Design features at re-equipment of the internal combustion engine working on diesel fuel for its steady work on natural gas are specified. A description of the design scheme for the simultaneous generation of thermal and electrical energy when operating power machines with a capacity of 100 KW and 200 KW is proposed. The composition and physico-chemical properties of the main fuel for the operation of the cogeneration plant were obtained and refined.
