The mass exodus has been happening at an alarming rate, resulting in disadvantaged countries losing effective hospital staff. Staff turnover has been witnessed in Government administered hospitals in Zimbabwe. Both low and high staff turnover has proven to affect the healthcare system. This is evident in the poor health service that is being delivered after qualified and experienced doctors, nurses and other related personnel have left their work places in search of better opportunities and greener pastures. The study gathered findings from related literature and distributed questionnaires around selected hospitals in an attempt to evaluate and assess the effects of high staff turnover in Zimbabwean hospitals. Thus, a survey on the results of being short staffed due voluntary hospital staff turnover has shown the negative effects of staff turnover in Zimbabwean hospitals. The study included four government hospitals (GH) as case studies, these are; Chivhu, Sadza, Kotwa and Marondera Hospitals. The study reviewed that 95% of the respondents indicated that there was a record of staff turnover at their respective hospitals. The research results showed that nurses constituted the most staff members leaving government hospitals, making up 29.49% of the total turnover in the four GH involved in the study. The destination for those nurses and other medical practitioners was regarded as ‘g mainly regarded as ‘greener pastures’ in the United Kingdome effects of staff turnover was the shortage of qualified and experienced staff members in hospitals in Zimbabwe which affected the quality-of-service delivery. This article gives in detail the objectives, results and recommendations for the topic in question.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126153464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Schools also spend money on information technologies to enhance their operations, offerings, and outcomes. Information technologies have also grown to a position of considerable relevance in education because of their role in contemporary communities. The department implemented several school-based information systems to assist school administrators and guarantee the caliber of instruction and learning. To provide efficient, open, and effective governance, the school information system must be connected in line with the direction defined by EdTech. With this, the Secondary Schools of Talisay City will integrate the School Information System into its systems to automate grading procedures and information retrieval. Thanks to this shift, teachers and advisors can now simply and quickly obtain the information they need to update.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133582638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The STEM Framework is a comprehensive STEM educational framework built around challenges that are protracted, persistent, and difficult. The knowledge and abilities needed to tackle those challenges must come from at least one dominant field, with the other disciplines contributing the techniques, procedures, or resources to aid in the process. This method can be used by teachers to create STEM lessons by identifying a central issue whose resolution calls for expertise from two or more STEM fields. The term “STEM education” is not new in the area, but due to pedagogical and curriculum issues, it is still not being taught in the classroom properly. In order to enable teachers to innovate and take charge of STEM education in their classroom, it is crucial to provide them with programs that assist them in applying and implementing STEM pedagogies in the classroom. To integrate STEM into practice, firstly we should identify the key elements of STEM. This study is conducted for addressing the major components of the STEM Education framework in Bangladesh perspective.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127493817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study employed a descriptive and focused research design. It utilized survey and observation methods. The researcher used a researcher-made questionnaire to describe the respondent’s profile and the extent of therapeutic communications skills, frequency counts, means, weighted means, and the rank was used. It reveals that the nurses are competent in therapeutic communication skills at the hospital regarding the Acting-Response Technique and Active Listening Response technique. It revealed that age, gender, ethnic group, the native language spoken, religion, and educational attainment were not significantly correlated to the acting response and acting listening-response techniques regarding the stand, open, lean forward, eye contact, and relax. However, the civil status of the nurse was significantly correlated to acting-response and listening techniques such as opening, paraphrasing, and reflecting. Based on this study’s significant findings, the following recommendations are drawn: Nurses should take graduate studies that will give them in-depth knowledge and practical skills in their field. They need to improve their therapeutic communication skills, develop and maintain a healing relationship in which their patient will experience security, and be optimistic that positive change is possible. Moreover, nurses should always possess a good and caring attitude toward their patients. It must be based on mutual agreement between nurses and patients as to what constitutes nurse caring behaviors. Likewise, to further enhance the therapeutic communication skills of nurses, a monthly orientation program and conducting a series of seminars must be done. Furthermore, the educational institutions offering the nursing course should emphasize their curriculum to improve the therapeutic communication skills of a student nurse.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"247 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133942572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First-generation business owners are considering passing the torch to second- generation to sustain business leadership and brand legacy. This study helps restaurant owners develop a succession plan. The research study determined the perceived challenges in succession planning for first generation family run restaurant owners and correspondingly created an appropriate succession plan. The research focused on first generation restaurant owners’ succession planning challenges. Qualitative research was used to arrive at the conclusion of the study. Interpretivism was the philosophical lens through which this was viewed. Participants in this study were first-generation owners of family run restaurants in Cavite Province that had existed for more than seven years. Data were gathered using interview guide. Themes and their meanings were discovered through thematic analysis. Lack of Know-How among Would-Be Successors in Restaurant Management, Lack of Passion in Restaurant Management among Would-Be Successors and Lack of Second Generation Business Successor are the three Challenges to Business Succession faced by business owners. Four business founders’ attributes to success have emerged as building blocks in creating appropriate succession plan for Family-Owned Restaurants: (a) Resilience and Tenacity, (b) Resourcefulness, (c) Customer-Centric, and (d) Founders’ Interventions. In succession planning, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. An effective succession plan can accommodate the needs of a particular business owner. In this sense, first-generation business owners’ unwavering commitment to succession planning is important.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129564816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
