It's necessary since underwater sensor nodes depend on this information for reliable communication. The main challenge over here would be that the environment underwater is naturally quite different from land, posing uncertainty in sound speed variations and hence more noise in the channel. Here, the Kalman filter and extended Kalman filtering methods are explored to minimize the localization errors. The system is prone to losses of food grains because of prevalent corruption among the officials serving the system and also due to physical losses during storage and transport. Blockchains have become a commonly used audit trail verification utility because of its inherent nature, that it is a distributed ledger for recording transactions. This makes it a key candidate to replace the current centralized system that exists for the tracking of commodities being distributed by the PDS. Like any centralized system the current centralized system can be sabotaged by the people in administration, as it relies heavily on trust on the central authority. In this paper we propose an intelligent scheme for tracking the commodities in PDS using IoT based sensors that monitor the arrival and dispatch of commodities and generate corresponding transactions. These transactions should be stored permanently to keep track of the commodities for which a decentralized Blockchain based system is used that continuously logs every valid transaction. As the amount of transactions increase so does the data to be stored on the blockchain, hence we propose a hierarchical blockchain approach where in transaction summaries of a local blockchain are recorded as transactions in a higher level blockchain after which the local blockchains can start afresh recording newer transactions only. This approach results in reduction in the amount of data to be stored on the blockchain. At the same time one can find aggregate information at a higher level which can be used to determine the supply demand ratio. Anyone can verify the current availability of the food grains throughout the distribution network of the PDS and track the commodities right from the network of warehouses to the end point sales-the fair price shops where the food grains are delivered to the consumers. This boil down the energy efficiency and fuel efficiency of the comparatively costlier EVs. Many methods for driving range extension like using range extenders requires reconfiguration of the vehicle power train and are not energy efficient. The paper proposes range extension by improving the energy efficiency of the vehicle with an optimal driving force and torque distribution control law. By using optimal distribution law, the energy utilized for achieving any desired speed can be minimized; thereby saving the fuel which can be used to go an extra mile. The driving force distribution law is formulated with the knowledge of the vehicle and wheel dynamics and the optimal law, realizing minimum energy consumption is obtained by applying particle swarm optimization. The optimal torque distribution is realized with the help of Kalman filter based observer for force estimation. The design of optimal law and optimal torque distribution with minimal energy consumption is verified with the help of a simulation study on a test vehicle. Even though four wheel drive has improved capability, during off-road conditions effective controlling is required when the vehicle is unable to move. This paper presents an algorithm called creep control. which drives each wheel independently by controlling the accelerator and brake automatically. This control reduces the driver's effort and also provides maneuverability during driving in different tough terrains. There by maintaining the traction and stability of the vehicle. Simulations is done using CarSIM software, to understand the behavior during Off-road driving Conditions. Nowadays there is a big need in designing a low power and low noise OTA to extend the life time of primary battery. This work proposes the design of amplifier for cardiac Implantable Device, which is used for monitoring the heart pulses with high gain, low noise and low power consumption the designing of low power OTA benefits from voltage to current conversion to achieve a very low power, low noise and high gain for IMD. There is a need for secure and reliable measures to be taken to prevent loss of data, authentication problems and other security issues. This paper discusses steps followed to set up a private cloud using an open source software platform, OpenStack. Setting up the private cloud not only ensures the privacy as it eliminates the involvement of a third party cloud service provider but also provides us with a cheaper alternative. A Denial of Service (DoS) attack is a type of security attack where in the main aim is to overload the machine making it inaccessible to legitimate users. To assess DoS attack, we develop a web application running on one of the instances of our cloud. We analyze the DoS attack on this application using a DoS algorithm running on one of the instances in cloud. The performance of the cloud under the attack and without the attack is analyzed and conclusions about the risks involved are drawn. Verification process checks the design for agreement with the specifications and reports any discrepancies & bugs. This can be achieved by scripting the assertion coverage to the design. In semiconductor industry power dissipation is a critical issue in most of the System-on-Chips (SOCs) designs. In past, power to any RTL design were made at the physical implementation stages. As on those days total number of cells per chip were lesser. But now a days due to the entire system on chip the number of cells per chip has been increased, So the power implementation cannot be done manually that is by connecting the power pins to the power supplies, so in order to overcome this problem power implementation can be done by introducing the power intent to the design which helps in the reduction of the power. This can be achieved by applying Unified Power Format to the SOCs design and the design power reduction is verified by writing the low power coverage to it. Unified power format is an IEEE 1801 standard format which act as a power intent to any RTL design. VCS is a synopsys tool used for writing the design code and for debugging the code. Assertion coverage results and low power coverage result reports are obtained by generating the report files. This paper explains about the verification by using assertion coverage which helps in early detection of bugs and also reduces the time consumption. Power consumption has been reduced and verified by low power coverage to the design. Here 3 D printed mold is used in comparison to SU 8 mold used generally. This method is less costly, easier to implement due to elimination of use of clean room facility. The work also focuses on optimizing parameters for efficient micro mixer design. The parameters studied for their effect on mixing are depth of micro channel, width of micro channel, design of micromixer, curvature of circular micro mixer, angle of Y channel inlets and effect of diffusion coefficient of fluid on mixing. The finding is that deep, less width microchannel with curvature of about 550 μm are more efficient for mixing. The proposed design in present work with a narrow channel in major sub channel of asymmetric circular micromixer is more efficient in mixing. The need for circular micromixer is more important for fluids with lower diffusion coefficient. A increased activity in the intelligent control methods consisting artificial neural networks (ANN) and fuzzy have made them suitable for SRM applications. This paper presents a study of different controllers for switch reluctance motor. The stator current and flux are estimated using ANN Technique. The ANN controller uses a switching table and vector control method to generate gating signals. MATLAB/Simulink is used for fixed parameters of SRM. India is the country more than 70% of the people depends on agriculture. So, the farming in India should be innovative to moderate the hard work of the agriculturalists. Numerous amount of procedures are accomplished in the farming field like sowing, hoeing, weed cutting, cultivating etc. Very basic and important maneuver is sowing, ploughing, weed removal. But the current approaches of sowing, ploughing and plant cutting are challenging. The tools used for seed sowing are problematic and troublesome has it requires more man power. Hence, there is a necessity to advance the equipment which will decrease the efforts of the agriculturalists. The proposed system using an Agribot goals to seed at specific locations with definite space between two seeds and positions while seeding. The robotic arm helps in unwanted plant elimination. The heart of the proposed system is microcontroller which controls the entire operation.
