In most cases, itprimarily affects the nose and nasopharynx. Clinically, it appears as afriable, irregular, reddish polypoidal mass with a history of recurrentepistaxis. Typically, a diagnosis is reached after the histological analysisof biopsy samples taken from polypoid lesions.Methodology: The study was conducted at our institution’s Departmentof Otorhinolaryngology on a total of 20 patients after receiving approvalfrom the Institutional Human Ethics Committee. Results: Out of these 20 patients, 12 had nasal rhinosporidiosis, 4 hadlesions in the oropharynx, and 2 had lesions in the larynx and trachea. Two of these patients had malignant rhinosporidiosis. The mass wasentirely excised via endoscopic sinus surgery, and the base was electrocauterisedto eliminate any potential of recurrence. Conclusion: The benefit of this study was that a sizeable number of caseswith a variety of presentations were examined. This study showed thatearly detection, prompt diagnosis, treatment, and a good follow-upare necessary for treating rhinosporidiosis. How to cite this article:Priya K, Raghvi A. Shoulder capsule tightness and back painare thus indirectly related. Back pain results from their back musclesbeing overused. The current study assesses how a 3-week stretchingand strengthening protocol helps recreational volleyball players withback pain. Objective: The present study was done to find the effectiveness ofcapsular stretching and shoulder strengthening on back pain amongrecreational volleyball players.Methodology: A sample size of 30 players was calculated. Data wereobtained at the beginning and end of the 3-week exercise session usingresistance bands and stretching techniques. Results: Of the 30 individuals, 27 (97%) experienced a significantdecrease in their numerical rating scale (NRS) score for back pain, with a pre-mean score of 7.06 ± 1.25 and a post-mean score of 5.70 ±1.14. The stretching protocol significantly increased the glenohumeralinternal rotation range of motion for all 30 individuals, with pre-test andpost-test mean values of 49.26 ± 5.32 and 71.20 ± 4.31, respectively.Capsular stretching and strengthening of the shoulder were found tobe effective on back pain among recreational volleyball players. Conclusion: Based on the analysis of the results obtained, the presentstudy concluded that stretching and strengthening of the shoulderwere effective on back pain among recreational volleyball players. Depression can negatively affectone’s ability to work, study, eat, sleep and even enjoy life. Objective: To assess perceived stress, depressive symptoms, and eatingpatterns among college students and to assess the association of eatingpatterns with depressive symptoms and perceived stressMethodology: The current cross-sectional study was conducted forcollege students who were studying in eight different departmentsof Jamia Hamdard, Delhi from October 2021 to February 2022. Thesample size was 183. PSS was used for the assessment of stress anddepressive symptoms were assessed using BDI.Results: The study findings revealed that more than half of the collegestudents (66%) were found to have a moderate level of perceived stresswhile 29% had low perceived stress and only 5% of the students hadhigh perceived stress. Most of the college students (56%) had minimaldepressive symptoms, 19% had mild depressive symptoms, 12% hadmoderate depressive symptoms, and 13% had severe depressivesymptoms. It was also seen that 95% of college students had unhealthyeating patterns and only 5% had healthy eating patterns. The presentstudy revealed a significant association between eating patterns andperceived stress. There was no statistically significant associationbetween the eating patterns and depressive symptoms. Conclusion: From the above observation, we concluded that a greatnumber of students were following an unhealthy eating pattern and ahealthy eating pattern can reduce the level of perceived stress amongcollege students. The prevention, control, isolation and containmentof infections and the protection of public health have always beencrucial roles for nurses. On the other hand, there is a dearth of evidenceabout the level of occupational stress experienced by these nurses.Method: This survey study used a cross-sectional approach in which 179nurses from Sikar responded to a questionnaire that was administeredonline. The objective of this study was to assess the work stress of theIndian nurses in Sikar who were helping in combating the COVID-19pandemic. Instruments for the collection of data, such as the SelfratingAnxiety Scale (SAS) and the Indian edition of the Stress OverloadScale (SOS), were used. In order to investigate the potential relevantinfluences, explanatory single-factor correlation analysis, as well asmultiple regression analysis, were used.Result: There was a favourable correlation between this nurse group’sratings on the Stress Overload Measure and their scores on the SelfratingAnxiety Scale. Conclusion: The study showed that the primary contributors to nursingstress are children, the number of hours worked per week, and anxiety. It was seen that the pressure felt by nurses who work to combatCOVID-19 is often high. Autism is caused due to genetic andenvironmental factors. Autism is classified into five major types: Rett’sdisorder, Asperger’s disorder, autistic disorder, childhood disintegrativedisorder, and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified.Stereotypic behaviour is involuntary; sensorial self-regulation activitiesare present in autistic children. Aerobic exercise (AE) is described as atype of exercise that elevates the heart rate and oxygen consumptionof the body. It has been seen to cause improvement in an ASD child’sphysical development, cognitive development, and body composition.Aim: This article aims to present a review of the relevant literature on theefficacy of aerobic exercises on stereotypic behaviour in ASD children. Methods: This review is based on the PRISMA guidelines. The databasesused for searching the articles were PubMed and Google Scholar.Inclusion criteria were taken care of while selecting the articles. Thearticles between the years 2011 and 2022 were selected. Results: In this review, ten studies were selected according to theinclusion criteria and all these studies showed the effectiveness ofaerobic exercise and a decrease in stereotypic behaviour in ASD children. Conclusion: This literature review analysed the efficacy of AE onstereotypic behaviour in ASD children. This study concluded that physicalactivity, which included aerobic exercise, reduced the stereotypicbehaviour of children affected by ASD. India has a 21.8% prevalence of UI which increases with age. Methods: A community-based study was conducted using a selfstructuredand validated questionnaire at the Outpatient Departmentof a tertiary healthcare hospital from October 2020 to January 2021for females between 35 and 65 years of age. 182 females who visitedthe hospital underwent preliminary screening for any complaintsrelated to occasional or repeated problems of urinary leakage, andthose who reported concern were further interviewed in detail withthe self-structured questionnaire. Results: Descriptive statistical analysis was performed to estimate theproportion of each category of the respective groups. 28.02% of thestudy population belonging to the age group of 35 to 65 years wasfound to have UI. Regression analysis estimated that females withvaginal deliveries (> 3), diabetes (random blood sugar level above 120mg/dl), chronic cough more than 6 months, constipation, and lowerurinary tract infection, exhibit greater odds of having UI.Quality of life assessment was performed incorporating King’s quality oflife questionnaire which showed that the urinary incontinence impactdecreased the general health of females and caused limitations tophysical functions as well as psychological well-being which may leadto emotional and sleep disturbances. Conclusions: Females with higher BMI, normal vaginal deliveries, andlower urinary tract infections can lead to urinary incontinence andworsen quality of life. After that,RT-PCR was used to genotype the EIA-positive samples’ G and P types.Demographic and clinical information were recorded on a proforma. Results: The prevalence of rotavirus infection in children below fiveyears of age having acute diarrhoea was 17%. Nine typeable rotavirusstrains out of a total of 17 were typed using RT-PCR. One strain (11.1%)was partially typed, two strains (22.2%) were not typeable, and sixstrains (66.7%) were fully genotyped for the G and P genotypes. TheG1 genotype was found in the greatest number of strains (5, 71.4%),followed by G2 and G10 in 1 strain each (14.3% each). P8 and P4 werefound in one strain each (50.0% each). Conclusion: The majority of rotavirus strains were G1 genotyped. Many diabetic foot patientsdo not respond to conservative treatment as the pathology progressesto such an extent that amputation is the only option that can savethe remaining unaffected limb and health. In many cases, it has beenobserved that homeopathic medicines are effective in the rapid healingof the ulcer thereby preventing amputations. Objective: The aim of this case report is to demonstrate thathomoeopathic medicines improve the healing process in diabeticfoot ulcers. Methods: Using symptomatology, we can implement homoeopathicmedicines on the basis of their pathological sphere of action. Indicationsof carboneum sulph in diabetic peripheral neuropathy, indicationsof secale cornutum in peripheral arterial disease, and indications ofcalendula in rapid healing of the non-healing ulcer can be used efficientlyfor complete healing. Results: The use of homoeopathic medicines such as secale cornutum200, carboneum sulph 30, and calendula Q heals diabetic foot ulcersrapidly in one month. Conclusion: Diabetic foot non-healing ulcer management withhomoeopathic medicines on the basis of not only symptom similaritybut also remedies that cover the underlying pathogenesis of thedisease may represent a good alternative in healing ulcers andavoiding complications.
