The authors used the pre-existing mini batch distillation column which has been integrated into a Cyber-Physical System by the previous research. Then, some minor modification in the network structure were added to enable the implementation of data driven control. The data driven control itself consists of a machine learning with Recurrent Neural Network model to mimic the behavior of the physical system and a Mataheuristics-based PID tuner such as Genetic Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization to adjust the plant's controller over time. The performance of the system was then compared with the conventional PID control scheme and also human in the loop control.","PeriodicalId":236517,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114425415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The volatile patterns collected from the electronic nose were initially subjected to principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA) for clustering observation. Then, support vector machines (SVM) with different kernels (linear and radial basis function) was used in order to classify tea samples in three distinct quality levels namely, quality level one (Q1), quality level two (Q2), and quality level three (Q3). The results showed that SVM with radial basis function kernel provided good discrimination of tea samples regarding the quality levels. The overall correct classification of the three sensory quality levels was 98% showing the correct classification for Q1, Q2, and Q3 to be 96, 98, and 100%, respectively.","PeriodicalId":236517,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125010888","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Method chunk is one of the terms used for method part in Situational Method Engineering (SME). SME is an engineering process to construct a new situational software development method which is composed from method parts. The method part can be extracted from any existing software development method which is described in various terms and notations. Applying SME in a software project will improve the quality of the software product, since it uses a project specific (or situational) method. The proposed metamodel is described using Object Management Group (OMG)'s standard for method modeling, called Essence Framework, which defines Essence Kernel and Language. Later, the proposed metamodel can be used by various method chunk providers as a guidance in method chunk modeling. Using OMG's standard in the method chunk modeling will increase interoperability in applying SME since method chunks from various provider will use the same notations. The elements of the proposed metamodel are defined based on existing method part metamodels. This metamodel also includes the context model as additional attributes of a situational method chunk. Essence kernel elements such as alpha, activity space, and competency are used to describe elements in the proposed metamodel. Evaluation of the proposed metamodel is conducted by checking the completeness of method chunk elements, and by instantiate essence-based method chunks using the proposed metamodel.","PeriodicalId":236517,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125012408","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This subjectivity could be eliminated by establishing an instrument that is able to determine blood pressure level automatically. One of the ideas that could be proposed for developing an automatic blood pressure monitor is to automatize auscultatory method. This review presented recent development of automatic blood pressure monitor by recording Korotkoff sound and processing it digitally to determine blood pressure level and phases of the sounds that believed was associated with physiological condition. The reviewed studies showed that by processing Korotkoff sounds, the measurement results were accurate if compared with conventional method since their correlation coefficient is greater than 0.95 and the errors that obtained are less than 5 mmHg. The future work of this review is to design a similar instrumentation with different signal processing methods, i.e. discrete wavelet transform and peak finder algorithm.","PeriodicalId":236517,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICEEI)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123660509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

NDN provides better network performance since the caching policy of the NDN router saving the content requested by the user and make it accessible by another user. The current popular replacing policy that adopted from TCP/IP network is Least Recently Used (LRU) and Least Frequency Used (LFU). However, in a low condition of cache size, both algorithms not powerful yet. In this paper, we evaluate replacement policy in NDN using Least Recently/Frequency Used (LRFU) compared with LRU algorithm. Moreover, our approach based on C++ programming language to simulate the LRFU caching policy in Named Data Networking. Overall results shows that LRFU replacement policy in NDN provides higher hit rate and lower miss rate. Based on 20000 generated interest, LRFU replacement policy achieve 3578 average hit which is 18.398% greater than LRU with average hit 3022. The aim is to reduce real power losses without exceeding the limits of their capabilities in small-scale power systems. Hybrid time varying nonlinear particle swarm optimization and genetic algorithm (HTVNLPSOGA) is applied to solve ORPD problems. The parameters of inertia weight and acceleration factors are made to change nonlinearly so that the speed of particles in the process of exploration and exploitation is more adaptive. Several comparisons with previous studies to see the capabilities of the proposed algorithm. The IEEE 14-bus system has been used to examine and test the methods presented. The simulation results show that the HTVNLPSOGA method when finding the optimal solution is capable of convergence with the number of search iterations below 10 iterations. In addition, this method is able to minimize real power losses of 12.3569 MW.
