Makkasau, Nevi Karisma","doi":"10.4108/eai.14-9-2019.2290051","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4108/eai.14-9-2019.2290051","url":null,"abstract":"The purposes of this research are; (1) to find out the application of Giving Question and Getting Answer (GQGA) cooperative learning model in science learning; (2) to find out the description of the students’ learning outcomes in science subject; (3) to determine the effect of GQGA toward the learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this research was all fourth grade students using simple random sampling. Data were collected using a research instrument in the form of multiple choice tests / questions consisting of 25 items. The instrument used was validated by experts and field validation. The data analysis technique used was Independent Sample T-Test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics Version 20. The results showed that the application of GQGA for each meeting had increased and was in the very effective category. The descriptive analysis result shows that students‘ learning outcomes before treatment are in the moderate category while after being treated using GQGA are in the high category with the average (mean) obtained is 86.1538. The probability value of the results of the hypothesis test is 0.001. The need for teaching materials as part of the teaching-learning process, which so far still refers to textbooks no longer attracts the attention of students. Even though there are online journals or websites, unverified articles are still the choice for students, because that showing fast in Search Engine. These conditions require creativity for lecturers. Communication of Education is one of the basic subjects of students to learn, but it has limitations face to face class because there are a lot materi. The ability of this flipbook-based digital book is considered the right choice because it not only offers text, but also images and videos, without internet connection. This article describes the process of student admission to a Flipbook-based digital book that was developed as a teaching material for Communication education Courses at Education Technology Study Program, Faculty of Education,University negeri Makassar. This article is a qualitative descriptive study, the main data source was obtained through in-depth interviews with several students based on Purposive techniques, questionnaires and direct observation in Communication Education class during the teaching and learning process. The results of the study showed the enthusiasm of students in using flipbook-based digital books as teaching materials for Communication Education courses. Character education became a human wisdom tool in dealing with the flow of changes that affect the human's mentality. Students must be provided from the beginning about the value of national character, it could be done through the integration of character values in learning, especially Indonesian language learning in elementary school (SD). This study aimed to integrate the character education into learning Indonesian in elementary school, specifically there were two main points of study, those are (1) identifying the appropriate character values to be integrated into Indonesian subjects in elementary school (2) integrating character values into Indonesian learning in elementary school. The research design was descriptive qualitative that aimed to present research findings through more detailed narratives. The data sources were obtained through documentation, that was obtained from Indonesian primary school learning books, observation, observing the students behavior in the classroom, and teacher interviewed. The research instrument referred to strengthening character education (PPK) of the ministries of education and culture. The problem formulation in this study is whether the use of human maps learning media is effective on learning motivation in science concept 2. This research uses a quantitative approach to the type of research that is experimental research design using Quasi Experimental in the form of Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample Ttest obtained significance of 0.0 (0.00 <0.05) and tcount> ttable (6.835> 1.699). This type of research is the development (research and development) through several stages, namely (1) gathering initial information, (2) design, (3) development, (4) assessment, (5) product revision, and subsequently obtained prototype of science teaching materials. The assessment conducted on the products of natural science teaching materials is the text of natural science teaching materials based on character values using Market Place Activity (MPA) techniques, guidebooks, and LKPD. The assessment of the resulting product is carried out through three stages, namely the assessment of reliability, practicality, and effectiveness. The subjects of the field trials were teachers and fifth grade students at SD Sudirman 1 Makassar City. Data collection was done through questionnaire validation of teaching materials, teacher responses questionnaire, student response questionnaire, interview guide, and learning achievement test. Data analysis was performed through validity analysis and practicality analysis using descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that: the value of science teaching materials based on character values based on the K-13 curriculum, guidebooks, and worksheets fulfilled the established criteria, namely: valid, practical, and effective so that they were \"feasible\" to be implemented in the learning process in class. The object of research is Student of PGSD Campus V UNM Parepare. This type of research is a field research (field research). Data collection methods are used, namely (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method, ie an analysis of research that is intended to describe a particular factual situation systematically and accurately, which include data reduction, data display and data verification. The results showed that the internalization process of religious values carried in religious programs are: 1. Reading the Qur'an every start lectures, 2. Make the Journal of Worship, 3. Following the SCIENCE program (Intensive study of the Qur'an) supportive factor and inhibiting the formation of a religious character in V UNM Campus Parepare is: a. The supporting factors: 1) factors from within the student psychologically support the implementation of internalization. 2) External factors: a) Family: family background of students, b) the competence of lecturers in teaching and to provide role models, c) facilities were insufficient for all student activities, d) Society as their place to socialize. b. The focus of the study was to find out the description of the learning motivation in elementary school at fifth grade students of the Cluster II in Tanete Riattang, Bone; to know the description of the results of students learning Indonesian in elementary school at fifth grade students of the Cluster II in Tanete Riattang, also to find an influence between learning motivation and Indonesian learning outcomes of the students in elementary school at fifth grade students of the Cluster II in Tanete Riattang, Bone. This research used a quantitative research design. This research used a expost-facto correlational research. Data of this research obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The population was all fifth grade students in Elementary School Cluster II in Tanete Riattang 2017/2018 academic year that are totally 240 students. The sample in this study amounted to 72 students. Data analysis of the study was descriptive statistical and inferential statistical analysis.
