The purpose of the study: to analyze manifestations of the post-COVID syndrome in children according to data of domestic and foreign studies. Material and methods. Publications on the selected topic in the PubMed and E-library databases (n = 63), which are widely available and meet the analysis inclusion criteria (two-stage and five-stage selection). Scientific studies included as follows: meta-analysis - 5, review - 19, systematic review - 3; clinical trials - 36. Results. The most common long-term symptoms after a new coronavirus infection in children include shortness of breath (12.8-68.0%), headache (17.1-75.0%) and fatigue (10.8-98.0%). Cardiovascular disorders and disorders of the nervous system, and mental disorders, registered in the long-term period in the pediatric population, contributed to the development of follow-up algorithms, models of rehabilitation and monitoring, which is especially important for children with cardiac pathology. Conclusion. The undertaken analysis of studies available in the public domain made it possible to determine the most common symptoms of the post-COVID syndrome, and also showed the importance of studying this problem and the need for a longer follow-up of children who have had a coronavirus infection.","PeriodicalId":279998,"journal":{"name":"Social Aspects of Population Health","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116656933","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Undoubtedly, the current epidemiological situation had a negative impact on the increase in mortality from diseases of the circularity system. Preventive services and regular medical examinations during the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection have been significantly reduced or discontinued, and therefore, the problem of quality of examination of people with diseases of the circulatory system has acquired a particular importance. The purpose of the study was to assess quality of regular medical examination of patients who died at home from acute and chronic forms of diseases of the circulatory system. Material and methods. The authors have analyzed 254 medical death certificates, selected in the territories of the Kemerovo region - Kuzbass region with high rates of cardiovascular mortality. Data were analyzed to identify age and nosological structure of mortality from diseases of the circulatory system. To evaluate quality of regular medical examination the territories were requested to submit the forms N 025/y and N 030/y. The number of cases provided equaled to 56 out of 254 requested, representing 22% of the study sample. Descriptive statistics methods were used for statistical data processing. Results. Chronic forms of diseases of the circulatory system were detected in 209 (82.3%) cases, while acute - in 45 (17.7%). The age of study sample ranged from 33 to 98 years, median 74.5 (65; 85) years. The sample was rather dominated by women than men - 141 (55.5%) versus 113 (44.5%). More deaths from acute forms of diseases of the circulatory system were registered in the age group of 60-74 years, while more deaths from chronic forms - in the age group of 75-90 years. Analysis of the forms N 025/y and N 030/y (n=56) showed that 36 people (64.3%) visited a doctor at least once during the year before death. Patients were not fully examined: total cholesterol was determined in 16 patients (44.4%), while low-density lipoproteins were assessed in only 3 patients (8.3%), electrocardiogram was performed in 13 patients (36.1%), while echocardiography - in 6 patients (16.7%). Consultation with cardiologist was provided to 4 patients (11.1%). Control over health indicators showed that achievement of the target levels of blood pressure in people with hypertension was registered in 43.3% of cases (13 out of 30), control over total cholesterol in people with coronary heart disease was managed in 20% of cases (4 out of 20). Conclusion. Regular medical examination of patients with diseases of the circulatory system was not fully implemented during the pandemic that could possibly account for a low availability of specialized medical care, which should be regarded as a factor of poor outcomes of diseases of the circulatory system.","PeriodicalId":279998,"journal":{"name":"Social Aspects of Population Health","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115086307","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Improving satisfaction with primary care is among the priorities of the project \"Lean polyclinic\" - \"Creation of the new model of medical organization providing primary care\" (2017-2022) - \"Development of primary health care system\" (2019 - 2024). The project is about implementing principles of lean production in the healthcare system, primarily focused on patient needs and careful attitude to the time resource as the main value. According to the project passport, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation, the index of satisfaction of the population with activities of the Ministry of Health should increase from 45.7% to 70% by 2022. The purpose of the study is to assess satisfaction with primary care delivery within the framework of the \"Creation of the new model of medical organization providing primary care\", using a list of indicators of public satisfaction with activities of the Ministry of Health MO on a wide profile of outpatient care facilities and identify priorities for improvement of care delivery within the framework of the project. Material and Methods. Questionnaire survey of people visiting polyclinics. The number of respondents equaled to 506. The questionnaires were filled out in primary care facilities of Stavropol city, participating in the project. The respondents' answers were analyzed using the ratio between the share of those answered and the total number of the respondents calculating a weighted average satisfaction score on a five-point scale. Such approach allowed to rank attributes by their importance on each area of MO activity, to define \"area\" of the highest marks and \"zones\" of low patient satisfaction. The information-analytical system of primary analysis of risk factors - AnkProc, as well as Excel program were used for data input and processing. Conclusion. The survey participants rate the work of health care facilities participating in the pilot project rather high. 44.7% of the respondents were highly satisfied with primary care, 39.7% - mainly satisfied, which in total amounted for 84.4% of the excellent and good marks, while the share of the less satisfied and unsatisfied equaled to 7.7% and 1.4%, respectively. 6.5% of the respondents abstained from answering. The study has identified and ranked 17 parameters of work of primary care facilities, requiring correction and improvement within the framework of the project \"Creation of the new model of medical organization providing primary health care\" in Stavropol. Scope of application. The study results can be used by chief physicians of health care facilities, managers, executors of the project to identify mechanisms to increase public satisfaction with the most important for patients work parameters of health care facilities.","PeriodicalId":279998,"journal":{"name":"Social Aspects of Population Health","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124956579","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In accordance with the Strategy for Healthcare Development in the Russian Federation in 2015-2030, it is planned to strengthen primary health care, as well as to improve the system of education of health care personnel with a focus on training general practitioners (GPs). Therefore, analysis of dynamics in GP performance in recent years is relevant. The purpose of the study: to assess performance indicators of general practitioners in the Russian Federation and Federal districts for the period from 2010 to 2019. Material and methods: based on data from federal statistical observation (form N30) the main performance indicators of general practitioners were calculated and analyzed in dynamics in 2010-2019. The study methods included statistical and analytical ones. Results: during the study period in the Russian Federation in general, there was a slight increase in the actual function of the GP medical position by 5.8% (from 4798.2 to 5074.8) with a simultaneous increase in the number of visits in general and the share of visits to medical organizations (+ 26.6% and 36.5%, respectively). At the same time, the maximum increase in the number of visits is registered in the Central Federal District (2.8 times - from 272.4 to 765.2 per 1000 population and 3.1 times - from 231.7 to 722, respectively). The share of home visits by general practitioners out of all visits in the Russian Federation in 2019 amounted to 7.7%, what is 46.5% less than in 2010. The maximum decrease in this indicator in 2019 is registered in the Central Federal District (-62.2%, from 15.0% to 5.6%). During the study period, the share of outpatient visits to general practitioners for treatment in the Russian Federation in general decreased by 12.4% (from 81.6% to 71.5%), while the share of preventive visits increased by 54.9% (from 18.4% to 28.5%). Conclusion: The described dynamics in the GP performance indicators suggests an increasing role of general practitioners in the structure of primary health care with a higher focus on prevention in their performance.","PeriodicalId":279998,"journal":{"name":"Social Aspects of Population Health","volume":"2014 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127505019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of the study: to analyze dynamics in demographic processes - fertility, mortality and natural increase of the population of the Omsk region, to analyze gender composition of the population of the region and structure of the working age population. Material and methods: The observation period covers 15 years - from 2005 to 2020. The material of the study was official statistics on the number of registered births and deaths, posted on the website of the Federal State Statistics Service. Time series analysis was carried out using the least squares method, regressions for trends were determined and the growth rate of indicators was calculated. Results: In the Omsk region, the birth rate was declining, and by the beginning of 2021 it equaled to 9.3 per 1000 population, which is 30% lower than the average multi-year birth rate. Negative natural growth and migration decline of the population and pronounced urbanization of the Omsk region only exacerbate demographic problems. In the population age structure, there is a decrease in the share of working age population, accompanied by higher demographic burden on both urban and rural working age population. Conclusion: The birth rate in the Omsk region has been characterized by a downward trend since 2014, in 2020 the lowest birth rate of 9.3 per 1000 population was registered, it is 30% lower than the average multi-year level. Mortality in 2005-2019 in the Omsk region was characterized by a weak downward trend (Tsn = -1.2%, r = 0.93), and increased by 23.0%, adding up to 15.5 per 1000 population against the background of the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection. Malnutrition manifesting in different forms as underweight, overweight and obesity is the main public health issue in the world, particularly in young individuals. The purpose of study is to provide an up-to-date summary on prevalence and associated risk factors of nutritional status and eating behaviour among university students. Material and Methods. Preferred reporting elements for systematic reviews and meta-analyses were applied to PubMed, Google scholar, direct Google search, Yandex search, eLIBRARY.RU and Cochrane library databases for studies on prevalence and associated risk factors of nutritional status and eating behaviour among university students. Major findings that raise concerns included prevalence of underweight, overweight and obesity and associated factors. Papers in English and Russian were selected as eligible for systematic review. A qualitative synthesis of the selected studies was performed. Results. After a selection procedure, this systematic review included a total of 19 studies with 13,817 study subjects to assess major findings of interest. Accordingly, the reported rate of underweight, overweight and obesity widely varied across the included studies. Thus, most often studies reported underweight (2.5-54%); overweight was indicated in 7.2%-29.5% of studies; while obesity – in 14.9% of the analyzed studies. The crude prevalence of underweight, overweight and obesity equaled to 15.2%, 17% and 4.2%, respectively. A total of 22 associated risk factors of nutritional status and eating behaviour were identified by individual studies. Conclusion. The analysis results showed that in order to obtain reliable information, it is necessary to monitor not only the overall TB incidence, but also its structural components, such as the incidence of TB-HIV co-infection and the incidence of tuberculosis with multidrug resistance, that could have a negative impact on the prospects for reducing the overall TB incidence to the target values. Purpose: to analyze TB incidence in Russia in dynamics in 200120-20. Material and methods: information from the Federal statistical observation forms No. 8 and No. 33, as well as the Rosstat data on the Russian average annual population, for 2001-2020. Results: Over the past 20 years (2001-2020), there has been a steady decline in TB incidence in Russia; in 2020 the incidence rate equaled to 32.4 per 100,000 population. Such dynamics had a positive impact on the implementation of the TB Elimination Program in Russia, which has been fast progressing over the past 5 years. However, a widespread of TB-HIV co-infection registered in the last decade in a number of subjects of the Russian Federation, may have a negative impact on the dynamics in TB incidence in future, slowing down the rate of its decline, while the co-infection of HIV and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis can significantly increase the risk of death among patients with TB-HIV co-infection.","PeriodicalId":279998,"journal":{"name":"Social Aspects of Population Health","volume":"72 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120888105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
