Design features at re-equipment of the internal combustion engine working on diesel fuel for its steady work on natural gas are specified. A description of the design scheme for the simultaneous generation of thermal and electrical energy when operating power machines with a capacity of 100 KW and 200 KW is proposed. The composition and physico-chemical properties of the main fuel for the operation of the cogeneration plant were obtained and refined. It is necessary to develop a database for solving this problem that includes the determination of the main elements of transformer substations and power lines, structuring their parameters for calculating the criteria of evaluating the effectiveness of the decision to select power equipment. The conceptual model of a transformer substation and power transmission line was developed on the basis of the analysis of the subject area, the main elements and their properties were determined. A logical and physical model based on a relational database-management system was developed. The received models can be used for develop a database, a program for calculation of the criteria for evaluating the efficiency of the decision on the select of the power equipment. The article provides the characteristics of the blocks, which simulate these or those aggregates in a real microgrid. Besides, the article considers the creation of a SCADA system and a special control code. The main problem of microgrids with renewable energy sources is associated with the instability of power generation in the RES-based plants due to weather changes. The choice of meteorological stations depended on the differences of their latitude location, their position in the zone of the off-grid power supply, available data in different reference books on solar potential of the stations under study and presence of power plants located in different latitude zones using power resources for energy generation. The Sakha Republic (Yakutia) corresponded to these conditions. The comparative analysis of the initial values of solar potential showed that deviations amounted to 5–10%. The authors compared the results of recalculation of solar radiation values on the inclined surface using two approaches and showed the advantages of these approaches. They also investigated how the application of different approaches affected the optimal power of solar panel plants and calculated the payback periods of their construction. The payback period of the existing solar panel plants on the territory of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) was compared with the calculated one. The application of different methodological approaches at different stages of rationale of solar panel plant construction was efficient for the power supply of off-grid consumers. It was proved that a simplified approach was reasonable for investigations of economic viability of power potential use on the territory under study. A shared use of land, infrastructure and maintenance can both reduce the solar electricity price and boost new infrastructure projects by supplying the demanded power and acceleration of investment return. We considered the possible technical, economic and social benefits of PV integration in railroads and powerlines. Some of the conclusions could be also expanded to other linear structures, demanding land alienation (pipe lines, highways, etc.). Own energy generation could significantly reduce the investment return period of such infrastructure. A possibility of getting high DC voltages in PV systems directly could be the most demanded in the 1.5 and 3 kVDC powered railroads. Considering this factor, the Republic of Tajikistan is involved in the development of RES. In this case, analysis, calculation and evaluation of RES resources of the Republic of Tajikistan are considered in this paper. After that, the analysis calculations to clarify the potential of capacity of renewable energy on the territory of the country has been carried out. Further, the potential of renewable energy in the Republic of Tajikistan was assessed. After the evaluation of RES, the calculation was carried out to determine the gross, technical and economic potential of RES in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. It was determined that the country has great opportunities for using renewable energy. Regulated electric drive is becoming increasingly widespread for energy savings on pump units. It is necessary to take into account the specific characteristics of electric machines used in melioration. The corresponding analytical dependences have been obtained for the appropriate control of the technological process of water moving and energy supplying.
