According to Chomsky, language is a collection of sentences, each with a certain length and built by a set of specific elements. Language is a regular system from various forms of sounds used in expressing thoughts and feelings of the users of the language. Indonesian language was born on October 28, 1928, grew and developed from the Malay language since ancient times, and has been used as a lingua franca not only in the archipelago, but also in almost all of Southeast Asia. This study examines the language based on the internal object of linguistic study; micro linguistic and one of its sub-discipline is morphology, focused on forms of acronyms used in UPTD Balai Peralatan dan Perbekalan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. The research focus is on the forms of acronyms used in UPTD Balai Peralatan dan Perbekalan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. There are three forms of acronyms used by the Aparatur Sipil Negera (Civil Servant) and Tenaga Harian Lepas (Intern) on UPTD Balai Peralatan dan Perbekalan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, which is acronym whose form is determined by the formation process based on the theory of O'Grady, Dobrovolsky, theory of Kridalaksana. H., and one of the form does not follow the two existing theories. Of the thirty two acronyms found, twenty nine are formal acronyms in Indonesian language and the other three are informal acronyms. The topographical element of concern in this study is Mount Semeru (3,676 masl). Toponymy research in the realm of natural landscape features in Indonesia that studies mountain naming has never been done. Data is obtained based on expedition mapping since the 19th century to pay attention to changes in mountain names, forecasting to trace the meaning of mountain names, and other supporting data such as oral traditions and history. This study uses the theoretical basis of Durkin (2009) in expressing the Etymology of Mount Semeru, followed by the theory of meaning development of connotation from Barthes' myth in Hoed (2011) to see various symptoms in a culture as a sign that is interpreted by the community through Peirce's Semiotics. The results showed that Semeru toponym had been around since the 19th century on a map of the Dutch expedition. In subsequent findings that Semeru toponym in the first semiosis process signifies a cultural concept embedded in the mind of the community that Mount Semeru is a threat, the second semiosis process signifies a cultural concept that calls the plateau with Javanese based on its form, Gumuk, Redi, and Wukir. It is a way in increasing the learning result mastery, the phase is important because the lecturer will get a helpful feedback from the students regarding the learning process. A quick task given with a good learning outcome can increase the ability of student in wider, higher and complex learning experience.A regular task given will give a good attitude and positive way of learning, and eventually will motivate the students to have independent study habit of learning and studying. Therefore, task giving activity still trigger the learning ability of the students. The receiving attitude of students in responding of the task is needed to be focused. The diligent students will adjust to that environment easily while others will not. The reverse attitude are shown by the lazy students, task given activities will be a burden to them. They reject directly and act without attention. In other words, the diligent students will do the tasks and the lazy student will not do the tasks or even they do the tasks unseriously. Efforts are needed in improving the Japanese students study achievements one of the efforts is giving the student homework regularly and expecting it can stimulate the students eagerness to study at homework that will increase the study achievement. This research is aimed to find the significance correlation between homework given and study achievement of students who study Japanese.Data were collected by test, quesionare, interview, observation and dokumentation. Speech is not only used to express something because everyone who speaks has a purpose in every speech. The problem studied in this pragmatic research is forms of illocutionary acts in WIB program in episode 9 July 2018. The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of s illocutionary acts in WIB program in episode 9 July 2018. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Method of data collection using the observation method by using basic techniques, which is observation technique. Furthermore, observation technique is followed with advanced techniques in the form of uninvoluement observation capable of recording, record, and record techniques. The analysis of this research using the method of equalextralingua. Responden dalampenelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 1 2017/2018 kelasGeneral English 4 parallel F di salah satu perguruan tinggi yangada di Sulawesi Utara, yang terdiri dari 31 mahasiswa.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, terdapat peningkatan padakemampuan berbicara (Oral Competency) mahasiswa pada tiaptiapcycle. (2) to analyze whether there is a relationship between the signifier and signified concerning the expression of the meaning that exists in electronic products mobile advertising in the print media; (3) to determine the rhetorical language and why it is used in electronic product advertising. This research is descriptive qualitative study. The data were taken randomly from three magazine monthly editions June and July 2013 as many as 6 product electronic chosen in which the data were taken in various types of mobile electronic product. In identifying and analyzing the semiotic meaning is used semiotic theory concerning (signified and signifier). It can be concluded that semiotic meaning including the use of icon, index, and symbol also types of language are used especially for marketing product. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and uses lexical semantic study approach to analyze semantic function of vocabulary tool and fishing technique in fisherman communities. This research was conducted along the coastal area of Boulevard, Sario Sub-district, Manado City, North Sulawesi. Sources of data in this study were taken from those who work as fishermen, who know about the vocabulary tools and fishing techniques.The data collection techniques are direct observation techniques and interviews. The data collection tool was the researcher as a key instrument. Based on the results of data analysis research found in fishing gear and techniques in Bolevard Manado area, there are 30 vocabulary in fishing gear, and 14 vocabulary in fishing technique in the form of these results collected in this study. The researcher hopes for this research continued on the vocabulary of fisherman fishing tools and techniques in the Bolevard Manado area, from different perspectives, so that further research can complement the study of semantics, especially lexical semantics with other problems.
