The mathematical modeling of a developed system has been carried out. The parameters of the control system transfer function have been calculated. The system simulation modeling without and with perturbation actions and with the use of the proportional-plus-integral control law has been implemented. The universal functional unit has been developed in the control program. This unit will allow controlling the pumps of a random number and with random power circuit. The research of distribution and size of streams was accomplished with a method of simulation of its movement in air by blowing of the railway train over a stream of air. To conduct a research, we built the models of full size railway equipment and set up the environment parameters to obtain plausible results. The simulation results reflect a numerical modeling data of the values of air flow velocities along the side wall of the train. We have estimated the utilizing possibility of air streams by the installation of wind turbines along the railway tracks. With this goal we calculated the generated electric energy received by wind turbines from natural movement of air masses and from a passing train. The calculations proved the possibility of practical application of the results, obtained by modeling, and calculated the amount of electrical energy that is supposed to be used for power supply of railway facilities, or to implement backup power sources in emergency situations for the uninterrupted operation of signaling equipment, thereby increasing the safety of the rolling train. In this paper, several commonly used VSC-based high-power energy consumer topologies are presented and discussed, including the neutral-point-clamped (NPC), flying-capacitor (FC), cascaded H-bridge (CHB) and modular multilevel converters (MMC). A list of available industrial VSC-based high-power energy consumers is included. The most common and relevant energy applications of these converters are provided. At last, the directions of their future development are addressed. The existing models for estimating electricity losses do not take into account the consequences of operating an overhead line. The factor of the reduction of the section of the wire of the overhead line during operation is taken into account. The dependence of the technical component of the losses of electric energy, the amount of destruction of the wire of the overhead power transmission line as a result of the influence on the electric arc wire, the values of the arc fault current and the arc length are determined. A neural regulator is developed in Matlab-Simulink. This research compares application possibilities of a neural network regulator and an ordinary P-regulator. It also addresses the design process of a neural controller based on existing traditional regulators. During synthesis procedure, the neural regulator for stabilizing the speed of linear motion and compensation vibration occurring in the elastic elements of lathe machine’s feed drive is proposed. In this article several algorithms as Moller, Levenberg-Marquardt, Shelb-Ribira, gradient descent for training the neural regulator are compared. The necessary aspect in such systems’ projecting and scheduling is the assessment of their reliability. However, a number of problems with a stochastic character of natural recourses appears during the reliability analysis of electric installations with renewable energy sources. The photovoltaic solar panels functioning in self-contained systems depend on solar radiation. A theoretical frequency multimatrix method is presented in this article allowing to consider the changes of solar radiation and modes of operations with system element failures. The topological research of the solar-diesel power installation allows one to create a matrix of logical relations between failures, operations and accidents, fixing what kind of failures corresponds to each mode of operation for each condition of solar radiation. The optimization criteria are determined by the operating conditions of the plant including the availability of waste energy and natural sources of fuel. Another requirement for power sources is the preservation of a given stock of static stability for active power. In the implementation of optimization measures, constantly changing load on generators active and reactive power that entails a change in maximum electromagnetic power of the machine. This article describes the algorithm of limitations on the static stability of synchronous generators in determining the optimal active and reactive power of its own sources of distributed generation in the power supply system of the industrial enterprise of iron works. The stability analysis was carried out with the help of the original software by the example of an industrial power supply system of a complex configuration with its own power stations having primary engines of various kinds. The considered state observer uses the angular acceleration of a wind turbine and the generator reaction torque as input parameters taking into account rotor inertia in order to implement the aerodynamic torque estimator. This technique is illustrated by a simulated example and compared with a case when the aerodynamic torque is known. One of the assumptions is the supposition of in-phase operation of all EPS generators in the process of the previous SC mode and in the process of SC. At present time, due to the exacerbations of the problem of ensuring compliance, installed in the EPS of electrical equipment with continuously increasing levels of SC currents, the requirements to the accuracy of calculation SC currents are toughened. The EMTP-RV (Powersys) program was used to analyze the influence of out-of-phase SG on the SC current. The calculation of SC was performed for a generator operating in parallel with the electric power system. As initial data, the parameters of synchronous hydro generators of the electric power system of the Republic of Tajikistan were used. An estimate is obtained from the influence of out-of-phase synchronous generators on the magnitude of the total and the periodic component of the SC current.
