The cosmeceutical business relies on the event and selling of merchandise that lie between cosmetics and prescription drugs. Nanotechnology manifests the progression in the arena of research and development, by increasing the efficacy of the product through the delivery of innovative solutions. The Cosmeceuticals area unit thought to be the quickest growing phase of the non-public care business and therefore the use has up drastically over the years. Nanocosmeceuticals used for skin, hair, nail, and lip care, for conditions like wrinkles, photoaging, hyperpigmentation, dandruff, and hair damage, have come into widespread use. This review also explains the huge contribution of herbal drugs to the global market. Nowadays plant-based cosmetics or cosmeceuticals are widely used in various skin problems in addition to their cosmetic effects, enhance antibacterial, antifungal, anticarcinogenic, and anti-inflammatory biological actions. This review, based on engineering science which employed in cosmeceuticals, that highlights the assorted novel carriers, which are used for the delivery of cosmeceuticals and their positive-negative aspects too. It also emphasizes about marketed formulations and regulations of Nanocosmeceuticals.","PeriodicalId":233230,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Pharmacy And Health Research","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126919259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These characteristics are only possible when we have a good regulatory structure, scheme and organization that can continuously regulate and update the cosmetic products. There are many regulatory bodies doing work efficiently. These bodies provide us with strict regulations which help us in guiding Manufacturing, Importing, Packaging, Labeling and other aspects of trade in cosmetic industry. In USA and EU, it is not easy to produce a product in the market, as one has to fulfill the safety requirements as per the recent regulations. In India, we have Drugs and Cosmetic Act (D &C) and Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS), following which we formulate a product for consumer needs. The cosmetic market is at its peak and can be observed to be at highest in upcoming years. The skin care market is amongst the largest growing as compare to other segments like deodorants, hair care and many more. This review helps in knowing the regulations in cosmetic industry and also the marketing scenario.","PeriodicalId":233230,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Pharmacy And Health Research","volume":"42 41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124266421","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However in clinical practice we routinely get cases of vertigo due to postural changes or head movements which donot follow the typical sign of Dix Hall pike test. These patients can be classified of being having suffering from Atypical BPPV. The Aim was to Evaluate BPPV with negative Dix Hallpike test and the treatment modality for it. Selection criteria for our studies were based on perspective clinical studies done in 64 patients with Atypical BPPV at Dept of ENT Audio-vestibular unit , in a tertiary care Hospital for a period of 1 year. Results and observations showed that 56 patients from the study group were symptomatically relieved when Epleys maneuver was performed on them consecutively for 3 days. It is seen that almost 88 % of the patients suffering from Atypical BPPV showed symptom remission when treated with Canalith Repositioning Maneuver specially the Epleys .Thus Epleys maneuver can be a treatment modality for patients suffering from BPPV without nystagmus. Patients with a typical history of positional vertigo who shows no nystagmus in Dix hallpike which we often diagnose no not a case of BPPV are actually atypical BPPVs which can be successfully treated by Epleys manoeuvre , a cheap and easy and effective way of treatment .","PeriodicalId":233230,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Pharmacy And Health Research","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127883572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A study has indicated that isojacareubin, a plant-derived natural product, inhibits Protein Kinase C. This study aimed to design in silico protein kinase inhibitors using isojacareubin as a molecular template. Virtual screening and de novo design were carried out during the study. A total of three hundred hits were produced from virtual screening using the best binding conformer of isojacareubin. Two hundred molecules were generated de novo from each seed structure of isojacareubin. Lipinski Rules compliant molecules were chosen from each study, and thus, were orally bioavailable. The binding affinities (pKd) of the Lipinski Rules compliant molecules produced ranged from 7.16 to 10.00. The molecules require further validation through in silco molecular dynamics and confirmed through in vitro assays.","PeriodicalId":233230,"journal":{"name":"American Journal of Pharmacy And Health Research","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125663725","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
