New effective methods for teaching Navoi’s works have been developed. In particular, the “kun bayti” technology aimed at attracting the student’s attention, conceptual tables based on comparison, drawings bring the student closer to Navoi’s work to a certain extent during the course of the lesson. Describing the heroes of the work based on miniatures leads to thinking. Based on this principle, this article critically examines the use of punctu-ation in Alisher Navoi's published (electronic) texts over the last 30-35 years, and also addresses the issue of the beginning of sentences in the text.The article deals with the misuse of punctuation in selected sen-tences in Alisher Navoi's works and the places where they cause controver-sy, its origin, and the use of auxiliary words at the beginning of sentences.","PeriodicalId":276633,"journal":{"name":"Uzbekistan: language and culture","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116469664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Folk songs, dastans, ancient hymns, reading traditions, dhikrs of dervishes are vivid examples of this. Although by the Middle Ages, music and poetry separately rose to the level of the classics and began to possess the properties of immanent expression, the mutual \"need\" of these two types of art has survived to this day. Deeply aware of this, musicians of different eras have always aspired to poetry, and poets have always been interested in music.In this respect, especially during the reign of Amir Temur and the Temurids, the activities of many poets and musicians were very effective. Indeed, thanks to the talent of the creators, as well as the commonality of priority ideas and in many respects the similarity of the classical metric of poetry with musical art, highly artistic samples of vocal music were creat-ed, reflecting the amazing harmony of word and melody.These creative traditions, clearly expressed in the system of Twelve Maqoms, continue to this day in the Bukhara Shashmakom, Khorezm ma-qoms, Fergana-Tashkent maqoms and classical vocal genres such as suvo-ra, ashula, katta ashula. Currently, song genres are of particular importance in the formation of the spiritual world of generations, singing in a harmo-nious combination of melodies and words such noble qualities as loyalty to the Motherland and the people, tolerance, sincerity, humanism. In this regard, modern poets, composers and performers have achieved certain results. In the long term, a responsible but noble creative task is to bring the achieved results to a new level, which is a requirement of the time.","PeriodicalId":276633,"journal":{"name":"Uzbekistan: language and culture","volume":"275 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114161843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a period of rise in sciences, music, miniature, calligraphy and literature, and valuable per-sonalities have grown. As we have confirmed with written texts since the Kokturks period, reason, knowledge/wisdom and acting with them are the values that are prioritized, especially justice. A school of science was for-med in Samarkand during the reign of Emir Timur's grandson Ulug Bey, and science was given importance; Reputable people dealing with science and art have contributed to the history of the world in various fields and have been a guide. These values are also extremely important in Nevâyî.As in statesmanship, he acted with these principles in his writing activities, became the carrier of his own identity to the top, aimed to appe-al to large masses and to conquer hearts in various countries. In this way, his tools are primarily his language and his style, which is unique to his identity. Nevâyî writes in a simple language and a comfortable style as if he is chatting with himself, when he wants to rhetoric, in a pleasant and plea-sant style. As a writer, besides the pearls of words in the heart, the pen that arranges them and saves dreams, information and people from oblivion by writing them on the time page is important. Nevâyî takes a pen, not a spear, and conquers countries with it. First of all, there is the “levh ü kalem” and everything is recorded. The reason is that there are long sections about the pen in copyrights, it uses rich analogy elements related to the pen.Nevayi wrote dozens of couplets for the pen. In this study, we emp-hasize Nevâyî's thoughts on style, Turkish style and especially pen, through his works such as Muhâkemetü’l-Lugateyn, Ferhâd ü Şîrîn, Garā’ibü’s-Sıgar, Hayretü’l-Ebrar, Sedd-i İskenderî, Sebʻa-yi Seyyâr.","PeriodicalId":276633,"journal":{"name":"Uzbekistan: language and culture","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133927318","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although the temporal category is one of the most studied topics, there is no consensus on the amount and classifica-tion of grammatical forms. Also, some classifications do not cover all gram-matical forms. One of the reasons for these differences in classifications is the fact that the categories of tense and mood are inextricably linked in the Uzbek language. In addition, the term present-future tense, separa- ted in classifications, has been interpreted differently by linguists. In world linguistics, the classification of tense is based on three points of time: the moment of speech (S), the reference time (R) and the moment of event (E). The grammatical tense in the Uzbek language is classified based on the SRE relations in the article.","PeriodicalId":276633,"journal":{"name":"Uzbekistan: language and culture","volume":"114 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114356942","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Ikan dialect belongs to the Oghuz dialect, which was researched by the scientist Y.D. Polivanov, but the works were not conti- nued after him. Today, the flow of information is growing significantly, and there is a need to find new ways of storing, presenting, formalizing, organizing it as well as automatic processing. Therefore, there is a growing interest in a comprehensive knowledge base that can be used for various practical pur-poses. There is a great need for systems based on neural networks that ex-tract any information from the text without the human factor. In the middle of the twentieth century, along with the World Wide Web, Semantic Web started to appear, which provided additional tags that carried information about the semantics of elements in hypertext pages. An integral part of the semantic web is the concept of ontology, which is a lexical database con-sisting of a network of words.This article analyzes the origin of the term ontology, the ontological views of philosophers, the thesaurus and the concepts of ontology.
