In this study, a modified architecture of predistortion with two paths is presented for the high power amplifier. The goal is to develop a 10W linear power amplifier with LDMOS transistor for 8 channels NCDMA repeater from 870 to 880MHz. Monitoring and controlling the humidity is of great importance for the reliable operation of various systems. Micro cantilever systems have been found to be highly suited for sensing purposes. A micro cantilever humidity sensor based on capacitive principle is designed and various analyses were performed on the sensor. The polyimide being the sensing layer is coated on the cantilever beam. The beam is provided with movable electrode. The deflection of beam causes capacitance change, which is related to the change in humidity. The design also incorporates a platinum based temperature sensor to compensate for change in humidity due to temperature and also a platinum based heater to regenerate the sensing layer for obtaining next measurement. The structure was designed using Coventorware and Intellisuite. The structure showed a good linearity and good sensitivity in the regions from 10-40 % RH in all temperatures in human adaptive ranges. The beam had an appreciable deflection causing a notable change in capacitance. Reducing the computational requirements for SRC is a key element for the success and profitability of SWR systems. An efficient decimation architecture using Walsh transform for HF surface wave radar receivers is presented. The proposed takes into consideration the complexities of algorithm due to the relatively high data rate and the intensive filter operations involved in commonly used decimators, which substitute multiplication-addition for addition-subtraction imposed on filter. Performances illustrative are compared with that of other similar decimators. Each slot is excited by a coaxial line probe. It is proposed that the interior of the waveguide be filled with very low loss rutile material to provide a better impedance match to biological tissue. By applying Fresnel-Kirchhoff scalar diffraction field theory, the expression for electric field in heating medium is derived. The contour distribution of specific absorption rate (SAR) in x-z plane and SAR distribution in z-direction due to slotted waveguide array as direct contact applicator is evaluated at 433 MHz. The parameters such as penetration depth, power absorption coefficient and spot size are obtained for slotted waveguide array. The results of slotted waveguide array are compared with those of a single waveguide slot operating at same frequency. It is shown that by changing the phase and amplitude of excitation of each slot of the array, relative amplitude and position of the hot spot can be changed. The experiments of some benchmark functions demonstrate that it achieves relatively high performance. The method is applicable to both closed and open bodies because of the usage of EFIE. In the analysis, impressed sources and the shape of the conductors are arbitrarily given. The conducting surface is modeled by planar triangular patches for numerical purposes. The effects of temporal basis function on the results are studies firstly, which shows that the choice of temporal functions is vital importance. To overcome the late-time oscillation and keep the accuracy of the solution, an averaging scheme has been proposed. A number of numerical examples are given and the results are compared with ones obtained from inverse discrete Fourier transform (IDFT). The digital hybrid PLL (DH-PLL) which includes the open loop structure into the conventional PLL synthesizer has been studied to overcome this problem. It operates in high speed, but the hardware complexity and power consumption are another serious problems since the DLT (digital look-up table) is usually implemented by the ROM which contains the transfer characteristic of VCO (voltage controlled oscillator). This paper proposes a new DH-PLL using a very simple DLT-replacement digital logic instead of the complex ROM-type DLT. Also, a timing synchronization circuit makes the negligible overshoot and much shorter settling time for the ultra fast switching speed.
