquisition Software. The designed system is able to detect any printed circuit board (PCB) within a maximum dimension of 182 × 302mm. The system has been tested with promising results. It can perform task fully autonomous or remotely piloted or both. UAV can perform task where human life can be of risk at the same time an alternative to cost effective solution. Use of UAV in civilian application has started to become common as technology become more readily available in the civilian arena. Availability and accessibility of advance autonomous technology for civilian has encourages wide range of civilian UAVs been developed. Gathering of data shows that most Civilian used UAV have wing span around 3 meter while its total takeoff weight is less than 6kg. This is important due to the nature of mission in civilian usage which may endanger properties and life forms that includes human. Small size, low speed UAV has relatively small kinetic energy in the event of crashes. This paper will look into the existing civilian UAVs and identify demands that yet to be addressed. In this paper we have identified the design goals to fill in the existing gap while keeping affordability in mind. This paper also dealt with the parameter that will assist in the conceptual design of a slow speed, easy to fly civilian use UAV. Solutions of power saving are needed to reduce the power usage and utilize of renewable energy. Renewable power sources can be used to power up AC or DC loads, but performance of renewable power is unstable due to the environmental issue. A multiple input power sources UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) system is needed to maintain the On-state of the attached load by switching load's power sources from one type to another based on the priority and availability of multiple input power sources. Two solutions are proposed in this paper to cooperate with each others to utilize the UPS function with renewable power sources. They are active and passive solution. For active solution, system performing power switching function from one type of power source to the other based on the different of power source priority. Monitoring of all the input power sources is needed in order to perform power switching.
