Microscopic specimens of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys and intestines have been reviewed, divided by the proposed four levels of pathological changes and comparable between the two groups, depending on the presence of AСS (25 and 28 patients).</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Results: When comparing in two groups the levels of lesions of each studied organ, according to given levels of change, a statistically significant difference between groups in the level of kidney and intestine lesions (P <0.05, Mann-Whitney U-Test) was obtained. The changes in moderate and severe levels were significantly dominating in the microscopic specimens of the kidneys and intestines of group A compared to group B (p <0.001).</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: Histopathological changes in the examined organs of patients who died from severe acute pancreatitis complicated by abdominal compartment syndrome were characterized by more pronounced ischemic and inflammatory damage in the kidneys and intestines. The variability of extrapancreatic pathological changes in SAP patients depended on intra-abdominal pressure levels. Information about antibiotics prescription pattern in Al-Ramadi hospitals had been collected from urinary tract infected patients using the Biomérieux VITEK2 compact system.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Results: Out of 67 specimens obtained from Urinary tract infection, fifty-two isolates were E. coli, eight isolates were Klebsiella pneumoniae, four were Burkholderia cepacian, and two were Raoultella spp and only one isolate Acetobacter aceti. The data analysis revealed that females had a higher prevalence of infection than males, with 41(68.30%) and 26(38.80%), respectively.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: Resistance rates have shown variations over the years, they have typically remained elevated for antibiotics commonly employed in the empirical management of urinary tract infections. Therefore, we presented a model illustrating the interrelation of competency formation and learning outcomes (LOs) through the lens of qualification characteristics and higher education standards for the specialty, interpreted in the information-educational environment model NMU_DIGITAL.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: Medical and pharmaceutical education must adapt to modern standards and tools, regardless of whether they relate to treatment, prevention, rehabilitation, or management activities. Data processing was performed using the Microsoft ® Excel ® software package (trial version); statistical processing of results was performed using the statistical analysis software package Statsoft ®Statistica ® ver. 10 (STA999K347156-W) and IBM ® SPSS 25.0 (trial version).</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Results: According to the results of the study, numerous health problems associated with an unhealthy lifestyle are observed in Ukraine: physical inactivity, bad habits (use of alcoholic beverages and psychoactive substances, smoking), excessive communication on social networks, lack of safe sexual behavior skills. To increase the level of awareness of young people about a healthy lifestyle, we modeled the administration of services for the formation of a healthy lifestyle in the field of primary health care by a family doctor.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: One of the main links in the formation of a healthy lifestyle is the professional approach of this family doctor in the framework of performing his direct functions of eliminating habits and behavior that pose a risk to health and forming healthy lifestyle skills. {"title":"Aerobic skin microbiota study in patients with paratraumatic eczema developed as a result of combat injuries.","authors":"Svitlana Dzhoraieva, Yanina Kutasevych, Oksana Sokol, Valentina Honcharenko, Hanna Kondakova, Iryna Oliinyk, Olha Oliinyk","doi":"10.36740/WLek/197131","DOIUrl":"10.36740/WLek/197131","url":null,"abstract":"<p><strong>Objective: </strong>Aim: To establish taxonomic composition, population level and microecological indicators of the \"macroorganism-microbiota\" ecosystem by determining the expression levels of individual pathogenicity factors of microorganisms isolated from the skin areas of patients with paratraumatic eczema developed as a result of combat injuries.</p><p><strong>Patients and methods: </strong>Materials and Methods: Studied microbiologically eczematous lesions content in 54 military men to determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of microbiocenosis to analyze the taxonomic composition, population-species level, microecological indicators and expression levels of individual pathogenicity factors.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Results: The results indicate that most eczematized areas are contaminated with S.aureus (48.1% ) with the highest level of quantitative dominance. The rate of quantitative dominance of other strains is significantly lower: S.epidermidis - 2.56 times, S.haemolyticus - 4.56 times, S.pyogenes - 5.86 times, E.faecalis and K.pneumoniae - 20.56 times. When determining the sensitivity of S. aureus clinical strains to antibacterial drugs, we established high levels of sensitivity to mupirocin, fusidic acid, and oxazolidinones - 95.1%, 90.2%, and 87.8%, respectively. Moreover, S. aureus dominated among the strains with a high ability to form biofilms - 68.2%, with an average ability - S epidermidis, 28.8%.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: S.aureus is the leading pathogen in the infectious-allergic process with paratraumatic eczema according to the constancy index of each taxon, frequency of manifestation, Margalef's species richness index, Whittaker's species diversity, the value of Simpson's and Berger-Parter's species dominance indices, as well as the population level of each taxon, the coefficient of quantitative dominance and the coefficient of significance. Dental plaque and gut microbiome may be related to EBS in the temporary dentition. The literature suggests a decreased caries prevalence in the presence of EBS which associated with low incidence of caries in children. The nature of the black pigmentation is suggested to be a form of bacterial plaque with an insoluble ferric salt. Tabaco smoke, food and antibiotics that can be also a risk factors for EBS. There are some clinical and localization features that dentist have to pay attention for. Many diseases of various systems and organs are directly related to black plaque. Sub-elite - athletes of puberty age, which included: girls (n=32), average age 13.96±1.02 years; boys (n=36), average age 14.88±2.32 years. 2. Youth acrobats (elite athletes): girls (n=30), average age 19.36±2.86 years; young men (n=34), average age 20.38±2.89. The computer program \"Diagnost-1\" was used in researches.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>Results: In female acrobats, the latency period of simple visual-motor information, the latent period of the visual-motor reaction to choosing two out of three stimuli are statistically different from those of young acrobats. Boys acrobats are faster in terms of functional mobility of nervous processes than girls in both age categories (at p<0.05). A greater amount of processed information was found in acrobat boys than in adolescent girls. According to the indicators of cognitive characteristics features of sexual dimorphism between acrobats of different age categories were revealed due to different information processing strategies taking into account sexual characteristics.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: Boys-acrobats of puberty and adolescence showed more effective processing of simple and complex visual-motor information compared to girls-acrobats of the same age categories. Electronic Scopus and Pubmed databases were searched for articles on the studied topic. The review included original articles, research, and official recommendations from medical associations.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Conclusions: Side effects of antidepressants can reduce treatment adherence and delay recovery. Therefore, it is extremely important to consider possible side effects when choosing a therapy. While there is no perfect antidepressant that works quickly and is completely free of side effects, newer antidepressants are safer, better tolerated, and associated with lower rates of treatment failure. Most side effects occur as a consequence of the basic mechanism of action of the drugs. We examined the outcomes of 11 individual clinical trials in conjunction with existing literature to assess the effectiveness of nutritional interventions. Our focus encompassed protein nutrition and its components, the provision of vitamin D. Furthermore, we explored the influence of these substances in addressing sarcopenia within the context of concurrent conditions like osteoporosis, fractures, stroke, or chronic kidney disease. Sarcopenia is a disease of the skeletal muscles that causes a decline in muscle function and mass, which affects mainly elderly people. A progressive course leads to multiple serious complications, such as increased mortality, falls, and co-morbidity. Sarcopenia treatment is limited to physical activity, mainly resistance exercise training and nutritional interventions... Our investigation underscores the significant role of proper nutrition in the treatment process.
