Therefore, researchers have to focus not only on the L1’ L2, but also on the L2’ L1 effect. There has been extensive research into how L1 affects L2, commonly known as negative influence, but a lot less about the opposite direction, commonly known as Reverse or Backward transfer.The present study attempts to examine and critically review pertinent research into the question of bidirectional influence between languages. First, it traces the conceptual framework of the notion L1†’L2 effect. Second, it attempts to demonstrate how an emerging new language (L2) affects the existing L1. Although there are several ways of conceptualizing L2 influence on L1, the focus, in the present study, is on the concept of Multi-Competence proposed by Cook (1991; 1999; 2006; 2007; 2011) and how it shifts the evaluation angle of the interlanguage system. Third, it examines the pedagogical aspects of both directions, as manifested in L2 classroom.  Special focus will be given to how the concept of multicompetence sees the goal of L2 learning and how language teaching should reflect such a goal. However, it is difficult to conduct research studies on primary care physicians (PCPs). Conducting longitudinal qualitative studies is even more challenging. No studies on Chinese PCPs in this area are identified. Methods: We invited 14 Chinese PCPs to participate in a 12-month longitudinal qualitative study which explored their continuing professional learning experiences and viewpoints. They reported their learning activities by questionnaires in which the findings served as a guide for subsequent interviews. Each of them took part in four individual interviews spanning 12 months. We detailed the conduction process and challenges in a research diary and analyzed these data by thematic content analysis. Results: The major challenges were identification and recruitment of eligible PCPs. We tackled these challenges with the assistance of our professional networks and opinion leaders. We offered the participants an intellectual incentive by designing our study relevant to their profession. Flexibility and convenience of data collection could minimize the heavy burden on them. The population of the study consists of 1234 teachers working in 79 primary school of Van in the academic year period of 2013-2014 and the study group consists of 200 classroom teachers from 20 schools, which were selected randomly. The research datawere collectedby questionnairedeveloped by the researcher and the solutions were made with the SPSS program. As a result of the study, it is presented that linking courses increases the knowledge of the students, makes the information transfers and learning the courses easier by solidifying them and facilitates the permanence. Education as a institution deeply rooted within the context of the broader community can, therefore, hardly afford to do without the digital era. Assessment, as a subcategory of education, is expected to be under the influence of the same trend. The present study, focusing on the EFL situation in Iran compared two equal-sized advanced learners’  each containing 20) writing accuracy and length. One group employed the traditional paper-and-pencil  PPT) mode while the other used computer-assisted language testing  CALT).  Results indicated a significantly more accurate writing for the CALT group, while a longer writing production for the PPT group. Babalola","doi":"10.24297/IJREM.V7I1.3858","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24297/IJREM.V7I1.3858","url":null,"abstract":"The tracking of public spending on education has gradually become a fashionable practice because of the general view that public expenditure may not reach the publicly run schools due to leakages triggered by corruption, mismanagement and weak monitoring mechanisms. This has increased the fear that the expenditure on primary education might not translate into improved learning. Consequently, this research tracked the flow of instructional materials from the Federal Government Agency through the State Government Agency and the Local Government Agency to the primary school level, assessed the efficiency of public spending and determined the location and scale of anomaly by adopting Public Expenditure Tracking Survey (PETS) to address issues of public accountability in the management of the Universal Basic Education funds in Oyo state. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study using the quantitative and qualitative multi-angular data collection strategy which blended primary survey-based data with secondary information from documentary sources. The population of the study consisted of all seventy four (74) primary schools in Ibadan North Local Government area of Oyo State, Nigeria. The results indicated a significant evidence of resource leakage, existence of lobbying, hoarding of textbooks by some schools and lack of information to the stakeholders on funds released and allocation to schools. There are still many tennis players not able to do the flat service well and properly. This can be seen from theresult of flat service done less maximum. The purpose of the research was to find out how big the contribution of the grip strength and waist flexibility on the accuracy of flat service for tennis players of PTL UNP.Type of the research was correlational research. The population of the research was all tennis players of PTL UNP which consisted of 35 people. The sample in this research was taken by using purposive sampling in which it was taken based on the purpose or the research need. Therefore, the sampel of the research was male players who followed a training in the tennis training club of UNP. They are around 18-24 years old that totaled 20 people. This research was done at PTLUNP club. The grip strength data of PTL UNP tennis players were taken by using hand grip dynamometer test. The waistflexibility data were taken by flexiometer test and the accuracy of flat service data were taken from the playersaccuracy o f flat service.Based on the data analysis, some results were obtained: (1) there was a contribution between the grip strength and the accuracy of flat service , in which the contribution was 62.1%. (2) there was a contribution between the waist flexibility an d the accuracy of flat service , in which the contribution was 62.1%. (3) there was a contribution between the grip strength and waist flexibility on the accuracy of flat service, in which the contribution was 68.3%. Three research questions and three hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. The study was a descriptive survey research design and the population consisted of all the wards in the two chosen local government areas in Ekiti and Oyo States. Stratified random sampling technique was used to collect data rated on a four point Likert scale and on the items related to the study. The instrument was tested for reliability using Pearsons Product Moment Correlation coefficient which yielded an index of 0.79 which was adjudged good enough for measuring the consistency of the items. Mean and Standard Deviation were used to answer the research questions while t-test was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The study revealed that people both, young ,men and women are victims of human trafficking, it also revealed that poverty, greed and materialism are the main causes for falling victim of human trafficking. It was also found that traffickers use violence, threat, deception and debt bondage to trap victims.
