Aim of the research is to clarify how valuable and useful are particular terrain segments for tourism valorization, construction of various objects, certain economic activities etc. Geoecological evaluation of terrain is strongly relevant methodological procedure, which can be used for acquiring of results about real value of particular areas. Paper consists of several parts. First part defines the exact area of exploration and geographic position of National Park Una. Second part is concerned with geomorphological characteristics of explored area and possibilities of its valorization, by detailed analyses of hypsometric facts, angle of slope inclination, vertical articulation and terrain exposition. Geoecological evaluation of terrain is performed in third part, for which purpose a bonity categories are used. Geoecological evaluation of terrain is based on previous geomorphological analysis. Methods used in this paper are: analysis, synthesis, statistical method, cartographic method and GIS analysis. Data were registered for the period from 2013 to 2021, based on which the trends of tourist movements were concluded. Tourist arrivals were also analyzed depending on the type of accommodation capacity. The structure of tourists was analyzed for the recent period, from 2019 to 2021. {"title":"THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS, RECREATION AND ADVENTURE TOURISM IN TOURIST-GEOGRAPHICAL REGIONS OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA","authors":"","doi":"10.35666/25662880.2015.1.579","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35666/25662880.2015.1.579","url":null,"abstract":"Sports, recreation and adventure tourism are activities that relax tourists and put them away from everyday stress situations, and it all takes place through swimming, hiking, relaxing in nature, altitude residence, paragliding, rock climbing, rafting, cycling tours, golf, tennis, aqua aerobics, volleyball, skiing, etc. Natural and anthropogenic tourist potentials which exist in the BiH tourism and geographic regions are suitable for the development of these specific forms of tourism. Sports events are unavoidable side effects in the development of these forms of tourism. Entertainment - recreational tourist regional offer, in a broader sense, includes an offer that is used to meet all other needs of tourists, participants and organizers of such events. Moreover, sports, recreation and adventure programs, which are implemented as an integral part of tourism offer of the tourist-geographical regions, are certainly renting and using various sports facilities and equipment, schools of various sports skills, sports games, tournaments and contests followed by sports-entertainment attractions, which certainly lead to job creation and employment of professional staff and young population structure. It is necessary to ensure available public space for a part of these activities, then equipped sports and recreational fields or recreational sports equipment and halls for other activities, which also makes room for employment in BiH regions in which it is wanted to develop these specific forms of tourism. The aim of this study is to determine the possibilities for development of sports, recreation and adventure tourism in BiH tourist-geographical regions followed by their diversity and classification with respect to which natural-geographical tourist attractions will be developed. The priorities and problems of their tourist valorisation will be determined, as well as the way they are promoted among both foreign and domestic tourists. One of the important factor for the sustainability of this movement is communicated with both local residents and destination visitors accurately and conscious way about the principles and the benefits of Cittaslow philosophy and the unique features of the destination. At this point, social media is a key tool in destination marketing for Cittaslow destinations due to its features such as providing a competitive advantage, reaching a global audience, rapid dissemination of information, communicating with consumers. In this regard the study focuses the role of social media in destination marketing. The aim of the research is to determine how and at what level Cittaslow in Turkey use social media in destination marketing. In accordance with this purpose, content analysis technique was used and Facebook was chosen as social media channel. Among 11 Cittaslow in Turkey, 7 Cittaslow destinations (Gökçeada, Halfeti, Perşembe, Seferihisar, Şavşat, Vize, Yalvaç) that have an official municipality Facebook page were included to the research. This destinations’ posts between January 2016 and June 2016 were analysed in terms of content, frequency and interactivity by utilising the categories Hays et al. (2013) created in their study. Too many cities in Anatolia are hosting this historical heritage. Konya, is one of the most rooted cities of our Homeland both culturally and industrially. The documents proving that the revolutionary acts of conversion from nomadism, forager into settlement and agricultural life, in the history of humanity, have realized in these lands, have occured during the Konya Çatalhöyük excavation works. Konya which is assumed as the cradle of world civilization today, has an important location in terms of faith history. The Mother Goddess which has formed in Çatalhöyük at 6500‟s B.C., also forms the first cores of paganist religions of the Kybele cult. Konya has also hosted other religions during the historical phase. Gastronomic tours are specific tourist products that represent some areas in the international tourist market, for example cheese, wine and olive roads. Among the numerous tourists visiting Herzegovina and the Adriatic coast every year, there are so-called Existential tourists whose aim is to taste and feel the authenticity of the Herzegovinian area and it's gastronomic culture. Tasting food in authentic rural areas is a kind of ritual for getting to know the history and cultural heritage of the local community. Each dish has its own story and origin. Modern rural tourism promotes specific food and wine destinations through the Internet, specialized travel agencies, smartphone applications and the media. Electronic media, like television, play a big role in promoting the gastronomy and the culinary world, through special programs and channels. Herzegovina has preserved numerous traditional meals, primarily by word of mouth, but in\u0000\u0000reality only a few meals (japra and dolma, pancakes, sour polenta, meals under the sač) are recognizable. The authenticity of the area represents a significant tourist potential by\u0000\u0000incorporating traditional meals into the restaurants offer, family farms and the opening of food and wine roads, as well as the tourist's active participation in the preparation of food.\u0000\u0000The article analyzes the existing conditions of gastro tourism in the rural areas of Herzegovina. The survey was conducted at the level of owners of touristic facilities, tourists and local residents. The results may help hospitality management programs tailor recruitment materials to engage naturally entrepreneurial and outgoing potential students. Apart from the verbal contact with employees, menus in hospitability facilities still serve the purpose of a business card that with its design, print, size, food and facility information, and multilingualism is a symbol of restaurant's identity and theme. By analyzing the available research, direct and indirect consequences of unprofessional translations are apparent, resulting in the incomprehensible text of a restaurant offer. Objective: In this paper the author will make a review of available literature with the aim to investigate in systematical way the existent researches dealing with the issues of quality menu translations as well as the most common present translation strategies for translating such professional texts. Material and methods: A range of methods is available for synthesizing diverse forms of evidence. These include thematic analysis, grounded theory and qualitative comparative analysis. Methods vary in their strengths and weaknesses, ability to deal with qualitative and quantitative forms of evidence, and type of question for which they are most suitable. Results and conclusion: After a systematic analysis of the previously mentioned issues through available literature, the authors' conclusion is that the menu status should be determined as a text for special purpose dedicated to the specific target group of guests - tourists. Moreover, in the field of hospitality and tourism some studies focus on the relationship between training and hotel performance. This paper goes beyond this goal. It analyses the role of training on the hotel occupancy but, furthermore, it measures the impact of this human capital investment on the growth of a region, measured in terms of production, added value and employment. It combines both, microeconomic data from a database of two hundred hotels and the macro perspective of the Balearic Input-Output table, allowing measurement of the positive externalities that human capital investment in the hotel sector generates through the rest of the economy. Results show a positive and significant impact on potential growth and employment that goes beyond the strictly tourism-related sectors.
