The purpose of the research is to assist hotel owners and managers in measuring guests’ satisfaction and service quality perception along with the following dimensions: Tangibility, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, Image, and Guest Satisfaction. The Gronroos model is composed of 39 attributes, it was utilized in the formulation of the questionnaires. In the efforts to explore the multivariate relationship among the variables, structural equation modeling (SEM) using JAMOVI version 2.3.21 software was used to analyze the data from hundred (100) customers. The study used a descriptive correlational method to identify the relationship between the independent and dependent variables of the study by determining the guest’s satisfaction and service quality perception. The study included the results on the demographic profile of respondents by which the majority were aged 21-25 years old (n=40), most of them were single (n=71), female (n=53) and most of them were students (n=47). The findings showed that the overall weighted GRONROOS score has a negative value which shows that the guest’s satisfaction is higher than their perception of it. The findings revealed that there is a significant relationship between service quality perception and guest satisfaction (β=0.530), guest satisfaction and image (β=0.588), and service quality perception and image (β=0.406).","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"7 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141336814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study focuses on two key variables: the proliferation of tourism-related establishments and incidents of adversity involving tourists. Notably, despite unfortunate occurrences affecting tourists in Butuan City, there has been a noteworthy surge in the establishment of tourism-related ventures. The research endeavors to shed light on whether this burgeoning tourism sector exerts a positive or negative influence on destinations like Butuan City. Utilizing secondary data sourced from various local government entities, including the Butuan City Tourism Office, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and the Philippine National Police (PNP), the study meticulously examines trends over a span of seven years from 2010 to 2017. By scrutinizing the growth trajectories of tourism enterprises juxtaposed with the incidence rates of tourism-related mishaps, this investigation seeks to unravel the dynamic interplay between tourism development and its impact on peace and security in the locale. Through rigorous analysis and interpretation of these datasets, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the implications of tourism growth on the overall well-being and tranquility of Butuan City and similar tourist destinations.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"8 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141277906","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A comparative study and analysis of multi-criteria decision-making methods such as TOPSIS, PROMETHEE II, MAUT and COPRAS was carried out using the reference rankings of MULTIMOORA and MOOSRA to evaluate the consistency of the results of these techniques and to rank the risk factors according to the vulnerability of mosquito breeding habitats and the risk of malaria transmission in the study area. The results indicate that TOPSIS ranked the alternative similarly to the reference ranking, while PROMETHEE II, MAUT, and COPRAS were ranked equally according to the weighted Spearman correlation coefficient and the weighted sum rank similarity coefficient analysis. The degree of consistency with which the risk factors in the study area were analyzed through this comparative study shows that the TOPSIS technique is suitable for its application in malaria epidemiology to determine the appropriate intervention measure for vector management in the northern zone of up to certain Plateau State.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"52 28","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141275335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The present study sought to better understand the influence of primary colors on memory retention among student gamers in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Applying a quantitative research approach, specifically an experimental research design, examined two independent variables and a control condition. Respondents were composed of 30 student gamers. Most of them were undergraduate students who were exposed to video game experiments and were chosen purposively. In analyzing the collected data, one-way ANOVA and Mauchly’s Test of Sphericity were utilized. Results revealed that primary colors do not significantly influence memory recall. This implies that better memory performance cannot be attributed to the facets of primary colors. Limitations were acknowledged regarding the chosen sample size and the research instruments’ procedural use. Hence, further studies may be conducted by minimizing the confounding variables and other external distractors in the same environment.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"192 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140704523","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A total of 50 questionnaires were administered to randomly selected farmers and the questionnaires covered various aspects, including demographics, farming and soil fertility management practices, awareness of organic agriculture, soil health, and soil fertility, as well as acceptance, viability, and sustainability of organic inputs. The findings revealed that the majority of the respondents were male, with a range of ages and educational backgrounds, mostly attaining secondary education with varying levels of farming and agricultural experience. Regarding farming and soil fertility management practices, respondents reported adopting practices such as tillage, mound/heaps/ridges, bush burning, mulching, and mixed cropping. Organic fertilization was more commonly used than inorganic fertilization, with reasons cited including availability, low cost, crop response, and long-term effects. Farmers recognized the importance of organic residue and soil organisms for soil health. However, there was limited awareness of organic agriculture among the respondents, and their knowledge of soil organisms and their contributions to soil health was moderate. The findings highlight the need for increased awareness and knowledge of organic agriculture and the potential benefits of organic inputs for soil health and fertility.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":" 28","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140386577","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research utilized semi-structured interviews with 10 participants who graduated between 2018 and 2022 and did not pass the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). Employing snowball sampling due to the challenge of reaching recent non-passers, the study delved into the narratives of individuals facing licensure challenges. Thematic analysis of interview data revealed patterns within participants’ experiences. The open narrative approach provided a platform for participants to articulate their unique stories, facilitating a rich understanding of the complex phenomena surrounding board examination outcomes. Ethical considerations were prioritized, ensuring informed consent, confidentiality, and a registered psychologist’s validation of the interview guide. The findings revealed the following themes as reasons for failing the board examination; absence of concentration on key topics, study habits, socio-economic factors, psychological factors, inadequate institutional support, lack of academic preparation contributing to examination difficulties. The study emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts among educational institutions and stakeholders to address these challenges comprehensively, fostering an environment conducive to graduates’ success in professional licensure examinations.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"271 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140417575","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Compared to Mandarin, Lingala generally has no measure words. According to Lado’s (1957) contrastive analysis hypothesis (CAH), linguistic elements different from the learners’ native language create difficulties for them. This study uses an empirical research method to investigate L2 learners’ use of CMMW and the problems they encounter. In the empirical study, questionnaires and proficiency tests were used to collect information from the participants. A CMMW test was also designed to collect data on the application and use of different CMMW by Lingala native speakers. The results of the empirical study showed that CMMW are a difficult task for Lingala native speakers. The results of this study also showed that although Lingala native speakers have difficulties in using most of the CMMW categories, some measure words are easier to use than others. The Congolese students have stronger skills in weights and measures, collective nominal measure words and temporary nominal measure words. The main reason for the difficulties lies not only in the cross-linguistic differences between Chinese Mandarin and Lingala, but also in the complexity of some CMMW. After finding out the difficulties faced by the Congolese students learning CMMW, some preliminary suggestions for teaching CMMW in second language learning and application were proposed.","PeriodicalId":244174,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation","volume":"2 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139389682","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
