Likewise with school counselors, measuring students' career self-efficacy will help them understand and develop strategies to develop students' career plans. For this reason, a valid and reliable career efficacy measurement tool is needed. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of student career success scale based on RASCH modeling. Participants in this study were 30 students who were involved as respondents in a 25-item career self-efficacy test. Rasch analysis was made by the WINSTEPS 3.73 program to evaluate the Indonesian version of the career self-efficacy scale by looking at the validity and reality of the item-person fit measure, Cronbach's alpha value, item-person separation index, dimensions, response patterns in the scalogram, and bias items according to gender. The results of this study indicate that of the 25 items there are 5 items that are out of fit or do not meet the RASCH measurement model. The reliability of the Cronbach Alpha scale is 0.96 or very high. The total gross variance described by the measure is 47%, which means this scale is able to predict students' career self-efficacy quite accurately. Overall, it can be concluded that the Indonesian version of the student career self-efficacy scale has good psychometric properties so that it can be used for assessment and research.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"21 12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128253905","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Rasch model used on this study to get more accurate information about the scales fit and properties. The online survey involved 30 students of junior high school in east of Java Indonesia. There were 71 items of technology addiction from five dimension by initial development. Rasch analysis preform by WINSTEPS 3.73 program to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Indonesian version of technology addictive scale by exanimating the item-person fit measure, alpha Cronbach value, items-person separations index, dimensionality, the response pattern in scalogram, and items biases by gender. The results of this study show that’s there was 6 from 71 items that do not meet on the fit criteria and must be eliminated from the scale. The pattern of students’ response of every item this scale show that’s there were two respondents who indicated exchanging answers, this can be seen from the pattern of respondents' answers which only had differences in the pattern of answers in only three statements. The reliability of person and items in good criteria, 0.91 for item and 0,78 for person, and alpha Cronbach 0,82 is moderate good value. The DIF analysis show that’s there were five items gender biases and need to rewrite by the new statement. From total 64 items, the total value of the row variance explain by measure is 98.7%, it means this scale able and with good prediction to measure the technology addiction of the students. The conclusion of the study is about the 64 items of Indonesian version technology addiction scale for student is meet criteria to be a good measurement tool from the Rasch perfective.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121920910","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method used is qualitative—the procedure used for data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using a data reduction model, data presentation, and verification. The resource persons for this study were ten parents with Down Syndrome children and servants of God involved in pastoral care for families with Down Syndrome children in Jakarta. The results showed that the community for parents with Down Syndrome children is essential because it provides reinforcement and support in mentoring children with down syndrome. After attending formal and informal therapy, Down syndrome children have significant developments that enable DS children to be independent. The primary model of parental assistance is holistically providing whole love and providing therapies, especially music and spiritual therapy.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131690263","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Still, it must be gradual, reasonable, healthy, and following the growth, abilities, and nature of the age that is being passed. Here, parents must be able to capture the positive trends of child development to be very important. Parents' obligation is to motivate and direct children to a positive outcome, even though the tendency is not following the parents' wishes. This, Islam teaches that in caring for children not to differentiate between boys and girls, eldest or youngest children, normal or abnormal children, parents still provide the same opportunity to obtain educational services following their potential, talents, and interests. Children must be treated fairly and not discriminatory. It raises questions of parents' motivation to participate in their children's therapy while no research in Indonesia examines this topic. The current study aims to understand the description of parents' motivation to participate in their child therapy. This qualitative study was conducted by interviewing 3 mothers (age 23-36 years) whose children (age 3-5 years) undergo brain gym therapy at a psychology bureau in Bandung. They are from the same socioeconomic class, have joined the therapy program for at least one month, and were selected using the purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the underlying motivation for parental participation in child therapy is parents' need for a change in the child's condition and parents' expectation of the therapeutic outcome. Therapy results that match expectations and positive responses from the environment act as reinforcers that make parents willing to continue participating in child therapy.","PeriodicalId":236383,"journal":{"name":"Bisma The Journal of Counseling","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129622832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
