Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan bahan ajar berupa modul matematika SMP berbasis cerita bergambar dan berkarakter rasa peduli sosial. Cerita bergambar merupakan media dalam menyampaikan informasi berupa materi pembelajaran matematika materi perbandingan. Rasa peduli sosial merupakan karakter yang harus dimiliki untuk dapat menjalankan hidup bermasyarakat sebagai makhluk sosial. Proses pengembangan modul ini mengadaptasi model yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel. Model 4D melalui 4 tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Pada penelitian ini modul dikembangkan dengan tahap define, design dan develop. Pada tahap define ditetapkan dan didefinisikan syarat-syarat pembelajaran. Tahap design peneliti mempersiapkan prototipe perangkat pembelajaran. Tahap develop dihasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah direvisi berdasarkan masukkan para pakar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan modul matematika berbasis cerita bergambar berkarakter rasa peduli sosial valid dan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan kelayakan bahan ajar berbasis cerita bergambar dan berkarakter rasa peduli sosial pada materi perbandingan untuk siswa SMP yang dikembangkan. AbstractThis study aims to produce a mathematics learning module based on picture stories and social care behavior. This study examines the development of teaching materials in the form of story-based junior high school mathematics modules with social care behavior. Picture stories are a medium for conveying information in the form of comparative mathematics learning materials. A sense of social care is a character that must be possessed to be able to live in society as a social being. The process of developing this module adapts the model put forward by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. The 4D model goes through 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. In this study, the module was developed using the define, design, and developing stages. At the define stage, the learning requirements are determined and defined. In the design phase, the researcher prepares a prototype of the learning device. The development stage produces learning tools that have been revised based on input from experts. The results showed that the development of a picture story-based mathematics module with a sense of social care was valid and good. The company has 3 stores and supplies Bella square veils from 3 different warehouses. This of course has an impact on the company's expenses considering the distance and the increasing number of requests. The researcher tries to find a solution by using the linear program transportation solution method. Researchers processed data from the Ayasha Hijab Company with the NWC model and then second processing to get optimal results with stepping stones and MODI. As a result, the optimal cost for the stepping stone and MODI models is IDR 5.125.000. The Stepping Stone and MODI methods get the optimal solution and can save costs around IDR. 3.350.000 from the NWC method with a cost of IDR. 8.475.000. Secondary data obtained from the calculation of \"Ayasha Hijab Store\" has a minimum cost of around IDR. 10.000.000. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dipengaruhi oleh daya nalar yang dimilki siswa di mana daya nalar identik dengan kecerdasan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan cara menganalisis jawaban siswa yang bertujuan untuk memperoleh dekripsi kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal program linear. Subjek penelitian dikelompokkan ke dalam tiga kelompok kategori, yaitu kelompok siswa dengan IQ tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Subjek penelitian ini akan diambil dari masing-masing kategori, terdiri atas 3 orang siswa dengan IQ tinggi, 3 orang siswa dengan IQ sedang, dan 3 orang siswa dengan IQ rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data diperiksa dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa siswa dengan IQ tinggi sudah mampu untuk menyelesaikan soal sesuai dengan indikator pemecahan masalah, yaitu memahami masalah dengan baik, kemudian mampu membuat perencanaan, selanjutnya dapat melaksanakan rencana tersebut serta mampu menarik kesimpulan dari jawaban. Sementara itu, siswa dengan IQ sedang dan rendah masih kesulitan dalam menjalankan rencana pemecahan masalah dan memeriksa kembali jawaban. AbstractProblem-solving ability is a very important aspect for students to master because it is a process of applying previously acquired knowledge or experience to new, unknown situations. Mathematical problem-solving abilities are influenced by the reasoning power of students. Reasoning power is synonymous with intelligence. This research is a qualitative research conducted by analyzing students' answers to obtain a description of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in solving linear programming questions. The research subjects were grouped into three categories, namely groups of students with high, medium, and low IQs. The subjects of this study will be taken from each category, consisting of 3 students with high IQ, 3 students with moderate IQ, and 3 students with low IQ. Data collection techniques used are tests, interviews, and documents. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The ethnographic stages in this study were determining the research subjects, conducting observations and interviews during the game, taking notes on the results, and analyzing the findings. Data collection was carried out through library research, videos, observations, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis techniques were carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Data analysis was carried out to identify the mathematical concepts and character values contained in the traditional Javanese odd game. The mathematical concepts found are the concept of addition, the concept of subtraction, the concept of multiplication, the concept of a number comparison, the concept of fractions, the concept of capital and returns, and the concept of profit and loss. The values contained in the traditional Javanese game of oddity are character patience, honing emotional abilities, obeying rules, self-confidence, independence, and sportsmanship. The development of students’ geometric thinking ability is based on Van Hiele’s level of geometric thinking. This study follows a quantitative research approach with an experimental method. The samples of this study are two groups of ninth-grade students at MTsN 3 Pariaman city. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a geometric thinking ability test for Geometry Transformation material. The data were analyzed by using a Mann-Whitney test. The results indicate that the geometric thinking ability is different among students taught using an ethnomathematics approach and an ordinary or scientific approach. The average geometric thinking ability of students who learned using an ethnomathematics approach is higher than students taught with an ordinary or scientific approach. The class taught using the ethnomathematics approach shows that 93.75% of students reached the visualization thinking stage, 87.5% of students reached the analysis stage, and 81.25% of students reached the informal deductive stage, but no students reached the deductive thinking stage.
