Conventional evolutionary methods for the problems maintain a population for each task, and some offspring are generated by combining individuals in different tasks. The generated offspring are randomly assigned to tasks. However, the offspring may be assigned to inappropriate tasks. We propose a method that assigns them to appropriate tasks using a new criterion called search degree. The search degree represents how fast the solution search in each task progresses. The proposed method increases the probability of assigning the offspring to a task with a small search degree. Because of this, high voltage DC has been a field of interest in power electronics due to its capability in efficiently transmitting power to reach remote areas. Typical DC-DC electronic power converter design has the capability of boosting voltage level to a certain extent but not enough for high-voltage applications. Using the DMAIC Approach of the Six Sigma, quality improvements in the design was proposed to stabilize operating frequency, bring up the output voltage from 100 VDC to 4,000 VDC and provide at least 10% margin of error in the apparent power measured at the output side to offset inherent losses in the electrical design. These proposed quality improvements were sustained by designing a control circuit that would ensure the attainment of the parameters set in the Define Phase of the DMAIC Approach. This awakening of consciousness is happening as businesses grapple with growing volumes of data. No one wants to publicly expose their users’ data. The objective is not only to avoid sanctions but also bad media coverage and image damage when a company is the victim of a data breach. Personal and sensitive data should be confined to production environments and should not be copied to test environments, which poses a risk to its integrity. They should not be accessible in development and test databases to comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regulations and to protect company data from potential breaches. Anonymization is a recommended technique for replacing personal data with non-identifying data for use in a test environment. This paper presents a socio-technical approach to data anonymization using the Contextual Graphs formalism which can help to easily represent user practices and gradually add them to an experience database. Machine learning models employed to generate landslide susceptibility maps are artificial neural network (ANN), extreme gradient boosting (XGBOOST), support vector machine (SVM), and logistic regression (LR). The effects and contributions of the landslide influencing factors that cause landslides are determined using Pearson’s and distance correlation coefficients. Prior to the training phase of the models, these landslide factors are processed using normalization and principal component analysis (PCA) to improve the prediction ability. The comprehensive performance of the models are evaluated with classification accuracy and receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve. The obtained results of ROC indicate that ANN model, which has an accuracy of 96.43%, is the most accurate method for predicting the occurrence of landslides in Penang Island. This is critical for the conventional power sector, which operates on prolonged development cycles. As part of Pakistan's Ministry of Planning and Development, CPEC authority has been established. This authority supervises the progress of various projects under the CPEC framework. This framework leads the notion that today's investments in research and development directly impact the future of Sino-Pak dealings in energy sector. The authority features nine priorities, one of which is related to \"the energy cooperation\". The paper describes the findings of an in-depth investigation into this priority for energy cooperation in order to define the focus of future constructions. The TOPSIS (The Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) analysis is used to prioritize the projects. This overall situation presents an environmental problem due to their high organic load and the presence of toxic and inhibiting growth compounds. Photo-Fenton reaction can be used to degrade the pollutant compounds that present in OMWs. The degree of mixing inside the photoreactor is a key parameter to increase the photodegradation of organic matter. For this reason, experiments were performed in a semi-industrial batch stirred photo-reactor (10 L capacity). The agitation rates were varied in each experiment as follows 60, 150, 300, 400, and 500 rpm. The experimental results showed that the photoreaction has developed in two steps, an instantaneous reaction that takes place in the first five moments and a second reaction that is slower and lasts up to three hours. During the instantaneous reaction, the conversion based on total organic carbon (TOC) increases with the augment of agitation rate, however, during the second step the maximum conversion (XTOC = 0.9) is recorded at 300 rpm in the first 100 min. The common operating conditions were initial pH = 3, hydrogen peroxide equal to that determined by the stoichiometry of the reaction, oxidant/catalyst ratio = 0.03, temperature = 20 °C and four artificial ultraviolet lamps to provide sufficient ultraviolet irradiation. Current online social network services provide mechanisms to filter and block sensitive content. However, users of such services usually do not know why certain content has been blocked or what sensitive content is. There is a lack of measuring users’ acceptance of different explanations. Insufficient explanations will not prevent users from exposure to unwanted content. Thus, this paper explores the user’s perception of different explanations of blocked content. It investigates the associations between providing different types of explanations of blocked content and users’ previewing behavior. In this study, we conducted a user survey to understand the relationship between different explanations and both intention to click and previewing behavior. The survey included 254 participants that were recruited via Amazon Mechanical Turk. We performed several statistical analyses including linear and logistic regression analyses to the obtained responses. Based on the results of the study, blocked content explained as “sensitive” or “violent” reduced the users’ previewing behavior, while explaining blocked content as “sexual/nudity” increased the users’ previewing behavior. The results regarding usage factors indicated that when there was a high agreement from users to block unwanted content, the intention to not click on blocked content explained as “sensitive content” was high. This technology offers numerous advantages for drivers, but it is still vulnerable to serious security threats which target the interactions between the fob and car, which may eventually result in car theft. In this paper, we propose a blockchain-based approach to thwart replay attacks targeting cars equipped with RKE systems. We consider the key fob and the car as two separate users of a private blockchain in which a miner authenticates the key fob with the corresponding car to grant or deny access using a smart contract. A suitable approach is required to allow one system send the data to another system using standard data format. REST API is one approach can used for data integration using JSON format. Three processes are involved in this approach. There are extract data, send data, received and dump data. In this approach, SAP system will be sending the data in JSON to FEMS system. FEMS system will be exploded and dump the data into database FEMS.
