Modern technologies, such as the building information modeling (BIM), are a profound driving factor to these changes. This research aims at identifying the industry expectation and satisfaction for construction graduates and finding an appropriate pedagogical approach. This paper began with a retrospective review on the construction education evolution; then analyzed five exemplar undergraduate construction programs within the U.S. Associated Schools of Construction (ASC); and identified three critical areas in current construction education which are information technology, collaborative leadership and practical innovation. An approach of BIM-enhanced team-based learning (TBL) was discussed to effectively satisfy both construction industry demands and student feature careers. Several techniques have been used to automatically analyze the student's essays, but natural language processing is not yet ready to completely solve the task. We propose a solution, for the automated support to answers grading, where the students' peer assessment is checked against the teacher's marking, while such teacher's marking has to be performed on only a subset of the answers (so relieving the teacher by at least a part of the marking task). Our aim is twofold: 1) to make grading more effective by propagating the teacher's assessments through the network of peer assessments (so to maintain a progressively improved evaluations of the peer assessments precision and make them more likely to be used for final grading); 2) to suggest iteratively the teacher with the next most informative essays to grade (respect to the network, that is one of the answers whose teacher's mark will inject most information into the network and make the system better able to deduce the rest of the grades. To this aim we have used a very simple Bayesian model of peers and peer assessment, and we have built a web-based system to support the teacher. We show the present state of the model and its implementation. It examines a harmonious and supporting group learning through the construction of teachers'community of practice. Education reform in the era of knowledge economy requires teachers to be education practitioners, researchers, and innovators. Teacher learning is not only of practical importance but also of theoretical importance to teachers and teacher educators. The proposal of \"Community of Practice\" (Lave & Wenger, 1991) opens up a new way for teacher learning and professional growth. In their book Situated Learning: Legitimate Peripheral Participation (1991), Lave and Wenger propose that harmonious atmosphere of group learning is created through the construction of teachers' community of practice. In the community of practice, learning is a process of participation in the social practices, requiring the participants to adapt to the social relationships in the professional community. Based on the theory of community of practice, the study aims to obtain a better understanding of teacher learning in community of practice by adopting a qualitative research method of making in-depth investigation of university EFL teachers in southwest China. Specifically, three questions are intended to be answered in this study: (1) how do university EFL teachers understand teacher learning and community of practice? (2) how do university EFL teachers undertake teacher learning in community of practice? and what do university EFL teachers learn through community of practice? and (3) what mechanism of action does the community of practice have? The investigation is conducted among three groups of EFL teachers at different professional development level in a community of practice. The study adopts a qualitative-interpretive approach, so the main method adopted in the study is ethnography. Data are collected mainly through teacher interviews, teacher meetings, observations, narrative inquiry, and case study. By using coding framework and thematic analysis, some key words and key incidents have been elicited to help us to understand how the teachers learn. The results indicate that teacher support groups, mentoring, exchange visits, overseas training, and study salons are currently main models of teacher learning in community of practice. FCMs are fuzzy signed digraphs with feedbacks, and they can model the events, values, goals as a collection of concepts by forging a causal link between these concepts. In this study, the concepts of the FCM model is developed by the help of the academics, then the suggested FCMs of each academic is aggregated to build the final FCM to model the control engineering educational critical success factors. Afterwards the model is coded in Matlab to study four scenarios via different simulations. In particular, the analysis is focused on a geometry problem characterized by four graphical solutions. The data gathered through several experiments have allowed us to find interesting relationships between answers and testers' performance (especially with regard to time spent watching the available options and gaze wavering between the two most plausible choices), as well as to identify otherwise hidden similarities among testers themselves. The aim of these seminars was the training of prospective engineering educators in the use of the dynamic open-source software GeoGebra via simulation construction. According to the results, the students showed off the added value of the seminar and the software in their specialty of study. Furthermore, it seems that the possibilities of Geogebra are especially useful for constructions and simulations.
