To enable a 5G compact size microstrip patch antenna plays an important role. A microstrip patch antenna array is being proposed in this paper which consists of six radiating patches and is fed using a microstrip line feeding technique. ROGER 3003 is employed as a dielectric material because of its advance and environment-friendly features which makes it suitable for the application of 5G and B5G.The designed antenna is evaluated based on its resonating frequency at 28.8GHz with a -10 dB impedance bandwidth of 1GHz. The antenna if offering a high gain of 9.19dBi. impedance and radiation coverage with a compact antenna array having low cost makes it to be a suitable candidate for 5G and beyond communication applications.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"263 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134153619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reflectivity is one of the difficulties in distinguishing a duplicate hologram from an authentic one. Due to the fact that a little change in lighting situation would entirely alter the hologram’s reflection pattern, a standardized detector for duplicate holograms has not yet been developed. In this work, hyperspectral imaging (HSI)-based housing module for distinguishing between authentic and counterfeit holograms was presented. The module included a Raspberry Pi 4 CPU, a Raspberry Pi camera, an LCD display, and an LED lighting system with a dimmer. A visible HSI algorithm capable of transforming a Raspberry Pi camera’s RGB picture into a hyperspectral image was developed. Mean gray value (MGV) and reflectivity measurements were performed on an area of interest (ROI) extracted from the spectral picture. Results indicated that shorter wavelengths are optimal for distinguishing holograms when using MGV as the classification criterion, but longer wavelengths are optimal when utilizing reflectivity. This design is distinguished by its cheap cost, simplicity, absence of moving components, and lack of need for an extra decoding key.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130829004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current research presented the classification of different pests using federated learning-based UAVs. The designed scenarios comprise four different sites connected with a global model where different parameters for these sites are received from the local model. State-of-the-art EfficientNet deep model with B03 configurations provides the best accuracy for classifying nine types of pests. The system can achieve an accuracy of 99.55% with the augmentation of images into different angles. The federated learning designed UAVs are the most reliable connection with very less computation power during the classification of pests for the agricultural environment.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115345985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

LPG cylinder distribution in India is one such business that requires organized operations and a quick delivery mechanism to deliver the order placed by the subscriber within a short period, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. Mainly, companies like Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum (HP) are significant stakeholders in LPG distribution in India and have set a target of delivery within a day post booking. Despite being an essential commodity, the distributors and the LPG companies find it challenging to deliver the cylinders within 24 hours post order placement due to various practical conditions. With this backdrop, this study proposes (a) a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and (b) conceptually a recommended system with a solution architect. The expected outcome of the study is to deliver the LPG cylinders within the committed lead time post order placement, thereby improving customer satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120976306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dates become ripe on these trees during the summer season. Monitoring the ripeness of these trees is an essential process to ensure good production of dates so that the farmer can derive maximum profit from his cultivation. It is easy to monitor the ripeness of dates with a naked eye when palm trees are fewer in number and short in height. However, a palm tree can become as tall as 75 feet (23 meters) and it becomes difficult to monitor the ripeness of such tall trees while at the ground-level, especially if there are several hundreds of these trees located in a farm. Manual method of climbing date palms using leather belts to detect the ripeness of dates is very dangerous because some palms may have thin and damaged trunks and the climber may fall to the ground from some height. In this paper, design of a drone-based system which can detect and monitor the ripeness of date palms by analyzing the images taken by a drone has been presented. The system can alert the farmer about the ripeness of dates through an Android-based App developed specifically for this purpose.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116438224","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Various pathological changes, and at times inherited problems cause such malignancies-the frequent being melanoma, myeloma, colon, lung, and breast cancers. There are several ways for identifying these cancers, however the process is very expensive and require experts. This project aims to create a web-based tool to detect these multiple malignancies. The project was split into two sections. In the first section, a detection model was created for each of the cancers. Then employed pre-trained convolutional neural network models to identify cancers using picture input. In the second part, these models were deployed on a website for detection. This website will help patients and doctors worldwide to diagnose these diseases without any advanced technology, which is very costly. We have merged all the cancer dataset and made a hybrid dataset for detection of all the cancer with only one model. The trained model gave 93% accuracy (3 classes with below 80% accuracy) on the test dataset without K-Fold and 93% accuracy (no individual class accuracy less than 80%) with K-Fold Cross Validation.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123819376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents an Augmented Reality (AR) application that can be used to market bespoke musical products such as drums. The AR application allows the users to experience a visual representation of custom-made musical drums through the help of their mobile phones. The AR application enables users to design, modify and review bespoke musical drums without visiting a musical instruments workshop. They could also communicate the alterations in real-time, saving them money and time. The AR functionality allows the users to view their bespoke musical drums in their rooms or studios to visualise how the drums will look once they are designed. The AR application was tested by 25 participants, who used it to create their bespoke solutions. The System Usability Scale (SUS) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis showed that the AR application received positive user feedback and can potentially aid the online personalised shopping experience.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"159 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123448443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The viability of innovative statistical indices is employed to describe performance in order to evaluate it. The effectiveness of the GA and PSO a is evaluated in comparison with its traditional counterparts (such as MVDR, MVDR, MUSIC, ESPRIT and UESPRIT) based on different metrics such as estimation accuracy, probability of resolution and computational robustness against the number of elements and noise. For validation assessments, Crammer Rao Bound (CRB) analysis is also performed, and outcomes from Monte Carlo runs show that the Genetic Algorithm (GA) outperforms its analogue in terms of complexity indices, convergence, and precision.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128632983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem facing SME development efforts in emerging economies, however, is a lack of sustainability of the sector, largely due to high operational costs and reduced profitability. Given the centrality of goods transportation in almost all trades, improvement in operational efficiencies could help reduce costs for most SMEs in the logistics industry. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) have ushered in the rise of smart robotics solutions to the evolution of autonomous vehicles (AVs) innovations. The authors sought to understand the potential AVs have in (i) reducing operational costs, (ii) improving logistical efficiencies, (iii) and increasing revenue and profitability, which should improve the sustainability of SMEs. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to explore the reasons SMEs in the logistics industry have such high failure rates and what role AVs could play in addressing some of those challenges. On this point, funding, regulations, delivery times, road safety and fatalities, and driver skills are just some of the operational challenges for SMEs in the logistics industry. It was found that AVs have the potential to address some of these challenges but that an appropriate AV technology adoption framework model is required.","PeriodicalId":241355,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Engineering and Emerging Technologies (ICEET)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128522586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
