Having an effective classificator, we should achieve selecting a method good enough for restoration of missing image segments. It is very important especially for texture images. Common methods usually fail in these cases. It is necessary to select the method, which is dedicated for synthesizing an image or for inpainting. In this paper, three methods of extrapolation and texture synthesis are shown. They are analysed in terms of suitability for restoration of missing texture image segments. For one type of texture classification, the analysis of several categories is made. As the missing image segments, block of 8×8, macroblock of 16×16 and strip of macroblocks are considered. Mechanical aspects of designing for some types of high speed PM electrical machines such as PM synchronous machines with a wide range of rotating speed and power rating are specially discussed in the paper. The analysis technique for machines of such type is developed. Several compression/decompression schemes were developed and well estabilished. Most of them adopt the modified discrete cosine transform (MDCT) and its inverse version (IMDCT). In this paper we present a FPGA implementation of a fast rotation-based forward and inverse MDCT algorithm. We implemented fully parallel IP core capable of both forward and inverse 36-point MDCT computation. It was found that the computation is faster than in well known FPGA implementations. In the modeling, fuzzy rules are employed to create a look-up table. The ambient temperature has adverse effects on CPS output characteristic, by using this look-up table we have access to compensated value of differential pressure, Δp. A test bench is designed and implemented to data acquisition in a real environment. The transient heat conducting process of IMCCR running with discontinuous blocked rotor was studied, in which two different structure rotors were compared analyzed. The transient temperature field was numerically calculated by using the method of coupling electromagnetic field and temperature field, in which the continuous process with application of full voltage during 10s rotor locked, natural cooling during 600s disconnection of motor and during repeated next 10s rotor blocked is simulated. Based on the above, this paper presented the heat conducting process of the stator equivalent windings and change trend of bidirectional heat conducting of parts of stator. Then radial transient heat conducting processes of rotor when blocked and natural cooling were analyzed. We developed a simple, portable sensor system, which can be used for recording of gait signals, as well as for estimation of important gait parameters like joint angles, ground reaction forces, and various temporal parameters. In order to assess robustness of the system in everyday use in different environmental conditions and to see how it reacts to atypical gait patterns, we recorded signals from five healthy and five hemiplegic subjects, repeating the experiment on several consecutive days. We compared angles between adjacent leg segments and used Pearson's correlation coefficient as a measure of similarity. This paper addresses the design and implementation of a MIMO encoder that is based on Alamouti scheme on a Xilinx® Virtex™−4 XC4VLX60 Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) device. This encoder is a part of MIMO testbed, equipped with multiple antennas at both ends of the link which appropriately encodes the modulated symbols to achieve both time and spatial diversity. In this paper, a comprehensive explanation of the complete design process is provided, including an illustration of the tools used in its development.
