This research identifies the facilitation techniques and communication strategies currently used in dispute resolution, with the end in view of enhancing the mediation process, thereby reducing the number of cases in courts. This research also evaluates the level of satisfaction of the parties on the perceived performance of the mediators. Validated questionnaires were administered to the mediators and parties in the six Philippine Mediation units in Laguna, Philippines. The research shows significant results and conclusions like mediators frequently used effective techniques and strategies to facilitate direct communication between parties and to overcome an impasse. But there were techniques and strategies which the mediators seldom used. It was found that the parties and mediators encountered problems and challenges sometimes but still the mediators were able to address them. The parties were highly satisfied with the court annexed mediators’ facilitation techniques and communication strategies. The researcher drafts a development plan to enhance the current practices that can eventually lead to a successful mediation process.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"36 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132867219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Roño Literary Awards, and applies New Criticism in the textual analysis. It focuses on the translator’s role as a linguistic and cultural interpreter in faithfully rendering the nuances of the literary text from Waray to English. Before developing a strategy for translating the source text into the target language, translators understand the relationship between the source language and culture. The translation of culturally specific items is central to the current study. Strategies are based on Newmark’s semantic translation, Koller’s formal expressive equivalence, Reiss’ text types, and Vinay and Darbelnet’s Model giving a domesticated or foreignized effect on the product of translation. In addition to transferring meaning, the text’s cultural identity is emphasized as a pillar of the translation process. The collection of poetry talks about the universal themes of love and relationships, the essence of family life, life’s journey and the dynamics of society while the images and objective correlatives effectively represent human conditions. Symbolisms and central metaphors reflect the values and human experiences of individuals. The poems do not have set rhymes and meter but are well-written in subtle, metaphorical lines, mirror life, and celebrate the Waray language, reveal the Waray sensibilities, and reflect the Waray ideals and values which are also universal ideals and values proving that the Waray language and culture are not inferior to the rest of the world.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"59 3","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120823879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After the epidemic, switching to online education was very difficult. Many educational institutions worldwide struggled to switch from on-campus to online learning since it required considerable adjustments to their digital competences, pedagogical expertise, psychosocial counseling, interaction levels, engagement techniques, evaluation methodologies, support systems, etc. After the Covid period, should we return to traditional teaching and learning approaches or embrace the revolutionary new possibilities? Never. What tactics should we use? For this study, Bangabandhu Digital University, Bangladesh Open University, and Daffodil International University researchers gave students and instructors a semi-structured questionnaire. Blended learning is common in Bangladesh, according to preliminary study. We identified numerous challenges and potential for building a sustainable blended education system in Bangladesh using the Blended Education For All (BEFA) model.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123658507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since then, weak development in relation to its enclave settlement has been observed. Keeping these gaps in mind, the paper is motivated by a study of the relationships between ethnic enclave settlement and weak development in city. A hybrid methodology was used in the study, and a sample size of 500 households from the five Kebeles that spatially structured Gambella city was used. Moreover, officials from the city administration, Gambella municipality, and Gambella urban development bureau were among the targets for interview. Data was gathered using a variety of instruments, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and visual observations. Data from the survey was analyzed using RStudio. In this manner, an ethnic enclave settlement in Gambella city resulted in a significant level of 1 percent connection with four development spectrums, according to structural equation modeling (SEM) outputs that are either positive or negative, where a 72 percent mismatch in development sector because of the ethnic enclave settlement is observed. In order to properly utilize ethnic enclaves as resources for development and prosperity in Gambella, policymakers need comprehensive multicultural city planning that invests in residents’ attitudes and thinking. This planning has the potential to curb the observed challenges that hinder development in Gambella City through creating a favorable environment for local and indigenous knowledge, investing in huge public goods, and adopting new trends of entrepreneurship that can be admired by many who want to own the city.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133065423","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study analyzes the factors that influence households’ decision to participate in crop diversification on their plot and the determinants of the level of diversification based on survey data obtained through stratified sampling in the Tonkpi, Poro and Tchologo regions in 2020. The Herfindahl index was used to classify producers according to their degree of crop diversification. Applying the Cragg hurdle regression, the study shows that the decision to diversify crops is positively associated with household size, group membership, male gender, number of farm equipment, access to formal credit, distance from town, and region of residence of the producer and negatively associated with producer age and distance from the plot. The degree of diversification is positively associated with group membership and access to formal credit. The results therefore suggest policies to facilitate access to credit and to train and supervise producer groups in rural areas.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131951902","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
