With the aim in mind, three sort of clay collected from Konya region were studied. They were applied in the way of slips onto the plates made up of low degree red mud and cast mud whose baked color is white. The clays were made to have characteristic by adding % 30-60 melting Cinnabar and Borax. Lined plates were baked in an electrical oven, and for the ones that responded positively, raku and sagar baking techniques were applied. Kil kolayca şekillenebilmesinden dolayı, milyonlarca yıl süren jeolojik değişim sonucunda oluşan dünya üzerinde yaklaşık yirmi bin yıllık serüveni olan insanoğlunun çeşitli amaçlar için ilk olarak kullandığı birkaç malzemeden biri olmuştur. Seramik sanatının ve endüstrisinin bu vazgeçilmez hammaddesi, niteliklerine bağlı olarak sanatçılara ve tasarımcılara alışılmışın dışında olanaklar sunmaktadır. Seramik sanatçıları, kilin avuçları içinde kolayca biçimlenebilmesinin vereceği hazla sanatçı kişiliklerini ifade ederlerken, seramik tasarımcıları daha çok bilinçli olmak ve kullanım kolaylıklarını düşünmek durumundadırlar. Seramik kili, yaratıcı düşünceyi anında görünür hale getirmek için son derece ideal bir malzemedir. Kil ile yapılan şekillendirme ve renklendirme öylesine sınırsızdır ki, seramik sanatçısı bu sonsuzluğun içinde kaybolmadan kendini anlatabilmek için seramik bilim alanının küçük bir kolundan yakaladığı zenginliğe yönelmesi gerekir. Bu, kimi sanatçı için çarkta çalışmak, kimisi için çamuru elle şekillendirmek, kimisi için de çanak yapmak olabilir (Dizdar, 1996: 4). Also, it is an ancient art branch that comes out people’s need for ornamentation and to protect themselves against the climate and the outer impacts. Therefore; in most parts of Anatolia, it is possible to encounter the handknitting which takes place in the trational handcrafts as a branch of knitting. Nowdays, although socks and bootees knitting has been decreased as a result of mechanisation, the women of Isparta region still continue it in order to make use of their spare time, protect the climate effects, to support the family economy and to from the girls dower. In this work, the 12 pieces of woman bootees, 8 pieces of women socks, 2 pieces man socks and 1 pieces of child socks in the Culture House of Isparta Hand-in Hand Association have been handled. The knitting tecniques, the used tools, colour, the ornoment and pattern desing features have been examined and shown by photos. Our Traditional Arts, as part of our cultural values, have reached the present day with the reflection on art. The unique art of a nation, constitutes the cultural level of people and symbols of social life. Decorative arts were born and developed in this sense until today. The art of illumination, as a part of decorative arts, shows developments and changes in the process through the centuries. The subject of the present study is the illuminated pages and binders of the Koran with the date 1314 -15 and inventory number “12” in Konya Mevlana Museum. According to the information given on the colophon page of the Koran, it was written by Katip İsmail b. Yusuf in Konya for Halil b. Mahmud from Karamanlı Beyler in the date of H.724 / M.1314-15 and illuminated by Yakup b. Gazi el-Konevî. Both the calligraphy and the illumination of the Koran are important in terms of enlightening the course of history of illumination and reflecting the features of that period. As of it was written, it has been a work of the Beyliks and shown similar styles with the understanding of retro arts of the period, which belongs to the post Seljuk period. The work was examined in terms of motifs, patterns and stylistic features and some information was given about stylistic features that were effective in its design. There is special situation of Seljukian ceramic art in this accumulation which is including different duration, techniques, style and schools. This art which is keep heritage of early Islam ceramic art going not only shelter previous discovery and developments but also provide appearance a great number of new techniques and practices, Central Asia Turk culture tradition piece together with materials of ceramic and accommodate school which is call as Seljukian style in Islam geopraphy. Products of this school which was existed at territory of especially Persia, Khorassan, Anatolia and Syria between 11. – 13. Century was arised on art production level change from ceramic production pot. Various techniques like minai, luster, silhouette and under glaze painting, mould decoration, monokrom glazed, splashed ware and others were performed among ceramics and tiles which were produced in Seljukian geopraphy in this period. Unfortunatle just under glaze painting was took in next times like single dekor tekniks, others was abandoned in Anatolia history. Seljukian situation of our history occur poorly in practical schedule at art schools today. This situation cause not only poorly our technique various but also one way development of aesthetics value and under glaze painting seems as the “single tile techniqs”. Ceramic techniques of Seljukian period will be investigated with samples and contribution of this school to nowadays ceramic education will be arranged.
