Abstract

The research of the authors is focused on presenting a practical multidisciplinary experiment - an elevator simulator to relate theory and practice inside of a lot of disciplines and to bring the “real world” into a useful case study for electrical and control engineering education. Through the existence of interesting experiments, students gain motivation either to continue thinking and improving new solutions for building and control of elevators.
