The author of the article sets himself the task not only to identify the purpose of teaching oral speech, but also to offer techniques to help overcome the difficulties associated with certain motivational problems, such as: the manifestation of shyness, fear of making a mistake, insufficient knowledge of lexical units, misunderstanding of the speech task. The author shares his opinion on the effectiveness of generally accepted methods of teaching oral speech of the Chinese language and offers practical tools aimed at expanding the lexical stock, developing communication skills, working out the studied material and using it in conversational practice. The hypothesis of this article is expressed in the assumption that the difficulties of learning oral speech are overcome by increasing the vocabulary, developing the skills of simple monologue and dialogic speech, as well as creating a comfortable educational environment. Based on the experience of conducting an oral Chinese course, frequent problems of university students are: inability to use additional sources, fear of unfamiliar vocabulary. On the one hand, theoretical studies of the issue are taken as a basis, and on the other hand, the practical understanding of media literacy that has developed among young people and is reflected here as a result of a sociological survey of schoolchildren aged 10-18 and students aged 18-29. In contemporary studies there is a certain lack of a single definition for media literacy and an integrated approach to this concept from the point of view of interdisciplinary research is in demand. Generally, media literacy include abilities to read and write; to distinguish fake from the truth and check facts; to distinguish opinions from facts; to recognize the emotional background of the message; to think critically; to evaluate the message in terms of the opposition «good – bad». {"title":"Video Materials in Teaching the Specialty Language at the University","authors":"D. One of the strategies for expanding the vocabulary of students is the use of English-language video materials devoted to the topics studied and lexically echoing them. The object of the study is the influence of English-language video materials with a certain set of words and notions as one of the tools for expanding vocabulary. The hypothesis was that the effectiveness of using this type of educational work to expand the vocabulary of students. The experiment was conducted in groups studying the specialty language. The authors of the study selected experimental and control groups, and a preliminary test was conducted before the experiment. After the course, students were offered a post-test, which consisted in checking students' vocabulary in control and experimental groups and an oral interview based on the results of training. The main conclusions of the study are: the results of the experiment show that the use of specially selected video materials has a positive impact on the development of special vocabulary. The final conversation of the teachers with the students of the experimental groups revealed a high level of satisfaction with the course and significant signs of an increase in motivation to further study the language of the specialty. Amirkhan). In order to assess socio-psychological distress and destructive behavior, an express assessment map was developed, including a study of socio-environmental (social distress, social maladjustment, sustained social isolation) and psychological markers (accentuated features of age-related personality development, destructive communication/aggression, psychological maladjustment, autoaggression). Thanks to the correlation analysis carried out according to the r-Spearman criterion, it was possible to establish the essential interrelations of socio-environmental markers of emotional distress of adolescents with coping strategies. As a result of the conducted research, it was found that the reaction of adolescents to socio-environmental distress is associated with the ability to overcome difficult life periods. With the ability of a teenager to independently resolve existing difficulties or turn to social support, it is easier for a teenager to endure external disharmony, which allows him to maintain emotional stability. In conditions when a teenager does not have constructive ways of coping and is not ready to tell others about his experiences, social distress is aggravated by emotional disharmony, which leads to the development of stable social isolation and autoaggression. The object of the study was the reading culture and motivation for reading of students from grades 5 to 11. The main research methods were questionnaires and analysis of the results obtained. The analysis of the survey results allowed us to establish the following: reading retains its importance and relevance for the younger generation. At the same time, it is necessary to note a number of important trends that are of great importance in the context of studying the processes of formation of motivation to read Among the identified trends: changes in the frequency and duration of reading, changes in genre preferences towards mass literature, the tendency of respondents to study works in short or adapted versions, the limitation of extracurricular reading to works subjectively interesting to schoolchildren. One of the key problems of the study was the question of the sincerity of the respondents. The results of the study can be applied in the process of literary education of schoolchildren in the formation of internal motivation to read. The subject of the study is the process of distance learning organisation in higher education institute during the period of COVID-19 restrictive measures. The Churapchinsky State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport is one of the first higher education institutions located in a rural environment, with more than 90% of its students coming from the heritage and districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The specifics of higher education institute imply a large volume of practical training sessions and daily training in selected sports in equipped sports facilities. The distance learning format has made significant adjustments to the content and forms of practical training, in particular student sports training. A total of 320 full-time and part-time students from 7 areas of study took part in the survey. The results revealed the degree of students' readiness for the transition to distance learning, assessment of the possibility of full training for credit-examination session and state final attestation, features of practical training in elective courses of physical education and sports disciplines, the level of satisfaction, advantages and disadvantages in the organization of distance learning in higher education institution. The results of the study can be used to improve the organisation of distance learning in higher education institutions, while maintaining the quality and accessibility of the educational process. The novelty of the study lies in the investigation of the organisation of the distance learning format and the attitudes towards it of the students of a physical education institution located in a rural area. Socio-pedagogical challenges to modern domestic education are generated by global changes in society, which cause the need for transformations not only in education, but also in related fields and institutions (culture, management, family, etc.). Accordingly, all this requires its own normative and legal understanding and registration not only in the educational process, but also in all spheres of life. The main theoretical and methodological approaches to the consideration of topical issues of domestic education in the context of state policy are systemic and complex. The state policy demonstrates an active and systematic building of the educational process: the studies of the most important concepts, the relationship with the challenges of modernity, the design of the future of today's children for new changing conditions are updated, the line of building a safe life for young generations is clearly traced. The substantive and value foundations of upbringing, the principle of a unified system of upbringing and education are legislated, the state is obliged to create conditions for self-determination and socialization that contribute to the upbringing of the best moral and civic qualities in children. The new mechanism of the organization of educational work includes work programs of education and a calendar plan of educational work. The subject of the study is the study of the role of the development of an educational route in the process of training artistic personnel. The hypothesis of the study is that in order to successfully achieve pedagogical goals in working with Chinese students, it is necessary to take into account the options for building individual educational routes in Chinese universities. It also substantiates the need for drawing up educational routes in art universities, taking into account the ethnocultural and ethnopsychological characteristics of Chinese-speaking students, which is the key to the development of individuality in the profession and subsequent adaptation to the realities of their native country. Similar studies have not been undertaken in Russian before in relation to students from China studying in a modern Russian university specializing in artistic specialties. The following research methods were used to solve the tasks and verify the hypothesis put forward: theoretical analysis of philosophical, psychological, pedagogical, special, reference literature on the research problem and generalization of scientific ideas and views; survey (interviewing); conversation, direct and indirect observation. Scientific novelty. The basis of the educational model of teaching designers at the HSE School of Design is the web resource of the HSE School of Design, which combines the \"Map of Creative Competencies\", \"Student Portfolio\" and \"Design Laboratory\". The HSE considers the Design Laboratory as a creative platform for conducting students' industrial practice and a platform for solving practice-oriented tasks of the digital society. Practical significance. A brief analysis of the basics of two educational models is given: the Bauhaus (Germany, Weimar, 1923) and the HSE School of Design (Russia, Moscow, 2021). Results. This approach is based on the mutual integration of the subject fields of the three sciences – pedagogy, history and jurisprudence.   Scientific novelty is considered by us based on the priority of introducing into scientific circulation previously unexplored factual material of the primary source. The presented work is one of the first attempts to reveal the historical and pedagogical heritage of the St. Petersburg Law Society (its penitentiary Commission) in preparation for the ivth International Prison Congress held in St. Petersburg in 1890, to determine the role of this commission in the theoretical justification of the need to train prison staff in Russia.The appeal to the activities of the penitentiary commission of the St. Petersburg Law Society, which were not previously studied by teachers–researchers in 1890, allows us to actualize the issues of the past, to see from new sides the activities of famous Russian scientists (for example, the chairman of the penitentiary commission - I. Ya.
