This study shows that the jargon that live among transvestites Bitung derived from a variety of languages, namely Indonesian (shepherds' fat ', the mill crazy, a tangle of love' selling themselves' royal 'work', golden 'piss', the field' hungry 'rose' like '). English (drinken 'drink', eaten 'eat', homre 'home', sleepen 'sleep'). Germany (kleine 'small' and spielen, 'play'). Dutch (betalen 'buy / pay' geld 'money', groot 'big', stil 'silent'). Regional language Sangihe and Java (enjeh 'yes' and nar 'go walking'. Therefore, it is not uncommon to communicate everyday, transvestites often change (switching) languages, from one to the other language. Therefore uniqueness and kevariasian language, researchers interested in conducting research on the use of jargon among transvestites particularly Bitung City. this study aims to (1) identify, classify, and analyze the jargon used by transvestites Bitung, (2) analyze the functions of jargon which use among transvestites Bitung.Descriptive qualitative study was conducted in three phases, namely the phase of the provision of data, data analysis stage, and the stage presentation of the results of the data analysis. The data used as material analysis in this study is a narrative of data studied for 5 months (August-December 2016) derived from IWABI ranging from chairman to members totaling 10 participants transvestites. those aged between 18 and 33 years old. Through this technique, note and record using the phone / video, as much as 2 or 3 times for each informant. A well-maintained relationship among the individuals in the society is one of the major factors that endorsed them to address each other by using proper nicknames. No matter old or young people, male or female, wealthy or destitute, indigenous or non indigenous, are all unexceptional unrestrained for nicknaming and employing nicknames between one another. The results of this research showed that term of nicknames employed by the people of Rumoong-Lansot villages concealed nearly the entire elements of internal linguistics and external linguistics. In term of types, all those nicknames that have been successfully collected and analyzed can be categorized into the following aspects: physical state, home and place of birth, occupation, particular moment, and every other feature that promotes the creation of the nicknames. Generally speaking, every single nickname employed by the people is conditioned to identify one specific member of the society in order to generate a clear and unimpeded sort of communication. Specifically, every single nickname is responsible to provide a distinguished portrayal of any peculiar individual in the society, and even more definite, about his most dominating distinctive characteristics. Previous research from Bawole (1981) regarding the morphology of Sangihe language also had not analyzed this issue. In this research, researchers analyzed names morphologically in particular affixation and reduplication. The data in this research were collected through two methods, namely observation method with the technique of observing by visiting village’s office and collecting data regarding surnames. Secondly, interview with elicitation technique are employed to four informants to comprehend the meaning of the collected data of surnames. Data analysis was done through distributional method and was based on the morphological theory of Aronoff and Fudeman (2011). This research aims to explain three things, namely the affixation process and reduplication process of Sangihe ethnic surnames. The background of this study by the term kinship tends to do with the concept of culture used by certain people who call someone in the family as in the community Sangihe. These factors that the attention of researchers to the term of kinship in the society. The purpose of this study is to indentify kinship term in the Sangihe Society and explain the meaning of kinship in the Sangihe sociey that reflect of culture.The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. To obtain the data in the field. Burling theory (1970) to answer the first question and the theory Spradley (1979) and Casson (1981) to answer the second question. To obtain the data in the field, researchers used a method refer and method capable (SBCL) and using the questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire of Sudaryanto (1993) and interview techniques as recommended by Spradley (1997), which consists of general questions, specific questions, sample questions, questions based on experiences and questions native language or dialect. These data are then captured and recorded. In addition, specific Minahasan traditional food is associated with social behavior which is very typical for a particular event in the culture, but still rarely written scientifically, especially in the field of linguistics.Empirical evidence shows that there is an ambiguity (overlap) on the appearance of the name of typical food between the party menu which still contains the original culture of Minahasa like Endo wangko 'holy day' or \"Pengucapan\" with a menu of food that are commercialized as the name of the food as a restaurant menu, inn or hotel, and vendor menu. In other words, the typical Minahasa food and beverage as a genuine Minahasan culture still appear on the religious function of culture, whereas on the other hand, Minahasan traditional food has appeared on the restaurant menu as a regular menu. The main problem in this study can be formulated as “How does the naming system of food that appears in Minahasa cultural traditions based on myths or folklore that have symbols and myths value and meaningful functioning as a cultural concept of Minahasa?”. This research uses qualitative method and records the process of teaching English and interviews the instructors and students as a technique of this research to find the importance of code switching. The data were transcripted and analyzed use the concepts of Wardhaugh and Suwito about types of code switching and functions of code switching use the concept of Margana. The research shows that there are 4 types of code switching intern, extern, metaphorical dan situasional code switching. Extern code switching are code switching from English to Indonesian (i.e. do you know what day is tomorrow? Besok hari apa?) and English to Manado Malay (i.e. you know what I mean? Mangarti nda?). Intern code switching is code switching from Manado Malay to Indonesian (i.e. besok hari libur jadi nda ada les. Lesnya nanti minggu depan). Metaphorical code switching is a code switching without any changing topic. Situasional code switching is a code switching with changing topic. Also, there are 7 types of code switching, they are repetition, clarification, exploration, explanation, giving assignment, checking students’ understanding and giving warning/suggestion. It can be concluded that there are 4 types of code switching produced by instructors in English teaching and learning process. They are extern, intern, metaphorical and situasional code switching. Besides, there are 7 functions of code switching. In addition to the semantic studies of synonymous semantics is also an important issue, the use of the word has the same meaning sometimes used inappropriately and even erroneously because of lack of understanding of the lexical meaning that is synonymous. This research focuses on the synonyms of bawine nouns in Sangirese language. The purpose is to identify the distinguishing features on the synonyms of bawine nouns in Sangirese language and identify the scope of the use of words which include the bawine noun synonym pair in the Sangirese language. Primary data source used in this research is informant which is native speaker of Sangirese language. This research uses component analysis technique of meaning (componential analysis). After analysis, it is found that in the bawine nouns in Sangirese language only three words are close synonym while the other words are only hyponimic, yet there is a general semantic characteristic that applies between these noun pairs.
