Abstract

The theoretical principles of energy saving ways in the melioration and irrigation systems have been considered. Regulated electric drive is becoming increasingly widespread for energy savings on pump units. It is necessary to take into account the specific characteristics of electric machines used in melioration. The corresponding analytical dependences have been obtained for the appropriate control of the technological process of water moving and energy supplying. The analysis of the optimization objective function and the efficiency coefficients of the individual elements, as well as a general indicator of the effectiveness of the system allowed the authors to find the optimal parameters of the system and to determine the energy saving modes of operation.
