Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII I MTs Nurul Iman yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data pada siklus I rata-rata motivasi belajar siswa adalah 53,1 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 58,4. Adapun rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 71,3 dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,1. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan <em>model discovery</em> learning dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar.</p><p class=\"AfiliasiCxSpMiddle\" align=\"left\"> </p><p class=\"AfiliasiCxSpLast\" align=\"left\"><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>:</p><p>Model Discovery Learning, Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar Matematika</p><p> </p><p class=\"AfiliasiCxSpFirst\" align=\"left\"><strong><em>Abstract:</em></strong></p><p class=\"AfiliasiCxSpMiddle\"><em>This study aims to improve the motivation to learn and the results of learning mathematics students class VIII MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa material </em><em>flat face three dimensional</em><em> by applying model discovery learning. This study is the research action class consisting of the planning, action, observations, and reflection. The subject of this study is students class VIII MTs Nurul Iman Tanjung Morawa that numbered in 34 students. Based on date analysis on the cycle I average motivation to learn of students is 53,1 and on the cycle II increased to 58,4. As an average of the results of learning students in the cycle I was 71,3 and on the cycle II increased to 81,1. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X MAN 1 Medan yang berjumlah tiga siswa dimana masing-masing mewakili siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperiksa dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah tinggi menggunakan metakognisi sadar yaitu perencanaan, pemantauan dan evaluasi dalam memecahkan masalah matematika; siswa dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sedang menggunakan metakognisi secara sadar, hanya menggunakan perencanaan dan pemantauan dan tidak mengevaluasi saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika; Selanjutnya siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah rendah secara sadar menggunakan metakognisinya hanya menggunakan perencanaan, belum mampu memonitor dan mengevaluasi pada saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Kata Kunci : Metakognisi, Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Abstract: This research is a qualitative which aims to describe the metacognition of senior high school students grade X in solving math problems about three-variable system of linear equation. The subjects were students of grade X MAN 1 Medan. They were three students, each representing students with high, medium, and low problem solving abilities. The data was collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was checked by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results showed that students with high problem solving abilities used conscious metacognition, namely planning, monitoring and evaluation in solving mathematical problems; students with moderate problem solving abilities are using metacognition consciously, only using plannin and monitoring and not evaluating when solving math problems; Furthermore, students who have low problem solving abilities consciously use their metacogniques only using planning, have not been able to monitor and evaluate at the time of solving mathematical problems. Ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap pembelajaran matematika disebut dengan disposisi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh disposisi matematis terhadap prestasi belajar <em>e-learning</em> mahasiswa Tadris Matematika (TMA) Semester III IAIN Takengon. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa TMA IAIN Takengon. Sample dipilih dengan teknik <em>purposive sampling</em> yaitu mahasiswa TMA semester III. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes dan non tes. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji heteroskedastisitas, dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan pengujian regresi diketahui nilai sig = 0,003 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa disposisi matematis memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar <em>e-learning</em>. Selain itu diperoleh nilai R <em>square</em> = 0,848 menunjukan bahwa variabel disposisi matematis mempengaruhi variabel prestasi belajar <em>e-learning</em> sebesar 84,8% dan sebesar 16, 4% variabel prestasi belajar <em>e-learning</em> dipengaruhi faktor diluar disposisi matematis. Besarnya koefisien korelasi (R) adalah 0,921 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara disposisi matematis dengan prestasi belajar <em>e-learning</em>. Model regresinya adalah Y = -41,300 + 1,158 X. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa kelas VII-1 SMP IT AL-Azhar Banda Aceh yang dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya indikator keterlibatan yang dipenuhi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi keterlibatan siswa dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang telah divalidasi. Data dianalisis dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis ditinjau dari keterlibatan siswa melalui pendekatan RME sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pencapaian kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang ditinjau dari keterlibatan siswa terhadap 4 orang subjek sudah berada pada katagori baik, artinya subjek telah memperoleh pembelajaran dengan baik karena pada saat pembelajaran subjek terlibat aktif serta memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang baik. Penggunaan pendekatan RME juga membangkitkan semangat siswa agar terlibat dalam pembelajaran serta memperoleh kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang baik. Namun, terdapat dua subjek dengan keterlibatan serta kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam pembelajaran yang masih rendah. They were observed based on students’ involvement in studying quadrilateral through the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). This research was a qualitative research. The subjects in this research were 6 students of class VII-1 Islamic Junior High School AL-Azhar Banda Aceh who were selected based on the number of certain indicators that were fulfilled. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation of students’ involvement, and tests of mathematical communication skills. The instruments for data collection had been previously validated. The data were analyzed by doing data reduction, data presentation , and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it c ould be concluded that students' mathematical communication skills observed based on students’ involvement in the learning quadrilateral through the RME approach were good. This c ould be seen from the achievement of 4 students who accomplished good chategory in mathematical communication skills . This show ed that the subject s ha d learned well because at the time of learning , the students actively involved and accomplished good mathematical communication skills. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh siswa dari salah satu SMP swasta yang berada di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas VIII sebanyak 30 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan 30 orang pada kelas kontrol yang diambil secara acak menggunakan cluster random sampling. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang berbentuk essay test dan angket keterampilan sosial siswa dalam skala likert pada mata pelajaran matematika. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai sig = 0.00001 < α = 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan sikap keterampilan sosial yang diperoleh siswa antara pembelajaran kooperatif tipeSTAD dengan pembelajaran langsung. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan sikap keterampilan sosial siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kooperatif tipeSTAD lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung. This research is a type of quantitative research using a quasi-experimental model with a pre-test-post-test control group design. The population in this study included all students from one of private junior high school in Percut Sei Tuan. The sample in this study involved 30 class VIII students in the experimental class and 30 people in the control class who were taken randomly using cluster random sampling. The type of data in this research is quantitative data. The instruments used to obtain the data in this study were a test of mathematical problem-solving abilities in the form of an essay test and a questionnaire for students' social skills on a Likert scale in mathematics. Pengamatan awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School ditemukan bahwa kemampuan Matematika permulaan anak tergolong rendah dan kegiatan pembelajarannya berpusat pada guru sehingga anak tidak aktif menemukan konsep dan tidak ada pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Padahal karakteristik anak usia dini adalah belajar melalui bermain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan dengan menerapkan permainan memancing angka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 21 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: penggunaan permainan memancing angka (sebagai tindakan) berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan tercapainya skor persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,4% pada siklus II. Penemuan lain dari hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: respon anak saat memancing angka sangat senang, antusias, aktif, dan memahami Matematika permulaan dengan konsep nyata. Berdasarkan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa dari sebanyak 36 orang siswa diperoleh sebanyak 6 orang siswa (16,6%) termasuk kategori tinggi, kemudian sebanyak 28 orang atau (77,77%) termasuk kategori sedang dan sebanyak 2 orang (5,55%) termasuk kategori rendah. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada tahap memahami masalah, merencanakan strategi dan melaksanakan strategi sudah dapat mengerjakannya, namun pada indikator mengecek kembali jawaban sebahagian siswa yang tidak melakukannya. Kata Kunci : Pemecahan Masalah, Matematika Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how the students' mathematical problem solving abilities were. This research is a qualitative research. The research subjects were students of grade XI MIPA 1. The research data were collected by giving tests of mathematical problem solving abilities in the form of descriptions and interviews. Data were analyzed using an interactive model according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and data verification. Based on the research, it was concluded that: out of 36 students, 6 students (16.6%) were in the high category, then 28 people or (77.77%) were in the moderate category and as many as 2 people (5.55%) belongs to the low category. From this research, it was found that the problem solving ability of students at the stage of understanding the problem, planning strategies and implementing the strategy was able to do it, but on the indicators, some students checked the answers that did not do it. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX semester genap tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan soal persamaan kuadrat siswa melakukan kesalahan; (1) kesalahan konsep, (2) kesalahan prosedur, (3) kesalahan operasi. Guru hendaknya tidak hanya berfokus pada materi yang disampaikan tetapi juga fokus untuk dapat membangkitkan minat dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Selain itu, guru hendaknya menggunakan model pembelajaran yang menarik yang membuat siswa berpikir lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang diberikan pada soal. Kata Kunci : Kesalahan, Persamaan Kuadrat Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find out the errors of the students and analyze the factors that cause students to mistake in solving quadratic equation material. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research is located at SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota class IX even semester 2019/2020 school year. The subjects of the study were grade IX students at SMPN 2 Bangkinang Kota by taking a sample of 10 students. The technique of collecting data using the test and interview methods. Based on the results of data analysis it can be concluded in solving the quadratic problem students make mistakes; (1) concept errors, (2) procedural errors, (3) operation errors. The contributing factor is the ability to understand students who are low in mastering concepts, so that mastery of the concept of material is needed based on factoring. The teacher waits not only to discuss the material presented but also to focus on supporting students' interests and motivation in learning mathematics. In addition, the teacher tries to use an interesting learning model that makes students think more actively and creatively in solving problems given to the problems. Populasi dalam penelitian ini meliputi seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika salah satu universitas yang berada di Medan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan mahasiswa semester IV sebanyak 42 orang pada kelas eksperimen dan 41 orang pada kelas kontrol yang diambil secara acak menggunakan cluster random sampling. Jenis data dalam penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar pada mata kuliah metode numerik yang berbentuk essay test. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik inferensial menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai sig = 0.00001 < α = 0,05 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar pada mata kuliah metode numerik antara mahasiswa yang diberi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang diberi pembelajaran langsung. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan rata-rata hasil belajar metode numerik mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran langsung. Oleh karena itu, disarankan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk dosen matematika dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar metode numerik mahasiswa. Abstract:The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in student learning outcomes taught by the type of jigsaw cooperative learning with students who are given direct learning. This research is one type of quantitative research using a quasi-experimental model with a pre-test-post-test control group design. The population in this study included all mathematics education students at a university in Medan. The sample in this study involved 42 semester IV students in the experimental class and 41 people in the control class who were taken randomly using cluster random sampling. The type of data in this research is quantitative data. The instrument used to obtain data in this study was a learning outcome test in a numerical method subject in the form of an essay test. Data were analyzed using inferential statistics using t-test.
