An attempt is made to find out the sources of origin as well as to analyze them from linguocultural point of view. Toponymic phraseological units in both languages are classified into five main groups according to the emergence sources and particular attention is given to the historically associated phraseological units. Gambuh, for example, as the mother of the Balinese drama that appeared afterward and has developed from the Ancient Bali era, Classical Bali to the present, there are at least several strata of characters that appear, one of which is the Pekatik actor. This servant character only appears according to the needs of the storyline being presented, has the character of being innocent, funny, and antawacana using Balinese. Now, in some Gambuh performances, the Pekatik character is very rare because after the 1990s this role was replaced by the Semar character. This study is very important as a source of written data that will be used as reference material for future researchers. We can see this in the presence of various artistic creativities that are present in the midst of society. The presence of artistic creativity is due to the opening of wide creative spaces for the younger generation who love traditional music. Various types of new repertoires have appeared to color the development of Mandolin music today as a result of this freedom of space to create the repertoire work and the musical instruments. This has resulted in the emergence of many new musical genres in the community. The main problems discussed in this study include: What is the form of renewal carried out in Mandolin music? What are instrument development, repertoire, and presentation system? This research aims to identify, describe, and analyze the form of Mandolin music from classical to its development. Data were analyzed using interpretive qualitative methods, and the results of the analysis were presented informally in narrative form. The results of this study indicate that Neo Nolin is a renewal of the existing Mandooin music, reconstructed to present a new atmosphere, form, and presentation system that is more aesthetically attractive.","PeriodicalId":243248,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Literature and Culture","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131241439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The internal factor includes the needs for recognition of their basic rights in religion as well as desire for changes, pioneered by intellectuals and leaders of Dayak Ngaju religious system. The external factor includes religious politics, economy, education, religious conversion, as well as the existence of Great Council of Kaharingan Hinduism and the role of State Hindu College of Tampung Penyang Palangka Raya. The adaptation strategies are indicated through accommodative behaviours, revitalization and revivalization, as well as resistance. The implication of the adaptation strategies is that the adherents of Dayak Ngaju religious system are able to maintain Kaharingan identity by calling the religion “Hindu Kaharingan”, even though in state administration, the religion is still written as Hinduism. In daily practice, the teachings of Dayak Ngaju religious system can be delivered in its entirety, and the adherents may still have their rights in religious practices, education, economy, and politics just like the adherents of Indonesian official religions. The beast-fable’s extratemporal chronotope is indeed traversed by a brief but significantly intrusive fragment of repressed historicity. To attain such purposes, they have often recourse to shrewd selection of linguistic elements and manipulation of rhetorical devices. Thus, this paper aims to investigate the stylistic hallmarks utilized in Obama's and Al-Maliki's Inaugural Addresses, focusing on the roles realized by these hallmarks in delivering the intended messages. Obama's (2009) and Al-Maliki's (2006) Inaugural Addresses have been selected to be the data of the study. For the data analysis, a qualitative method involving the identification of the most prominent stylistic features is followed. The paper concludes that both Obama and Al-Maliki resort to different stylistic features and devices with relatively different degrees. This slight diversity of this use seems to be due to the nature of the two languages and to the different goals sought by the two speakers. Moreover, metaphor, repetition, parallelism and metonymy are the more dominant devices in Obama's Address than in Al-Malik's. Simile is only observed in Obama's address.","PeriodicalId":243248,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Linguistics, Literature and Culture","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129439014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
