From the perspective of its disciplinary origin, Comparative literature has a broad cosmopolitan mind and aims to explore common literary laws; However, when conducting specific research on Comparative literature, especially when the Chinese school proposes cross civilization research, researchers should pay full attention to the impact of the heterogeneity of different civilizations on Comparative literature research. This paper attempts to further analyze the development of contemporary literary theory and the new progress of the discipline theory of Comparative literature. The transformation and development of contemporary literary theory, whether in terms of paradigm shifts or theoretical reorientations, is not a simple linear progression and evolutionary logic but rather a complex spiral cyclic evolution. This is worth studying and discussing the new progress of the discipline theory of Comparative literature and conducting necessary theoretical reflection, to summarize historical experience and lessons in order to promote the innovative development of literary theory in the new era.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"136307630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some of them take on the characteristics of memes, relying heavily on social media platforms and gradually becoming part of Internet users' daily communication. They influence the Chinese lexical system, contemporary semantic culture, and people's language use habits. This study systematically explores words adopted within network circles, categorizing them based on distinct lexical origins and transformation modes. In general, circle sub-cultural vocabulary exhibits traits of separability, economy, and integration. Structurally, these words are not confined by syntactic rules. Conceptually, their semantics tend to become more abstract and general, reflecting the non-categorization characteristics of language. However, the use of circle sub-cultural words has led to emergence of dross semantic and destigmatization to some extent, exerting a negative influence on college students' lexical selection and usage.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135053157","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Later, Mr. Lu Xun gave a speech entitled What Happens After Nora Leaves at the Literature and Art Conference of Beijing Women's Higher Normal school on December 26, 1923, discussing the exodus caused by the play and what the result was in China at that time. The speech was delivered about four years after the May Fourth Movement. This time period is the transition period when the female students who left the impression of \"A Doll's House\" became female graduates who faced problems with their way out. This article not only selects representative female writers from the 1920s and 1930s in China to explore the way out for female intellectuals from their biographies and works, but also analyzes the outcome of the choices made by female intellectuals in this era through the combination of works such as \"The Doll's House\" and \"What Happens After Nora Runs Away\". It further reveals that the difficulties faced by female intellectuals in China in the 1920s and 1930s are all due to the constraints of the times and destiny.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135500991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under the BERTopic classification framework, we carried out fine-tuning training by combining a pre-training model for BERT with ancient Chinese and the SimCSE unsupervised learning method. We derived topic classification results of the Complete Song Ci through quantitative and visual means. The results indicate that the Complete Song Ci is divided into 43 sub-themes, among which certain similarities and compatibilities exist. After a further merging of the sub-themes based on cosine similarity values, we identified ten distinct themes, conforming to the Ten Major Themes theory of classical Chinese literature proposed in previous research, simultaneously establishing the research value of machine learning theories such as BERTopic in the topic classification of ancient poetic texts.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135500999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, this study tries to analyze the similarities between Chinese tone and English stress based on the Chinese tone familiar to Chinese learners from three reasons: society, school education and students, for which English stress learning is neglected. Starting from the similarities of language system, this study makes use of the positive transfer effect of Chinese tone on learning English stress. Aiming at the common English stress problem of domestic learners, we strive to form specific and efficient training methods to improve learners' stress level.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135610251","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In response, the integration of digital research methods into literary studies has emerged as a compelling area of exploration. Among the classic subjects of literary research, the classification of Shakespearean drama genres holds particular significance. In this paper, we present a case study focused on introducing a promising predictive and analytical method, which leverages Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) and the Shapley value. Our methodology begins by employing decision trees to reduce the dimensionality of textual data. Subsequently, a LDA based on Bayesian optimization algorithm is applied to predict the genres of texts. Finally, we utilize the Shapley value to analyze the important words within the texts and unveil their profound literary associations with respective genres. By adopting this approach, our research contributes to the widespread adoption and digital transformation of literary studies, thereby pioneering new avenues in Shakespearean drama research.","PeriodicalId":223840,"journal":{"name":"Lecture Notes on Language and Literature","volume":"131 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135700533","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
