Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian <em>Research and Development</em> (R&D) atau penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu tahap <em>define </em>(pendefinisian), tahap <em>design</em> (perencanaan), dan tahap <em>develop </em>(pengembangan). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 3 Langkat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil validasi modul adalah 4,33 berada pada kategori layak tanpa revisi dengan skor ≥ 2,5. Angket respon guru yang merupakan komponen kelayakan menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif dengan nilai 94% atau berada di antara interval 85% ≤ RS ≤ 100%. Angket respon peserta didik yang merupakan komponen efektivitas dengan nilai 85% atau berada pada interval 85% ≤ RS ≤ 100% dengan kategori sangat positif. Tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis menunjukkan skor peningkatan 0,42 dengan kategori sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria efektif.<strong></strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Kata Kunci: </strong></p><p>Modul, <em>Problem Based Learning</em>, Komunikasi Matematis<strong></strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><strong><em>:</em></strong></p><p><em>This research was conducted to develop a module based on Problem Based Learning on enumeration rules material that is feasible, valid, and also effective to measure students' mathematical communication skills. The type of research used is Research and Development (R & D) research or development research which consists of 3 stages, namely the define stage, the design stage (planning), and the develop stage. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA MAN 3 Langkat. The results showed that the result of module validation was 4.33 in the feasible category without revision with a score of ≥ 2.5. The teacher response questionnaire which is a component of eligibility shows very positive results because it is in the 94% interval between the 85% ≤ RS ≤ 100% interval. Student response questionnaire which is a component of effectiveness with a value of 85% in the interval 85% ≤ RS ≤ 100% with a very positive category. Mathematical communication skills test showed an increase score of 0.42 in the moderate category. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian dibagi menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Dalam pengujian hipotesis diperoleh peningkatan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran inquiri dibandingkan dengan siswa dengan pendekatan konvensional. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan signifikansi 7,70 > 2,52 sehingga H diterima. Dengan kata lain, terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa melalui model pembelajaran inquiri. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas inquiri adalah 0,55 dengan kriteria sedang, kemudian 0,30 < 0,55 < 0,70. Dari nilai rata-rata gain juga diperoleh data 3 orang siswa termasuk pada kategori tinggi dan 17 orang siswa pada kategori sedang. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa kelas kontrol adalah 0,34 dengan kriteria sedang, kemudian 0,30 < 0,34 < 0,70. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 10 orang siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bengkalis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan berupa tes tertulis yang disusun dalam bentuk uraian ( essay examination ) sebanyak 13 butir soal. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu: 1) mengoreksi hasil jawaban siswa; 2) mengindentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, dan menganalisis kesalahan apa saja yang dilakukan oleh siswa dalam menjawab soal berdasarkan jenis kesalahan Kastolan; 3) menghitung persentase kesalahan pada tiap butir soal untuk setiap jenis kesalahan; 4) hasil persentase dikategorikan berdasarkan persentase kesalahan; 5) data yang telah dihitung akan di analisis secara deskriptif dengan menafsirkan hasil perhitungan persentase kesalahan siswa; 6) membuat kesimpulan. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hal-hal yang dideskripsikan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa serta faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika operasi bentuk aljabar. Dari hasil analisis kesalahan siswa, diperoleh persentase kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa berdasarkan jenis kesalahan Kastolan secara keseluruhan, yaitu: 1) kesalahan konseptual sebesar 23.8%; 2) kesalahan prosedural sebesar 35.8%; 3) kesalahan teknik sebesar 40.4%. Faktor penyebab terjadinya kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika dapat disebabkan oleh dua macam faktor, yaitu faktor dari dalam diri siswa maupun faktor dari luar diri siswa. Kata Kunci : Jenis Kesalahan Kastolan, Kesalahan Konseptual, Kesalahan Prosedural, Kesalahan Teknik, Operasi Bentuk Aljabar. Abstract: This study aims to analyze and describe the types of errors made by students according to Kastolan in solving mathematical problems operating in algebraic forms. The subjects of this study were 10 students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bengkalis. Data collection techniques carried out in the form of written tests compiled in the form of essay examination as many as 13 items. Data analysis techniques were performed, namely: 1) correcting the results of student answers; 2) identifying, classifying, and analyzing any mistakes made by students in answering questions based on the type of error Kastolan; 3) calculate the percentage of errors in each item for each type of error; 4) percentage results are categorized based on the percentage of errors; 5) the calculated data will be analyzed descriptively by interpreting the results of the calculation of the percentage of student errors; 6) make conclusions. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Medan yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dan berjumlah 60 siswa, yang juga dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini yakni sebagai sampel jenuh. Instrumen tes yang digunakan adalah dengan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis vaian (ANAVA). Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 2)Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> tidak lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 3) Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 4) Terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi turunan fungsi. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. In collecting data, the methods used are observation, interview and documentation. In analyzing research data using data exposure, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The questions used were as many as 4 problems of set stories. Subjects in the study of students of class VII-A State of Hamparan Perak State MTs, amounting to 20 students with selected respondents 3 students in the category of high, medium, and low story problem solving ability. The results showed that the three subjects made errors in transformation (transformation error), processing error (processing error), and error writing the final answer (encoding error). The interactive multimedia used was Flash with the content is polyhedron for grade VIII students. The subjects were students of class VIII.7 SMPN 5 Yogyakarta. The instruments used were the geometric reasoning skill tests. Interactive multimedia is effective if at least 75% of students reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning in geometric reasoning skill test and at least 75% of students’ proportion is categorized in high category or above. The result of students’ geometric reasoning skill test shows that the developed product is in effective category. This is because 75% of students reach the minimum criteria of mastery learning. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research subjects were 22 VIII-5 graders at Bandar T.A State MTs. 2017/2018. Interview respondents were 6 students and 1 math teacher. The methods in this study are observation, tests, interviews and documentation. The data used are the results of tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion conclusions. Checking the validity of the data used is a triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that the ability of students to understand the problem and to plan a problem solving strategy for story problems was very high. This research was conducted in two cycles. From the results of the initial test obtained a percentage of classical completeness of students' combinatorics problem solving ability of 0% with an average value of 1,24; in the first cycle it increased to 80% with an average of 2,80; and in cycle II it increased to 86,67% with an average of 2,86. Improved student test results are also seen in each combinatorics model. In the distribution model, the average value of students in the cycle I is 3,01 and in the cycle II increases to 3,06. In the partition model, the average value of students in the cycle I is 2,70 and in the cycle II increases to 2,81. In the selection model, the average value of students in the cycle I is 2.68 and in the cycle II increases to 2,70. The management of learning carried out by the teacher in the cycle I was included in the good category, in the cycle II it increased very well. This research was a quantitative research, with a type of quasi-experimental research. The population was all students of class VIII MTs Al-Ittihadiyah Medan 2016/2017 Academic Year. The sample of this study was students of class VIII-4, which amounted to 26 people as the experimental class, and students of class VIII-5 which amounted to 26 people as the control class. From the analysis of the data obtained findings that there are differences in the mathematical communication skills of students in the experimental class using Bamboo Dancing learning models and control classes that use conventional learning. The average value of the experimental class for the initial test (pre-test) was 43.85 with a standard deviation of 9.20, while the average value for the final test (post-test) was 81.54 with a standard deviation of 9.98. In the control class the average value obtained for the initial test (pre-test) was 48.08 with a standard deviation of 10.01, whereas for the final test score (post-test) was 75.38 with a standard deviation of 13,11.
