Encryption mechanisms relying on static key structure, such as WEP (802.11) and TKIP (802.1x), are vulnerable to key cracking by capturing wireless packets. Although new standards have been developed to fulfill this gap, there is still a lack of a stable security protocol. In this paper, we present a light-weight and solid i-key encryption protocol to enhance the security of wireless communication. With this dynamic re-keying mechanism, only valid clients can decrypt the ciphertext and reveal the message by using the unique secret i-key they have to prevent the sensitive data from being accessed by unauthorized recipients. In addition, test results indicate that i-key protocol can perform efficiently in different wireless environment.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126596418","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The strategy is based on the uncertainty and disturbance estimator (UDE). Both cases with known and unknown delay are considered. In the case of an unknown time delay, the term with the delay is treated as an additional disturbance to the system. Both nonlinear and linear control algorithms are proposed. The algorithms show excellent tracking and disturbance rejection performance. Simulations are given to show the effectiveness of the UDE-based control. The basics are in a model of data prebuffering based system enhancement for locating and tracking users inside the buildings. The developed framework joins the concepts of location and user tracking as an extension for a new information system. The framework uses a WiFi network infrastructure to let a mobile device determine its indoor position. User location is used for data prebuffering and pushing information from server to user's PDA. All server data is saved as artifacts (together) with its position information in building. The accessing of prebuffered data on mobile device can highly improve response time needed to view large multimedia data. I tested our solution on created facility management information system with testing collection of about hundred large size artifacts. On mobile device the SQL Server CE database is used as a cache. All data artifacts are transferred from PDPT Server database to mobile embedded device database throw secured wireless connection standard EAP-TLS.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131104227","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a function through which PCs and other Internet connected equipments and devices are remotely woken up from sleeping states when they need to work. This paper presents a novel implementation of the Wake on LAN function. The differential equation for the potential of TM field is found from the Maxwell equations. This equation is solved with help of method, developed in our earlier articles [1–3], [6–7]. The analytical expressions for the magnetic and electric vectors of the TM field are found in the region of weak interaction between the signal wave and the modulation wave in the first approximation for small modulation indexes of the insert. The frequency of strong (resonance) interaction between the signal wave and the modulation wave is expressed in an analytic form.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133664829","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The matrix equation is usually solved by using Gauss Elimination (GE). This paper studies in depth the GE from a circuit theory point of view. It results that each step of GE constitutes a modification of the assigned circuit. The forward elimination can be considered as a successive removal of the independent nodes by introducing voltage-controlled current sources, while back substitution leads to independent elementary circuits. The whole procedure can be systematically applied; in this way, given a circuit, it is possible to switch to a modified circuit, by means of circuital transformations corresponding to mathematical ones. Similar approach can be used also when the mesh analysis is used to solve a circuit. In this case the forward elimination can be considered as a successive removal of the independent meshes by introducing current-controlled voltage sources.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"127 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132333932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies indicate that in a dynamic state such as walking, coordination of axial segments head, thorax, and pelvis is disrupted in pathologic conditions. In recent years goniometry and cinematography have been widely used to measure active or passive range of motion (ROM) in asymptomatic adults. The aim of this investigation is designing and implementing a new method for estimating the level of impairment in stability of segment and the improvement after treatment by measuring quality or quantity of movement among axial segments. Transmitter sensors mounted on body periodically send ultrasonic burst signals and other 3 sensors arranged on a T-shape Mechanical base receive the three dimensional coordinate of these transmitters. After sending 3D coordination data to PC via serial port, a complex visual basic software separately calculates angular dispersion, rate and acceleration for each segment. Also this special software calculates the stabilization parameters among segments such as AI (anchoring index) and cross-correlating between head and trunk coordinates.","PeriodicalId":256285,"journal":{"name":"IEEE EUROCON 2009","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-05-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132703992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
