Application of GIS in Property Valuation field very helpful for property market valuation information to presented in map and table using ArcGIS 9.3 software. It purpose is to facilities the access and searching the information. Before this, information about property using old files and Microsoft Excel but using GIS spatial and attribute data will be shown. To display property market valuations in Google Earth of each category like residential that have divided into two; double storey house and bungalow, commercial and industrial areas, data that are needed such as property data from JPPH, land parcel from JUPEM, and land use from MBSA. From the property market valuation, can determine high or low market value based on attribute data. In visualization, can analysis the factors of highest and lowest market value based on geographic that have been produced using ArcGIS ang Google Earth. After that, the detail analysis also can determine using ArcGIS 9.3 software such as using overlay and proximity analysis tools. From that data, changes of the market value can be determined the increase market value for each categories of property. Analysis of the property market valuation is performed using mathematical software like Microsoft Excel, SPSS and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) software. Microsoft Excel produces analysis in graph and bar chart of highest and lowest market valuation for each category of property. After that, the changes of the market valuation also can determine. SPSS shows the relationship of property market value with an area. Lastly, using ANN software can predict property market valuation based on algorithms. For prediction property market valuation just not in qualitative factors but can variable in quantitative to make a good analysis for each property categories; residential, commercial and industry.","PeriodicalId":282179,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE 7th International Colloquium on Signal Processing and its Applications","volume":"294 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131953381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

BA is importance to indicate brain activity in both right hemisphere (RH) and left hemisphere (LH). The RH and LH dominant states are closely related to human learning traits such as Attention, Perception and Emotions. In this research, we determine the LS of 41 participants using Kolb's Learning Style Inventory (LSI). The LSI will group them into the LS of either Diverger, Assimilator, Converger or Accommodator. Simultaneously, their Electroencephalogram (EEG) is recorded from which the BA will be calculated using the Asymmetry Relation Ratio (ARR) formula. The Alpha and Beta Energy Spectral Density (ESD) are used as input for the ARR. Finally, the SPSS 2Steps cluster analysis will be deployed to classify the BA towards the corresponding LS. The result obtained shown that the classification of each LS is achieving 100% accuracy. We also managed to specify the significant state of LH or RH dominant for each LS.","PeriodicalId":282179,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE 7th International Colloquium on Signal Processing and its Applications","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132167799","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Event Description Language (EDL) is an event description framework which is used to store and describe objective meaningful event and activity occurring in a video stream. This paper discusses the manual application of one such EDL, the InVISS Event Description Language in annotating actions and events in a video stream. The annotated sequence could later be provided to an activity recognition module for automated recognition of activity in a video stream.","PeriodicalId":282179,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE 7th International Colloquium on Signal Processing and its Applications","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128427402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

All the variables will be constant except the kinds of additives which will be the main theme for comparison, through the retrieval of the signal such as speedometer, odometer, engine revolution and the signal from the electronic control unit (ECU) to electronic fuel injection (EFI). All signals can be displayed online and will be transferred to the mobile computer using a serial communication (RS232). The data will be stored and processed in order to calculate the exact fuel consumption and perform the comparison as well. With this available data, more accurate fuel consumption against traveled distance can be measured even for very short tracks such as the distant of 100 meter at constant vehicle speed. Since the signals are very accurate (fuel consumption signal will be measured in microliter/second (μL/s) and distance (trip) in meter/second (m/s)). The accuracy is in μL as compared to the conventional method which accuracy is measured in liter. That is why the use of this equipment can save time and very accurate to measure fuel consumption among different additives and even to compare the performance in term of time of acceleration.","PeriodicalId":282179,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE 7th International Colloquium on Signal Processing and its Applications","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122288158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A test-rig and computer algorithm are developed to realised the approach. The computer algorithm employs minimum zone circle MZC technique to measure the roundness deviation. High contrast and good quality image segmentation is produced with the developed image processing algorithm technique. Camshaft profile is used to determine the effectiveness of the developed approach. Experimental results reveal that the developed computer algorithm coupled with minimum radial zone circle technique can be used as inspection tool for integrated in-process inspection of form tolerances.","PeriodicalId":282179,"journal":{"name":"2011 IEEE 7th International Colloquium on Signal Processing and its Applications","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-03-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132417066","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
