These unique signatures can be utilized to identify similar objects on a land used/ land cover. In this paper, a neutrally augmented methodology for efficient object identification using hyperspectral images has been proposed. In the proposed scheme, first, the training samples of the known objects (viz. road, soil, and vegetation) are extracted from the hyperspectral cube. An elementary two-stage feed-forward artificial neural network (ANN) was then employed for correct identification of road, soil, and vegetation, within the training image. In the first stage of ANN, principal component analysis (PCA) has been applied for dimensionality reduction (retaining about 99.5% information) whereas the second stage has a simpler 15 neuron feed forward (FF) back-propagation (BP) ANN for correct identification of different objects. Eventually, the proposed scheme has been verified with the image of San Joachim field site located in California (NEON Domain 17). This hyperspectral cube has a size of 477 ∗ 502 ∗ 426. All the corresponding pixels representing road, soil, and vegetation in the aforesaid image have been identified with 100% accuracy using the proposed scheme.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126214287","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed antenna is designed by using fractal technique and the antenna can be used for different wireless applications as per FCC standards such as WiMAX (3.3–3.7), point to point high speed wireless communication (5.92–8.5) and WLAN (4.82–5.95). All the antennas are designed by using FR4 epoxy substrate with dielectric constant of 4.4 and thickness 1.6mm. The results of proposed antenna are compared with the existing antennas (Koch, sierpinski, composite and wide band fractal antennas). It has been analyzed that the proposed antenna shows the better results as compared to the existing antennas. The existing antennas works on three or four frequency bands of operation, where as proposed antenna works of seven different resonant frequency bands. Values of gain and return loss of the designed antenna is at acceptable level for all the frequency bands. This shows that the designed antenna is suitable for the different wireless applications.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126748343","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of AMB is growing very rapidly nowadays in current industries because of swift progress made in electronic devices and control structure algorithms. AMB finds application in the areas of Aerospace, Maglev transportation, high speed precision devices, and biomedical apparatus etc. In this paper a discussion on performance analysis of AMB systems both analytically and numerically have been reviewed. Finite Element Method (FEM) serves as a tool for this kind of numerical analysis. Also different control strategies and model order reduction has been mentioned for AMB systems. For modeling of AMB systems, the opportunities of fruitfully using MOR is indicated. Particularly the scope of application of parametric model order reduction in AMBs for varying parameter has been pointed out.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126795444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Antenna is designed using Teflon in order to achieve the highest possible characteristics like gain and return loss with ease in conformal antenna designing. The motivation for this work was to devise a radiation element which has ability to conform to cylindrical shapes and for flexible BAN (Body area Network) and RFID applications. Also, this paper shows the advantage of triangular patch antenna as compared to rectangular patch design when fabricated on cylindrical substrate. We show that Teflon is not only cost efficient, as compare to other substrates, but also, shows good radiation characteristics with respect to simulated results and has tolerable limitations for operating temperature and excitation. Full wave approach is used to study designing equations for the radiating conformal patch. Finally, some numerical and graphical results are simulated and presented for the discussed application.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124322916","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since data is shared in unbounded medium, so security attacks in wireless communication is more in comparison of other medium. Physical layer security (PLS) provides a new idea to consider the issues related to security. The effect of relaying schemes in traditional and pessimistic scenario has been performed in terms of secrecy rate. The situation in which relay helps the eavesdropper is assumed as pessimistic scenario. The obtained numerical results shows that for pessimistic scenario, DF relaying outperforms AF if source-relay channel gain is greater than an optimum value. Moreover, for better eavesdropper channel also, a non-zero secrecy rate is possible for relay-destination channel gain greater than a particular value using relaying schemes in traditional scenario.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124767398","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In 2014, Bring-your-own-key and encryption emerged as a possible key management solution to problem of securing data at rest in Cloud. It is yet far from being practically implemented. At present, all available literature provides the consumer perspective of BYOK techniques. Very few have analyzed the research aspects in this field. This paper discusses the implementation issues of BYOE; challenges open for research and the technical requirements of a practitioner wishing to develop such methods. Also, this paper proposes how useful fully Homomorphic encryption is for implementation of BYOK/E. To classify such big data is a challenging task with standard data mining techniques. This paper presents a Map Reduce based algorithm with Gaussian mixture model(GMM), Logistic regression(LR) and Random forest classifier(RFC). While, map phase determines the probabilities and class labels of the test data, the reduce phase predicts the class labels of test data by aggregating results from all the mappers. We have analyzed these algorithms on the basis of test accuracy, run time and number of mappers on multiple big data sets.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130846068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It promises significant improvements in spectral efficiency and network coverage. It is a major candidate for Fourth generation wireless communication system. The use of Two-way Relay Communication (TWRC) with the MIMO system helps the communication to take place at a faster rate and improve the spectral efficiency of the system. In this paper, we study the BER performances of the CMIMO system using two-way relay under Rayleigh flat fading channel. The relay employs Equalize-and-Forward (EF) and Joint Decode-and-Forward (JDF) relaying protocols. The MIMO system uses spatial multiplexing at the transmitter, the receiver uses Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) linear signal detection method. Spatial multiplexing is use to increase the data rate of the system. The absence of closed form solutions for manipulators leads to complex, time-consuming inverse kinematics analysis. In this paper, two different learning based accurate and relatively fast procedure for the calculation of all the joint angles for a specified given pose, is proposed for five DOF Dexter robotic manipulator. In first method, process of spatial decomposition is applied, and model parameters are estimated using a machine learning based method, support vector regression, that leads to less error and fast computing, and suitable for real-time applications. Second learning architecture is neural network based kohonen self organizing map (KSOM) method in which whole workspace discretion is done into three dimensional lattice and then clustered space is mapped using Taylor series expansion and gradient descent algorithm. Effective results using both learning based method have been shown for five DOF robotic arm.","PeriodicalId":234609,"journal":{"name":"2016 11th International Conference on Industrial and Information Systems (ICIIS)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133589152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
