The methodology of distance learning has not significantly changed since its inception in the 18th century; rather, the mode of communication between students and teachers has evolved. At present, there is little room for improvement in distance learning through the use of new technological solutions. However, the use of artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities for education that will fundamentally transform the shape of education in the future. Based on their experiences, analysis of the development of distance learning, and trends in artificial intelligence, the authors have conceptualized the P3 education model, which is predictive, personalized, and proactive. This model will first be applied in non-formal education and will be implemented more slowly in the formal education system, which is conservative and slow to embrace change. However, within a few years, as every individual with a smartphone will have their own digital teacher (an icon on the phone screen to be tapped), the formal education system will undergo seismic changes.Key words:distance learning, artificial intelligence, education, paradigm change.","PeriodicalId":247394,"journal":{"name":"Research in Education and Rehabilitation","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132706600","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The treatment was conducted at The Clinic for Eye Diseases in Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Convergent strabismusis a sensorimotor anomaly characterized by deviation of the eyes from the parallel position, manifestly, inwards/towards the nose, often in addition with visual impairment. After applying a range of conservative treatments, surgical treatment was performed on the patient. Retropositio MRM 6 mm and Resectio MRL 7 mm were performed through surgery. Post-operative check showed that, alongside aesthetic, functional healing was achieved through operation. There are many learning media used to create a fun learning environment for students. The form of animated learning media can be used in solving math problems for students in junior high schools. One website or animation programmer site that students can use simply is Scratch. The use of the scratch application in learning mathematics with animated illustrations makes students excited in solving the problems presented. By using the quantitative method, this study aims to look at students' learning interest in solving math problems using scratch learning media. Subjects and participants involved in this study were children aged 12-15 years or the equivalent of junior high school education. The results showed that 80% of students were able to solve problems properly using animation media from the initial application. With a high number of results, it is hoped that it can provide a reference for teachers in choosing the right mathematics learning media for students.Keywords: learning media, scratch , problem solving, mathematics.","PeriodicalId":247394,"journal":{"name":"Research in Education and Rehabilitation","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115629768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Results of this research have shown that surveyed pediatricians are working with children with difficulties in speech-language development on a daily basis. Respondents have mostly correctly answered all questions related to speech-language development which indicates that they have solid knowledge in this area. Results have shown that most of the respondents is not satisfied with the knowledge obtained from specialist study on early growth and development and that they are not completely familiar with developmental-behavioral pediatrics, but all of the pediatricians have agreed that this field of sub-specialty should be included as a part of our higher education program. Transfontaneal neonatal brain ultrasoundprovides diagnosis and assessment trend of brain changes through repeated examinations, without harmful radiation to child, which is important because in some conditions, serial examination is necessary to detect the full spectrum of lesional change. The aim of this research was to examine types of technology students of Faculty for special education and rehabilitation own, types of technology their faculty owns, self-perceived level of proficiency in using certain programs, students’ satisfaction with certain services or spaces provided to them by their faculty, students’ belief in usefulness of certain aspects of technology use at their faculty, perception of usefulness of particular technologies at their faculty, as well as their opinions about technology use during lectures. The sample included 156 students and the survey distributed to respondents was a survey designed by Honeychurch & McCluckie (2007).Almost all respondents own smartphone (97.4%) and a computer, while only 26.3% of the sample owns tablet device. The programs that students believe their level of proficiency in using is excellent are internet (53.2%) and email (41%). The students are not satisfied with faculty spaces and services. Majority of the sample believes that usingtechnology can help them in all aspects of their studies and that technology is the most useful in making them feel more connected to their peers.We recommend replicating this research again now, since the study was conducted when the COVID-19 pandemic started. However, there is little research on the use of standardized risk assessment procedures in practice. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the individual level of risk and characteristics of the treatment of inmates in the Tuzla Semi-Open Correctional Facility. The sample consisted of 67 inmates of both sexes (70.1% male and 22.9% female), aged from 24 to 67 (M = 40.60; SD = 10.81). Data was collected by analyzing the official records. Results of this study reveals few differences in the treatment of inmates according to their risk level. Special educators and rehabilitators should show a lower social distance toward people with intellectual disabilities and a high empathy index. The main goal of this research is to examine the correlation between social distance toward people with intellectual disabilities and empathy, as well as differences in the manifestation of social distance and empathy concerning the year of study. The sample consisted of 60 students divided into two subgroups: 30 students in lower years of study (first and the second year) and 30 students in higher years of study (third and fourth year). Three scales were used: The Social Distance subscale from the Mental Retardation Attitude Inventor-Revised (MRAI-R), the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI), and the General Questionnaire. The research results showed that students in special education and rehabilitation show a low social distance toward people with intellectual disabilities, and students with higher years of study show less social distance compared to students with lower years of study. Students manifest a high index of empathy, and there are no differences concerningthe year of study.
