The experience of systematization of phraseological units in diachrony based on a corpus approach.86This thesis has two main objectives. The first is descriptive: using the flourishing methodology of corpus linguistics, and a corpus of Written Texts of 18th-21th centuries, it aims to describe the development of German phraseology, in particular in relation to its semantic and structural specificity. The description confirms the phraseological specificity of German but shows that not all of this can be ascribed to semantic or structural factors. The second objective of this thesis is therefore explanatory: given the differences evident between the phraseological units, and by means of a diachronic comparison, it asks how the phraseological system has developed in relation to the certain historical period. The research is closely connected with the definition of peculiarities of quantitative and qualitative development phraseological units of German as one of the most important intralingual factor. The usage of this approach can give a complete picture of peculiarities of phraseological system of German. Intra- and extralingual factors relevant for formation of phraseological units of German have been determined.The paper suggests a corpus-based approach to the study of German phraseology, which consistsin identification of intra- and extralingual factors relevant for the formation of phraseological system of German. The criteria for establishing the semantic or structural specificity of phraseology have been defined. Historical and genetic analyses of phraseological units have been determined.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123805432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The application of Lacunae Theory in translation theory consists in its complementing of the contentious Theory of Equivalence. The equivalence relation in the framework of a context is specified by its approximal character. What is approximal here is merely the semantic dimension of a lacuna. Here, lacuna and equivalence are two sides of the same coin, with the lacuna serving as the starting point for the semantic assessment of an equivalence relation.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117263756","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Usually three genders are defined in German: masculine, feminine, and neuter. However, there is also a distinctive Common gender, and many Epicenes can be found in German as well. Moreover, an additional Dubium, Incertain or Diverse gender may be distinguishable among up to six genders. Word endings in and by themselves don`t reveal grammatical gender thoroughly within current German. In addition, you have to consider set theoretical aspects, intersections and certain propositional connectives. Different aspects of German nouns, selected distinctions and relations between gender inherence and grammatical German gender on the other hand are addressed here from a systematic point of view.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122511350","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The report focuses on the skills of the seminar participants that were trained by the application of a dialogical intermedial methodology: first and foremost, critical thinking and creativityin dealing with literature and photography.The specific aim of the project was to enable the students to engage creatively and aesthetically with the culture of remembrance in the Ukrainian capital and to expand this through an intermedial perspective.The search for traces of the past in the present face of the city and its literary and photographic reappraisal shaped the concept of the seminar, which consisted of four sections: 1) A theoretical introduction to the relationship between literature and photography from an intermedial perspective offered by lecturers; 2) A workshop on the theory and practice of urban photography led by a Kiev photographer; 3) Consolidation of the stimuli arising from the seminar through photo editing and text production by the seminar participants; 4) Publication of the seminar participants' creations in a bilingual book (Ukrainian-German).This experience showed that courses can be successfully constructed and carried out starting from a transmedial view of literature.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133567446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Differences in the23interpretation of the academic genre \"the report\" as an oral report at a seminar in the German academic tradition and as a type of written speech of greater volume in the Ukrainian educational tradition (term paper) were considered. It is noted that the term “report” is borrowed from Latin in both languages, but the genre “report” in academic speech shows different characteristics in volume and in the quality “oral / written form”, which in German tradition is a voiced form of writing based paper with the use of nonverbal resources of speaking and modern presentation techniques (visual: pictures, photos, fragments of the movie and audio tools), which demonstrates a hybrid form of the academic genre “report”. The genre of academic writing “abstract” is represented by a number of varieties in both Ukrainian and German traditions of academic speech, but in German it has several designations for these varieties, and in Ukrainian we use one term “annotation (summary)”, which combines all varieties in one generic concept as a philosophical term. An annotation to a scientific conference, an annotation to a scientific article, bachelor's andmaster's thesis, dissertation, monograph, textbook, encyclopedia, reference book, fiction book for sale on the Internet or for sale in a bookstore are considered. However, for all types of genres of academic writing and for types, considered in the proposed article, the characteristic features of scientific style are significant: transparency and brevity of structure (introduction, main part, final part), the high degree of informative speech together with the concise form, the use of the standards of literary language, use of terms and of professional vocabulary, impersonality, logical form of speech, сonsistency of the content expression.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133865825","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During this period, the concrete foundation for German language, culture, geography, translation training and comparative linguistics was formed in our country and thousands of specialists for German studieswere born. Undoubtedly, this work has contributed to the development of bilateral relations and the achievement of a comprehensive partnership.Assessing and research the accumulated experience of German as foreign language Study in Mongolia, and its’ current trends will help guide future implementation. In the current foreign language training in Mongolia, “The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching and assessment” been successfully implemented and are being creatively used in the teaching and learning methodology. The layout of guidebooks concerns the architectonic of the book and serves as a sign of theme, functions and text reception situation. The materiality as a feature of text correlates with the holistic understanding of style (style as a complex of elements considered at different text levels). In texts with a combination of linguistic and graphic elements (visual or polycode texts), graphic elements do not violate the semantic coherence of the text and enhance the impact on the recipient.\u0000The selected material, German zoo guidebooks of the Vienna, Berlin, Hanover and Leipzig zoos (from 1951 to 2013, 26 exemplars), is particularly interesting in view of the research situation. German zoo guidebooks are characterized by the diversity of formats that are non-verbal symptoms of changes in the zoo. Various formats (narrowed, extended, portrait, landscape format) of German zoo guidebooks appear as non-verbal symptoms of the anniversary of the founding and conceptual changes of the zoo; through the format, even in the absence of language elements and photos on the cover, it is possible to set the years that are historically important in the formation of the zoo. The dominance of the image over the linguistic elements on the cover performs an attractive function and forms the expectation of a large number of photos in the text of the zoo guidebooks. Important elements of the cover are the logo as a distinctive sign of the zoo and collocations. The cover creates the first impression not only about the guide, but also the zoo (guide as information tool about the institution), motivates to buy a guide and visit the zoo, so the importance of language and graphics of guide covers is difficult to overestimate. The preferred use of the name “Zooführer” instead of “Führer” emphasizes the author's identification of the zoo guidebook genre.","PeriodicalId":262521,"journal":{"name":"Germanistik in der ukraine","volume":"216 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128065179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
