This paper aims to review \u0000the research of enriched knowledge of PMS of children with disabilities, which emphasized \u0000the importance of performing activities of everyday life and the acquisition of academic \u0000skills. The papers collected a search of electronic databases using the keywords: PMS, \u0000children with disabilities, visual perception, gross and fine motor skills, visual-motor \u0000coordination, visual-motor integration. Criteria for the selection of papers have been \u0000published in full and in the last 10 years. A total of 12 works met the criteria. The results of \u0000the research review showed that children with disabilities have a limitation in PMS, and \u0000showed that PMS differ separately from the type and degree of difficulty, but differences also \u0000exist within the same category of children with disabilities. Implementation of education and \u0000rehabilitation programs improves PMS. The results showed that there is a correlation between \u0000PMS and activities of everyday life and a correlation between visual perceptions and the \u0000acquisition of reading skills. The aim of this study was to examine the importance \u0000of hematological parameters and c-reactive protein (CRP) in the diagnosis of sepsis, \u0000assessment of disease severity, and prediction of final outcome of these patients. The \u0000prospective study included 106 hospitalized patients with a clinical diagnosis of sepsis. \u0000Haematological parameters and CRP correlated with sepsis stage, and using ROC (Receiver \u0000operating characteristic) analysis were evaluated in the prediction of the final outcome of \u0000these patients. Among haematological parameters, patients with sepsis had a significantly \u0000higher proportion of total unsegmented neutrophil granulocytes, a lower percentage of \u0000lymphocytes, as well as a lower total platelet count (p<0.05 for all measurements). An \u0000excellent positive correlation was found between serum CRP concentration and disease stage \u0000(r=0.77). The best predictive value for the presence of sepsis was shown by CRP at the cut-\u0000off value of 165 mg/L (AUC 0.98), followed by the percentage of unsegmented neutrophil \u0000granulocytes for the cut-off value of 15.5 (AUC 0.67), and the percentage of lymphocytes \u0000less than 9.9 (AUC 0.66), platelets lower than 118x109/L (AUC 0.63). At the CRP cut-off \u0000value of 294.7 mg/L (AUC 0.84; 95% CI 0.74-0.93), death could be predicted in 80.95% of \u0000patients with sepsis, with the sensitivity of 43.75% and the specificity of 89.71% (p<0.0001). \u0000By monitoring changes in haematological parameters and CRP concentration in combination \u0000with other clinical and laboratory indicators, disease severity and final outcome in patients \u0000with sepsis can be predicted. \u0000 \u0000Key words: CRP, lymphocytes, platelets, SIRS, sepsis

The\u0000earliest years of life are extremely important for the entire subsequent development of the\u0000individual. The environment in which a child lives is a significant factor in the quality and\u0000efficiency of its early development and subsequent progression. The increase in the number\u0000of children who are identified as children with special educational needs has caught attention\u0000of experts in many countries. This increase may be the result of an inadequate educational\u0000system, as well as increased and more pronounced differences between children in today’s\u0000schools. Identification of children with special educational needs brings about the need to\u0000create a classification system, which is an issue that has been troubling experts for a long\u0000time.\u0000The paper wants to highlight that children with disabilities in Croatia are still perceived from\u0000the standpoint of their disability, rather than their ability, and it is the experts who decide\u0000about their schooling, their employment and, thus, their entire life.
