The growing importance of the religious factor, in this context, Islamic in the social life of society, the desire of clergy to dominate public life, especially in the education system, contributed to the increased interest of researchers in religious topics. Therefore, the study of the state of the religious sphere, religiosity, its types, the specifics of the cult behavior of the population are relevant, because the stability of society depends on the situation in this area. Empirical data indicate that the mass consciousness of the urban population of Dagestan is characterized by the designation of the key role of the Islamic factor in society. The attitudes of the interviewed townspeople are dominated by the position denoting the association of the respondents with Islam, while it can be observed that the subgroups self-identifying as “convinced non-believers” and “non-believers” emphasize their belonging to the Muslim faith, which is a confirmation of the existence of cultural or formal religiosity. In addition, the designation by the respondents of belief in mystical forces is one of the indicators of the deformation of their religious self-identification, which can be expressed in destructive processes in the religious sphere. Empirical data show that the share of “pure” religious types among the respondents across the entire sample is small, but for subgroups the percentage indicators reflect their type of religiosity, while religious behavior in intensity does not correspond to a specific type of religiosity.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127548102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is proved that the enlighteners advocated the creation of a new type of national non-class school and the construction of the didactic foundations of the educational process in it. The novelty of the work is that, based on the analysis of the views of the advanced intelligentsia of the region, aimed at understanding the current socio-cultural situation, an attempt was made to scientifically understand the problems and prospects for the development of the Muslim educational system of the past from the point of view of the modern scientific paradigm. The practical significance of the publication lies in expanding the understanding of the system of Mohammedan education in the context of its historical heritage, which will help to comprehend modern problems associated with the reform of general and vocational education in the national Muslim republics.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125256764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This global crisis in which travel, tourism, hospitality and events have been shut down in many parts of the world, provides an opportunity to uncover the possibilities in this historic transformative mo-ment. A critical tourism analysis of these events briefly uncovers the ways in which tourism has supported neoliberal injustices and exploitation. The COVID-19 pandemic crisis may offer a rare and invaluable opportunity to rethink and reset tourism toward a better pathway for the future. ‘Responsible’ approaches to tourism alone, however, will not offer sufficient capacity to enable such a reset. Instead, such a vision requires a community-centred tourism framework that redefines and reorients tourism based on the rights and interests of local communities and local peoples. Theoretically, such an approach includes a way tourism could be ‘socialised’ by being recentred on the public good. This is essential for tourism to be made accountable to social and ecological limits of the planet.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129463214","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, its activation was facilitated by complex and contradictory processes in the religious sphere, in this context, among the followers of the Islamic faith. The growth and strengthening of the ideology of radical Islamism in the public consciousness, especially of the younger generation, the designation of the dominant following of religious precepts in everyday life as opposed to secular laws, destructive actions under the slogans of protecting the \"purity\" of faith made it necessary to spread religious knowledge that would not threaten the secular foundations of the Russian state. Therefore, the process of developing religious Muslim education in the territories of the historical spread of Islam has acquired special significance, because it was intended to give those who want to receive religious education such knowledge that would not preach inter-religious tolerance, and would not spread radical ideas in Russian society. Empirical data show that the surveyed population positively assesses the quality of education in a school at the mosque, with the argument that they get a good knowledge of the basics of Islam, have the opportunity to learn how to read the Holy text, as well as certain ritual actions that are quite significant for respondents in their daily lives. As well as secular education, religious education also has drawbacks and to improve the state of Islamic education, according to the interviewed expert community, it is necessary to hold Republican conferences, round tables, which will discuss the issues of improving the skills of teachers, organize training courses for teachers of maktabs, provide schools at the mosques with unified educational and methodological literature.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126415061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It suggests that people are motivated to grow and change as well as to be able to become self-determined by three universal psychological needs: for fulfillment of competence, connection, and autonomy. The article examines the main criteria and indicators of self-determination. Socio-pedagogical conditions are pro-posed which provide the effectiveness of the process of forming social self-determination among students. Materials and methods: the methodological basis is the ideas of personal and pro-fessional development as the basis the foundation of achieving a professional “acme” in the works of such scientists as A.S. Anisimov, A.A. Bodalev, A.A. Derkach, V.G. Zazykin, A.K. Markova, N.V. Kuzmina and others. Scientists focused on interdiscipli-nary connections and integration approaches in the study of the problems of personality self-determination. Results: recommendations are given for the design of activating methods of self-determination. The research hypothesis is based on the assumption that the for-mation of self-determination in the educational process of the university will be effective if proposed conditions are realized: providing the interconnection of formation processes and person’s self-development; inclusion of students in a variety of activities in order to acquire social experience and a system of social roles for further self-development; trainings for motivational growth and classes aimed at developing skills of self-organization and self-regulation in stressful situations. Discussion and Conclusions: according to these conclusions, a set of recommenda-tions were developed: external and internal factors of social self-determination should be considered in the system, with its inherent connection with the environ-ment, since changes in the social environment entail changes in the system of factors; in order to study personal properties, develop mutual understanding and determine ways of development and correction, one should use high-quality psychodiagnostic techniques, trainings for motivational growth, aimed at developing skills of self-organization and self-regulation in stressful situations; it is necessary to ensure the activity of students in a variety of activities.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132482746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The obtained empirical data show the dominance of the Republican type of social identity with a large preponderance in the mass consciousness of the respondents. The author's hypothesis about the importance of religious identity for respondents was not confirmed by the results of the study, because the designation of unity with co-religionists by respondents prevails only in a subgroup of convinced believers. In addition, the awareness of community with representatives of their ethnic community is of great importance for citizens. At the same time, the study revealed contradictory behavior of citizens: for example, the study of the religious identity of the urban population indicates the prevalence of the importance of religious affiliation. In addition, empirical data shows the existence in the attitudes of citizens of the consideration of religion as an integral part of ethno-culture, which is quite natural in the observed synthesis of ethnic and religious factors in the form of ethno-confessional identity. The level of trust in various social spheres, in particular religious institutions, contributes to the formation of a positive religious identity to a certain extent. Laz, as an ethnic minority, have undergone all those difficulties of transformation, including negative ones. Destructive measures were taken against them by the Government of the USSR – forced resettlement, deportation. Mohamed Vanlishi, Laz by nationality, being a member of the government of the Adjarian ASSR, minister, writer, sent a letter to L. Be-ria, the content of which touched Beria's feelings. The Lazes were returned from the special resettlement to their own homes. This side of the life of the ethnic minority of Georgia – Laz was reflected in the documents of \"Stalin's special folder\" The publication mentions many of the current representatives of the Laz in different periods of the his-tory of Georgia and Abkhazia and ethnic minorities living on their territory. The life of the Laz was also influenced by the policy carried out in Georgia to implement the \"crys-tallization of society\", pursuing the formation of statehood with one ethnic community, one culture. Introduction. The development of the problem itself in the scientific works of the author and other researchers is briefly stated. This is also a kind of reaction to complaints from the Laz themselves that the history of the ethnic minority is not being paid enough attention to. Little is known in the historiography of the Laz and their leaders, who led various kinds of movements for freedom and justice, the solution of social problems in society, the involvement of the Laz in party and state building. The content of punitive measures taken against Laz is partially revealed, the reasons and possibilities to overcome the built system in relations between the state and society, ethnic minorities are shown. Methods. The content of the article is based on different research methods. First of all, the method of historicism, a sequential presentation of the series of events that charac-terize the content of historical events, their relationship with accompanying events. It is also important to use the prosopographic method of presenting material about the main political figure of the Laz, representatives of the highest authorities. By using the narrative method, the ethnic community of the Laz is more widely represented and its participation in solving many issues in national state policy, the interaction of the ethnic community itself in the system of interethnic ties. The use of the information method is of particular value for building up an event series. This method is also quite applicable to the analysis of national processes taking place in the region where the Laz live. Special attention is paid to the fact that patriotism locked onto itself the unfulfilled hopes of social groups and strata of society, whose expectations turned out to be higher than its political and cultural capabilities. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that it speaks of the dependence of patriotism on a generational shift or generational change, since the emergence of a new capable subject of social action, possessing not only a post-material independent of the departed Soviet nature, but also a new idealized system of values, is capable of predetermining changes in patriotic sentiments in society. The paper argues that various interpretations of patriotism, despite its seeming naturalness and eternity, create the preconditions for the emergence of stereotyped chimerical constructions. It is noted that the traditionally form of patriotic fetishism is the institution of education, reduced to the logic of \"service\" – to the provision of educational services, built in accordance with a given vertical of values and priorities outlined by the state, within which patriotism is not brought up, but proclaimed. The Institute of Education, for which the frame of education of patriotism has ceased to be an organizing principle, is no longer stitched with strong temporary ties within the direct contact of generations, their semantic dialogue. As a result, patriotic education is poorly integrated into the educational process. Another consequence of this situation is the blindness of the institution of education in modern Russia in relation to generational shifts and their impact on social development. Today it is much more important for the Russian state (its political elite) to reproduce the form of patriotism at the level of official formulas, but not its literal meaning. The article is based on the principles of science, objectivity and creativity.","PeriodicalId":220604,"journal":{"name":"Historical and social-educational ideas","volume":"111 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124108280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under the conditions of nomads’ spatial world view and freedom, a steady political vertical and sacral power was not formed among nomadic people. The role of power and education belonged to Nature itself dictating its severe laws of survival and to elder generations who transferred traditional knowledge, experiences, values, and skills to younger generations. The new times and new civilizations have absorbed traditions of the nomadic civili-zation. Contemporary globalization is characterized by expansion of nature and its resources, political-economic expansion of countries and nations, transformation of the world culture into a primitive mass-culture. The writer reveals not only deep understanding of internal essence of humans and their actions, but also perceives feelings and thoughts of our “smaller fellows”, pets, birds, and animals living near us under the one sky. How to restore traditional knowledge, experience, moral and spiritual values which were so common to Kyrgyz nomadic people? What must happen to make us think about it? The authors of the article “How to overcome a deep precipice between humans and alive nature?” seek to find answers to these questions.
