The world is very vulnerable to global pandemics. This chapter aims to set up several innovation-based and lateral thinking business strategies to make firms rooted in chaordism perform better in disruptive situations. In this chapter, the author will show some mixed managerial-marketing techniques to generate ideas. It explains how research in the field has evolved and describes context conditions such as uncertainty, crisis, and chaos, which provide fertile grounds for scenario planning. A bibliometric analysis is presented to illustrate the increase in the study of scenario planning as a tool to deal with uncertainty. Examples from scenario planning around the world are introduced to show its global application and potential. The practices framed in the Sustainable Development Goals are more current than ever, given the need to respond to the demands imposed by healthcare, while humanity's battle against the virus is taking place. This chapter details the results found in a case study investigation in a Colombian organization of the textile sector that accesses the national and international market. Its objective was to determine the values of the culture that have guided the management of the company during the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing them to achieve economic and social sustainability. In this chapter, the authors briefly discuss Swvl's vision, history, the services Swvl provides, and Swvl team's values. Furthermore, they examine the various optimization problems at Swvl from both the demand and supply perspective, common problems' features, a typical research project lifecycle at Swvl, and how they apply decision sciences to their problems at Swvl. Examples of such decision sciences applications include mathematical modeling, data analytics, and graph algorithms. Swvl operates at a very large scale and continues to grow eminently, creating challenging, complex, and interesting problems faced every day. In an organization, Islam stresses the cooperation and sense of collectiveness among the employees, as in fact, the religion cannot be practiced in separation. The collective efforts of people in a work situation should be aimed at achieving a certain goal since organizations are composed of very distinct people who are each of unique character and contribute in a particular way based on cultural diversity. In order to create an ethical organization culture that provides a fair treatment to all employees, Islamic leadership principles would become the best method for realizing it. Many verses in the Al-Quran explains justice and honesty in trade as well as courtesy and fairness in employment.
