The FEM is utilised to compute the line constants even when the geometry and arrangement of the conductors forming the line are nonsymmetrical. A comparison between analytical and numerical results is discussed for some practical examples.","PeriodicalId":253344,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Service. Somebody said that Tesla was working on \"inventing the future\". He was a pioneer in many fields, but commonly misunderstood. His work paved the way for widespread electrification and information technology, and forever changed our lives. Still, Nikola Tesla reminded the great forgotten genius through the history of science in most parts of the world, with his name usually unknown, even among scientists. We do not discuss the reasons for this great injustice. We discuss one of the ways to pass Tesla's legacy on to the next generation: the freshman course about Nikola Tesla and his inventions offered for the first time ever at the University of California at Berkeley.","PeriodicalId":253344,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Service. In such applications, it is usual to use window functions with prespecified shape and length. For good target velocity estimation, it is necessary to apply adaptive length window functions. The optimum length is primarily influenced by the target dynamics, expressed in its acceleration, and the signal-to-noise ratio of the obtained echo. We propose a very simple procedure for a signal-to-noise ratio estimation. The efficiency of this procedure and the influence of the estimated signal-to-noise ratio on the velocity estimation has been demonstrated through computer simulations.","PeriodicalId":253344,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Service. The modification takes into account the actual input queue lengths in order to decrease cell loss rate. Input and output sequences have been investigated from the fractal and the multifractal point of view. Simulation results prove that the MRR exhibits some advantages compared to the classic RR scheduling.","PeriodicalId":253344,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Service. Further, the Tesla coil passes to a conventional lumped element inductor as the helix is electrically shortened.","PeriodicalId":253344,"journal":{"name":"5th International Conference on Telecommunications in Modern Satellite, Cable and Broadcasting Service.
