A typical configuration of photovoltaic solar power plant is: photovoltaic panel, junction box, connection cables, controller, battery and inverter. The first part of this study describes the methods and techniques often used in monitoring and diagnosing the state of a system. In the second part of the study is presented a new method and technique used in monitoring and diagnosing the state of a system, SMART FMECA. This new method will help to approach a better hierarchy of each failure mode, for each component.","PeriodicalId":250783,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical And Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114533282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The behavior of composite materials was determined in terms of dielectric properties and the distribution of poultry feather flour in the basic polymer matrix, to optimize the technology and structure. The results showed that the addition of feather flour in thermoplastic matrix led to an increase in dielectric constant and dielectric loss and the presence of additives leads to better dispersion and processability of the composite material, an observation supported by X-ray analysis.","PeriodicalId":250783,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical And Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116264885","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These orientation systems usually can track the sun’s position on one or two axis in a permanent manner throughout the entire day. However, such systems are quite expensive and another possibility is to implement a periodic orientation system which allows the manual adjustment of the PV panel’s tilt angle according to an optimum value determined for a certain time interval, like monthly, seasonal or biannual. This paper aims to investigate the efficiency of a such periodic orientation system in terms of energy output gains and compare it with the gains obtained by using a permanent orientation system on one and two axis.","PeriodicalId":250783,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical And Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121804759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These are recent proposed solutions, so studies in thermodynamic characteristics, thermal and rheological performance are therefore imperative in order to establish the benefits of their use in practical applications. The controller of the outer speed control loop in the FOC structure is replaced by fractional PID $(PI^{lambda}D^{mu})$ and Tilt Integral Derivative (TID) controllers. The transfer functions of these two controllers were synthesized through the Fractional Order Modeling and Control (FOMCON) toolbox for MATLAB, for the implementation in the PMSM real-time control system. The numerical simulations presents the superiority of the speed Fractional Order-PI (FO-PI) controller and speed TID controller against the speed PI controller; this superiority can be explained by the fact that they have a supplementary number of tuning parameters than the speed PI controller, and their mathematical model is more accurate due to the use of the fractional calculus.","PeriodicalId":250783,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical And Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"53 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123478685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various researchers and companies have proposed medical and non-medical products or devices that help these people. The products on the market at the moment, although numerous, are not connected to the needs of patients. Also, most of the existing devices do not sufficiently protect the patient’s data. This study designed a complete system to monitor and record the patient’s locations, heart rate, and patient’s spatial position. Also, this system’s novelty is the function that helps people with dementia in the self-administration of drugs. In this case, they can take care of themselves, and those close to them will always know the location and position of these patients if they took their medication correctly.","PeriodicalId":250783,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference and Exposition on Electrical And Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-10-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133829768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
